Since I am not one of the "Lucky 200" - thank you for letting us have a look at your selected photos (love them) and your thinking (which the book obviously lacks). Added value!
THIS is what I need right now: analysis of composition and timing. Thanks I’m a strong believer in the action of the subliminal in photography. Call it what you will: luck, experience, or Learning to See. I have found when I analyze a photo that speaks to me, there are strong compositional elements in it that I didn’t recognize initially.
Some great work! I love the shot of the green cyclist caught between the 2 sets of green, red & black fences. It's a beautiful image and a tricky one to catch. You nailed the light too!
I started following your work probably a week after the book sold out and I was bummed that it was no longer available, so it’s great to get a guided tour through it.
I think it’s fantastic work, and love the book. My only reservation is the learning to see title, you already can see and there is no learning curve here!
Mike, this is great. I was smiling end-to-end during this video. I enjoyed your enthusiasm for describing each photo, but more importantly I learned a lot about sequencing. I wonder if some of my pictures that I thought were not good enough could have worked well in a thoughtful sequencing. There were so many times in this book where you made an individual photo so much better by contrasting it with another.
Hi Mike one thing I love about shooting Street is when you notice other things in the image when processing. Totally coincidental but it just works 😊 I definitely need to produce a photo book for a selection of my favourite street photo's. It's far better viewing them as 'prints' rather than on a screen. You produced a stunning collection of your best work to date. A favourite 🤔 I think the 'hands' image near the end
Thanks for this video Mike! Unfortunately I didn't manage to get my hands on your book, but this flick through video was very enjoyable. Hard to pick a favourite as they are all really nice and the sequencing works really well throughout the book. I do like the mumbai one a lot. Very cinematic! And the sausage dog one is a happy fun one! But as said, loads more I'd list here as favourites! Amazing work and thanks for the inspiration!
I was unsure whether to buy a Leica M11 or a Q3. So decide to buy a Lumix S9. I'm waiting for sales to start. And I will use it with Sima ART DN lenses.
Mike. WOW. When is the re-print? Fantastic book and I was captivated from cover to cover and your explanation of the sequencing and details of each shot. Who printed this great publication, on what paper and what is the cover material?

Love this - hearing the thought process behind the shots is always the most interesting
This is just amazing. My god im so impressed. I really want this book on my own coffee table.
So much gold with the sequencing
Mike you are allowed to be proud of your own work. Shout about it, it's great!

Yellow bus, taxi and yellow bike. and the green stall with the green bike. Wow.
Glad you liked those!! Thank you
Great to hear your thoughts on the layout and the interrelationship of the different images. makes me feel like publishing some of my work.

Great work, Mike! Impressed by the attention to detail and the creative efforts that went into this project. Thanks for sharing!
Much appreciated! That means a lot.
Photographic data at the end was reminiscent of Ihee Kimura - Japan Through a Leica of the 1930’s. Nice touch!
Awesome video Mike!🔥 insane talent to notice these things on the street where everything moves so fast!
Great street photography work, congrats 👏 👏👏
Thank you so much 😀
Awesome work!
Really appreciate this video and the processes you describe. Thanks.
Loved this video. Thank you ❤️

As a photobook junkie… this is tight
Excellent and inspirational! How did you select the images. Find the ones you wanted to match from your large library of images?
