What PRESIDENT DUTERTE Got Right & Wrong About COVID-19 In The Philippines

- In this vlog we discuss how the philippines president rodrigo duterte handled the covid-19 crises at the begining of the year.
Now the end of 2020 is almost upon us it is the perfect time to discuss what president rodrigo duterte did right and what mistakes he made during the corona virus pandemic and the handling of it. There are certainly some very very good things that duterte did and acted very early at, even if at the time it may of seemed a little over the top.
Some of the good things we talk about are about closing the philippines borders, putting the country into lockdown and funding the department of tourism to help as many people as possible. Some of the negatives include the closure of borders, hotels closing and internal airports closing with people being trapped.
This video is from our perspective of when we was 1 of the many people affected by all the restrictions so I guess we would have a good idea on the problems many people faced.
Great leaders have to be ruthless and strong and I think that summarises the philippines presidents handling of covid-19 and how he generally governs the country

Hi mate, I can understand your predicament and wanting to go to Philippines to see and live in your place in Iloilo. I can only hope the virus can be contained so that normal travel can resumed. Our situation is not ideal either.. I am a Filipino living in Australia and I know family members and friends who cannot go back to Philippines to see their dying parents. It is harsh and very difficult but at the end, we understand the reason behind this. Philippines is a developing country and certainly the decision of lockdown and no visa being granted are a big blow to its economy but at the end, I think the Philippines government is doing what it can to ensure this virus is somewhat contained. Good luck and what you might want to consider is see if you can get someone in FB or your subscriber in Iloilo to check up on your property if you don't have anyone to do that. hiya mate, yea i think we can all totally agree and 100% understand why the government has done what it has no question. I guess at this time people are all just trying to cope best they can and i totally get it, i guess its always easy to say what could of been done better and i feel bad knowing that my big concern at the moment is wanting to see our condo but you know people who cant be with there dying family members its terrible. I guess ultimately its shit for everybody at the moment no matter what the circumstance, lets hope that maybe by may/june we will be able to go back home to the philippines because i really miss it like crazy.
