    Is there a way to avoid the droplets colliding when using this method?

    Not sure if it's more of fault of my speaker setup or this video has very loud intro then very quiet explainations... Had to crank my volume to 100% I just hope Avast won't announce it has updated. xD

    But now you can use in geometry nodes. :)

    I don't understand the rotation of the droplets how do you make them rotate to the right direction facing the flat way to the can

    • @TopChannel1on1
      @TopChannel1on1  9 місяців тому

      In the particle settings there is a rotation setting set it to normal, if the particles are still not facing the direction you want, select the original object and in edit mode rotate it until the particles face the direction u want

    Why didn't you use geometry nodes form the UV sphere

    • @SebKrafts
      @SebKrafts Місяць тому

      Geometry nodes didn't exist in that version of Blender.

    Very informative!. I would suggest trying to slow down a little bit. I like the background music, too 🎶🎧
    9:30 I cannot understand what the problem was and what you did to fix it. 🤨

    Sorry, but still a beginner. It would be helpful if you were to mention which tab you have clicked on, only as I have to pause the video and look and what you have selected and what layout mode you are in. Just an idea. anyways....great video, super helpful.

    I must say this is the easiest way to do it, the only problem is that we can't animate falling droplets, but that's the point, and i'm lazy to learn geo node and do big tree structures and animating in shading tabs, so I stick on this

    one problem I always stumble on is that the water droplets with glass shader are basically black in the scene I'm using it no matter the lighting I try to add to it it just doesn't show that nice glass like transparency.

    Okay I tried adding a shrinkwrap modifier to those larger water droplets so that they stick or snap onto the surface of the base mesh. They're sort of angle the wrong direction.

    • @TopChannel1on1
      @TopChannel1on1  3 роки тому +1

      make sure in the hair system you check use modifiers and see if that helps
