  • Launched from catawba and headed straight out to the reef complex (crib) and jigged up some nice males. Half came on hair jigs and the other half on silver blue cicada blade bait. There was no need for the lures to be tipped with minnows or anything.
    Another beautiful day on the big pond! Everyone was pulling fish.

      It’s been tough for us so far this year. Just getting the time to go is one problem then when we do get a chance to go the wind blows 90 mph. Crazy

    Why's everyone use a small rod just wait to u get a 14 lb walleye on u will wish u had a 7 ft or bigger rod but for them little walleye I guess a 6ft rod is ok ..

    Someone said y’all are irresponsible. If you are traveling there to go fishing I agree I live up the lake from there in PA and I’m refraining from chasing eyes right now. Sad thing is all the idiots that are traveling when they’re not supposed to be. I do have a question about your tactics as well if you would reply to that I’d appreciate it. We’re you guys using spot lock, anchoring or drifting?

    • @TCSOUTDOORS
      @TCSOUTDOORS  4 роки тому +2

      We had the trolling motor set to move use around at like .5mph, just enough to keep pounding bottom and maintain our line angles at about 45° or so. We stayed in an area roughly 800' diameter. We couldn't get a bite spotlocked.

      @@TheEverLovingOutdoors I have found that moving at about .5 to 1 mph is the best way to catch walleye during the jig bite.
