ive been playing jazz for 20 years as a drummer. sat and watched a loooottttt of solos. don't think I've ever seen 2 people solo over each other and hardly step on each others toes the way the sax and guitar do at the end of this video. almost perfectly complimenting each other the whole time. amazing.

These verses hit different with this slower delivery...more time to let them breathe and connect. These instrumentals really elevate the material. I hope this is turning some young hip hop fans into jazz fans, and some old jazz fans into hip hop.
This quickly became one of my all-time favorite Tiny Desk performances. Endless kudos to Action Bronson and his band for exuding much majesty, power, love, and purebred funk so effortlessly. I felt this in my sternum.

If you want, he’s currently touring the country with this band, check if he’s in your area! Sure they won’t have that NPR sound engineers touch, but the vibes will most likely be the same! Can’t wait till he’s in Philly!
Action had the best time out of everyone. It is inspiring to see how much he enjoys life and the talent of the other musicians without trying to be the center of attention, with no ego just being in the moment.
I am ashamed I have never seen or heard of Action Bronson before....thank you NPR for introducing him to me, I have been watching this show now 10 times. What a legend.
He's phenomenal live. My wife and I flew 700 miles to see him perform in Providence, and I would've traveled twice as far to see him again. Hoping I catch the next tour. He hung out after the show and talked to people, signed memorabilia. Got a vinyl signed by him and a quick chat. Dude's the real deal

I wasn’t even a Tiny Desk regular listener nor an Action Bronson fan but somehow I came across this. I haven’t been so thoroughly entertained for a half hour in years. Excellent performance all around.
I have never smiled for the length of a whole tiny desk apart from this. 27 mins of full smiles because of this man’s authenticity, the band and the vibes.
I waited three days to watch this in the perfect setting and the perfect amount of high and it did not disappoint!!! 27 minute smile and my neck aches from bopping so hard haha
I've always felt that Bronson's lyrical style is a poetic display of an intricate mind. One with so much to say, but never enough time to say it. He can tell a whole story and evoke an array of feelings in just a bar or two. It's a wildly beautiful form of art he's so casually pulling off. The band here compliments it perfectly. Emphasising the right chords and giving a sort of 'bounce' to the multitude of stories Bronson is telling. Waves you could say. Far out, what a set. I'm very much going to struggle counting the number of times I come back to this video

Saw Action Bronson and Human Growth Hormone live a few weeks ago and it was an incredible show. This Tiny Desk just gives me more of them and I'm here for it.

Always knew Bronson but only started listening to him last week, this guy is so good it’s unbelievable, his sound is just from an other era and his confidence shows thru, so freaking undated

This is hands down one of the best tiny desk concerts! The’ Live from the moon’ solo... just wow.water to my eyes. Even the song that played during the credits. I was ready fort that song to come in! That band is amazing! And Bronson always bring quality to where ever he is!
