I'm just about to dig and divide my irises! I love buying from Schreiner's and also the heirloom ones of Old House Gardens. I forgot to plant my Asiatic lilies last fall- I should've just put them in containers!! Something blooming all the time sounds great.😃

Hmm. I really love the Bearded Iris are really beautiful and do make a great show. You right about not planting too deep as they flourish better when planted in shallow soil. I really grown to like lilies. Grew up with white one and have discovered all these new varieties and they are perennials which is a plus.

Japanese beetles ate my crepe myrtle to ground in 2018,it is trying to make a comeback it is about 2/3 feet tall now...how do I keep the Japanese beetles away.
