Great video. Was waiting patiently to see an on-water video of the new rig. Guys, his prices are a steal to get on a boat like this with a Captain like this.
Met you at the boat show last year and also at the Columbus Fishing Expo this year. Melissa is quite the master at jigging now. :) Thanks for taking us along.
It was a long wait since your last video, but it was well worth the wait. Great instructional information as always and it was great to see you shoot a video on the new boat. Hope we can fish with you again this year! Bruce Brandeberry Maumee, OH
Wife was jigging with her rod tip too high, and I bet she never actually felt bottom. Maybe give her a shorter, lighter rod, lighter line, heavier jig?
Great Boat man. One thing I noticed is your extra careful/concerned (OCD) about your rods/lures, their settings and your boats clean and fit condition. I get that. You and I could be brothers from different mothers. I chartered/guided for walleyes on Saginaw Bay/Tittabawassee River for 25+ years. Retired now, but clients learned in a hurry no black soles shoes or Cheetos allowed on Capt.Dans Walleye Express. 😅
Great Video, Thanks for what you do. You mentioned your lead lengths with the longer on the outside board. I've always run my outside higher in the water collum to be able to slide over the top of the inside baits. Are you doing this with crank bait only, or would you also do this with weight assisted crank baits such as with snap weights?
If I'm using snap weights I will go shorter on the outside and longer on the inside...I also use the same if I'm trolling unassisted baits under 50' lead lengths. If I'm trolling unassisted baits over 50' leads I will go longer on the outside and shorter on the inside. This just simply helps with tangles.
On your pwc Crankbait, how can I get the yellow bottom with reflective purple color u fish. Looked all around the internet and can’t find any in that color. Thank you and love the videos
New York State with its walleye season closed to protect spawning walleyes is unnecessary yet they harvest large female spawners as prize winners in their walleye contests for money?????

Is the added padding to protect your boat?😉
Originally to protect the paint but after dropping it in the lake a few times...it does float as well!!

It is a custom color painted by Eriegardless Custom Baits.

Yes I am...lol
Can you still jig for the walleyes in may
Maybe...after this cooling 3 day blow who knows...I'll be trying this afternoon.
Jason - I really like the idea of the forward facing camera. Is that NMEA2000 or ethernet? If NMEA, have a link to share?

Not sure why...I leave the rules up to DNR and trust their knowledge of the lake.
