This is a beautiful 1954 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 Special 4 door sedan with 38,677 original miles. Purchased new at E.P. Rich Motors in June of 1954, this pampered Fleetwood has been amazingly well preserved. The interior appears original and in immaculate condition with the plastic still on the seating. The chrome, trim, glass all are in excellent condition. The car starts; runs and drives beautifully and has been serviced and kept road-ready. Has new tires, power brakes, power steering, power windows, power seats, working wonder bar radio, 331 engine with 230 horsepower. Car is in absolute mint showroom condition and will be a welcome addition to any serious collectors car corral.

What a Grand Old Lady! Thank you for posting this.
STILL LOVE THE '57. & '58 CADYS
I love old car style. My favorite for style, just style! Cool Style. Hep Style. Fly Style are the 1948 and the 1961 Cadillac's. Brother that's Real, Classic STYLE. OK, hold everything. Wait a minute. We can't forget the 55 Nomad Wagon! That one has inside out Style!
cadillacs and dinosaurs ♥
when owning a Cadillac meant something
back then, when you pulled up in a car like this, people called you "mister."
Other than color, looks my grandfathers caddy. I did drive it about 50 miles once. Beast. His 60 was a dream to drive if you like a floater that is quiet as a church mouse and comfortable as a psychiatrists couch.
Mother had a '54 Fleetwood, sky blue in and out. Loved it, long time ago.....
Now that is a DIGNIFIED car. Amazing how the styling cues STILL, 61 years later, convey the language of IMPORTANCE. I wonder how the designers were able to tap into the primal postures of ascendancy.
you sir just won the internet
That is beautiful car, my god.
Better than brand new. This is truly a dream machine. Sounds wonderful, look's stunning and I imagine an awesome car to drive. You must feel like a king driving around in something as majestic as this. Thankyou very much for showing us this beauty. God bless you sir.
Yeah, you can barely hear it when you run over j-walkers.
Amazing !
Wow! Wow!
Yes the car is rolling art but the paint and great chrome make the car.
This car's paint/chrome is outstanding
Maw used to call these and especially the later ones "Chrome Monsters." Beautiful car that it is, but where's the air conditioning?
Now, this is an automobile :))
THIS TAKES THE CAKE ...
' THE 1954. ENTERED IN A BIGGER. BOX SHAPE FROM THE ROUND .
BUT THIS CAR MAY BE THE JEWEL OF THE EARY MID '50S
Great looking car. However, a bit noisy. When these cars were new, they were essentially silent. Hardly any sound could be detected when standing next to one that was running. Properly muffled, and with factory spec damping insulation and correct alignment of belts and associated gearing correctly lubricated will solve most of the problems here.
Wrong. They had timing chains, not belts, and a cooling fan that ran continuously. There was no shrouding on the engine to muffle sound.
Likely idling way too high...plus, digital cameras usually have very sensitive microphones that amplify volume considerably.
No interior shots. Missed opportunity.
No visible signs of A/C. Unless there is a front console aftermarket, there is no air conditioning unit in the whole car.
A beauty!
Me gusta el carro un Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special 1954; me gusta esa antigüedad; porqué me encanta soy José Rafael Grange Fuenmayor saludos y buenas tardes.
I am as old as this car. And just as classic....Yes, of course they should have shown the interior.
.
stunning ..
Yes I have to agree....it would have been very nice if we could have actually seen anything of the interior at all.
Not drawn to this model year however this is an exception and soothing color, like.
I have an original 1954 issue of LIFE magazine. Full page add for this car. Nice color. Been in the same family 63 years.
The model name wasn't just Special it was Series 60 Special (also spelled out: Series Sixty Special, often shortened to just Sixty Special but never just Special). The body was by Fleetwood, but in the 1954 brochure they did not include it in the model name, though in some later years they did.
My Uncle usually bought his Cadillacs from Rector Cadillac but in 1978 he bought his new Cadillac in Corte Madera Cadillac Dealer. 1954 was the start of something very good in Cadillac
this car is HUGE!!!!!!! I love it!!!! this is what you call a real luxury car todays cadillacs are UGLY!!!!!! nothing but ghetto!!!!
In what alternative universe would I have to be living to believe a 64-year-old car has 38K miles? The first car I remember was my Dad's 1954 Coupe De Ville (powder blue).
People like Jay Leno buy cars and put them in heated garages and have personal mechanics that take care of them.
why don’t you walk around one more time I didn’t catch that
The original owner was 98 when she ordered this car.
The exterior was the only thing shown
I see why miss.daisy bought that heaux!
Is this car for sale? And, if so what is the asking price?
Si si , autèntic sensa problemes per aparcà
Don Barzini's last car.
What is the price?
Wow! Was that one of Bonanno cars ? You know. The mob boss in N.Y.C. back in the day. Sure looks like the kind of car a Mafia staff car would be like. Don Vitto Corlione.
How long is it? Yea, that's what she said.
Why no interior pics??
No A/C. Unless it has an aftermarket system, this Fleetwood Sixty Special is not fitted with A/C of any kind. Factory systems used scoops that flanked the rear fenders. This car was not so equipped.
There is another video of this same car being driven.
I miss the chrome/detailing on cars... today everything's so cookie cutter, all gray/charcoal pieces of sheist.
A sixty special w/o AC? Come on. Are you calling it a fleetwood because it says that on the rocker panels?
A Fleetwood Sixty Special without air conditioning. Oh, they had 'em. Must have come from one of the northern states or from some buyer who thought the whole idea was just a waste of time. But such luxury sans climate control?!! I'd drive a Yugo with air conditioning first.
Actually, with wind wings , the vents and windows down, much better than a yugo. in fact, if I lose my hub cap near that yugo it will take it out of commission!
... NO views of the interior... the upholstery... the dashboard...
way to noisy for a caddy
Absolutely terrible video. Too bad, might have been a nice car to see
