Went for the first jigging trip of 2024 and it was a bust. Started pounding the reefs in multiple locations and only pulled 2 fish. We decided to switch to trolling to save the day and it was absolutely amazing. Landed 12 walleye in less than 45 minutes to fill the live well then back to jigging we went with the same results as in the beginning, nothing. It was still a beautiful day on the water with some nice lake Erie walleye.

Going on a jigging trip next week. Maybe we'll see you out there. When your buddy was removing the hook and said it was easier than the crankbaits, I was thinking the same thing. Do you keep a cooler of ice onboard or do you just bleed them out just before heading back to the dock? Thanks for taking us along again. Fish on!
Jigging bite was disappointing for you guy's. But you made it up trolling. We will be on Erie the week of 4-15. Hope to see you on the water. Definitely looking forward to fish with you on the 28th.
Ya, we weren't on enough fish. Guys back east of me done way better jigging. Trolling has just been plain crazy hot!! See ya soon!
