Little green men, please bring Slim back, he has more videos to make. On the other hand, there has to be something interesting about a man who would camp in 10 inches of snow. In any event keep the good stuff coming.

Here's a tip for you Slim, Have your Wipers on your jeep standing out while you are parked - That way they wont freeze to the windscreen - I learned this when I moved to the Carriboo of why wipers are standing out during the winter time.

When you tilt your solar panel, to keep snow off .Use windshield washer fluid in a spray bottle.

I live in New Hampshire not too far from where you evidently stayed. I just had to speak up here and make it clear that this snow storm that just happened this past week is the worst we’ve seen this year and is some thing that we see usually every week of a winter. We’ve had an extremely mild and precipitation free to light Year so far this particular storm that you’re sharing here took down wires where I live and we went 3 1/2 days without power and were melting snow for toilet flushing and bathing. It’s just part of living here because like I said some years we get a foot of snow, and, couple days later see another 6 inches in a few days later another 8 inches it just happens that way. Glad to see you local and have to say it’s nice to see the beauty of the trees even on UA-cam. I always say we live in a state where people come to vacation because it’s such a beautiful place.

Slim, greetings from the UK. Many years ago I helped rescue a work colleague who got stuck to a pit toilet seat in Norway. We were inside the arctic circle in February. He went into the can, lowered his trousers etc. and sat down on the throne for the performance. Only problem was he had been exercising and he was a tad sweaty. He instantly froze to the cold seat. He had been in there for a while and fortunately somebody else needed the loo. He came and found us in the bar to both tell us and get help. We raced to his aid and after a few minutes of uncontrollable laughter we agreed that the best course of action was hot water. So, with a bucket of hot water we managed to defrost his backside from the Karzy seat. He was OK but he was not keen on sitting down for the next week or so. The flight home on the red mesh seats of a Norwegian C130 must have been rather uncomfortable.

Wow! 15 minutes away from my house! Hancock is one of the very few open in winter. The stream behind you is Otter Creek if I recall and quite refreshing in the summer. Last summer they had to close Hancock because there was a bear constantly showing up. If you go to the other side of the Kancamagus there's a really nice CG called Jigger Johnson and the Swift River runs past it. Well worth the stay too.

Hey slim, great video as usual!! Your trick for the toilet adventure was different. I’ve never heard of that before but what ever works!! Lol!! I’ve used 1” styrofoam sm, cut to the same shape as ( or close to) the seat. It’s portable and if someone is heavier they could bump it up to 2”. The best part is it’s like having a heated toilet seat!! Lol!!

I’m in the Pacific Northwest (damp) and have a similar pair of gloves. “Snowboarder gloves,”they were called. Mine got wet from sweating and were impossible to dry because of the waterproof outlet layer. Ended up separating the lining from the outside with a seam ripper at the wrist. Now I can separate the two layers and dry them separately. Put back together, they work as well as before. Envy you your winter camping! And your travelogue of places I’d like to go.

      From the company's website:
"We’ve been building protective equipment in Seattle since 1981. Creating American jobs and building Made in the USA products have always been a hallmark of our business. Today, we operate out of two U.S. factories, one that shares our corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA and another in El Monte, CA. Being steps away from our production floors allows us to create, test, improve, and distribute protective equipment with the greatest speed and efficiency. It was this accessibility and expertise that allowed us to respond to the needs of the medical community in 2020 by manufacturing personal protective equipment for essential healthcare personnel."

We have a similar indian head in a smaller scale here in Duluth MN at 40 Ave East on a small hill rock outcrop. It is a mile or from Lake Superior

I just had to do the exact same repairs to my 2004 liberty - it's amazing how much quieter they are afterward. I love these winter videos so much - stay safe!!!

Absolutely beautiful! Love love the look back at the Indian Head. How magical! And, as for the ending... can't stop giggling . Were you at all worried about not being able to leave with all that snow falling?

I had to leave early as another major storm was on the way. If they were not going to plow, then yes I was concerned. Thanks! SP
