  • We decided to switch up the edit this week! This is a much simpler hiking video than what we normally make on this channel, without the high paced edits, thumpin’ music and loads of info.
Eventually we would like to do more travel vlog type videos surrounding places to visit here in New England (travel vlogs tending to be edited more in line with how we’ve been editing our hiking videos), and we realize that the audience for those kinds of videos are probably not the same as those searching for more immersive nature hiking videos. Let us know what you think of the change! We appreciate all comments, and really want to build a community surrounding love of the outdoors, exploration and adventure, so we’d love any and all feedback on how we could best do that through our videos. What would you be most interested in seeing, or what types of videos do you really enjoy watching? We’d love to know!

    Hiking information:
The two peaks you see in the video are North and Middle Sugarloaf mountains, located close to Twin Mountain New Hampshire. During the winter you have to do a road walk of a bit over a mile before starting the actual hike. Doing a round trip to both summits from the trailhead (so, not including the road walk) will be about an 1,100 ft. elevation gain over 3.4 miles. Middle Sugarloaf is one of the peaks on the NH 52 With a View list: 4000footers.com...

I've made a couple "natural sounds" videos but ultimately I find them boring to film and edit. Plenty of channels have success that way but I didn't find it sustainable from a creative point of view. Anyway, the Sugarloafs (Sugerloaves?) are always a great choice - not too difficult but fantastic views.

We very much agree after editing the video 😅 might not be exactly our cup of tea, although we can see why people might enjoy watching videos like that. There is definitely a balance that we hope to find!

Thanks for watching! Our snow has very quickly been depleted over the last week...feeling very much like summer at the moment!

Thank you for bringing us through this so pleasant and snowy hike. Loved all the details and, believe me , I noticed ALL of them , as I usually can't stop doing it in my everyday life. The calm ambience is really peaceful. Beautiful views on the way. 🥾🧡🧡🧡

Of course we thought the views would be nice because of the hiking list Middle Sugarloaf is on, but we were really blown away by both peaks. Have fun on your trip up there, it’ll be worth it!
