Warning to anyone using this or other winch style spare tire carriers. This particular model has two dense rubber bushings that guide the cable and slide within the interior channel. If too much force or weight is placed on these they are prone to deformation which can result in complete failure of the winch. This can result in a catastrophic loss under the right conditions. Please, if possible mount behind your axles and secure your spare with a redundant measure. I used a ratchet strap and plan to add a large Ubolt above the beam to allow the tire to be locked and secured if the winch fails while driving down the road. I would like to add ours failed when I dropped the tire to check air pressure, less than 2 years old and has only been cycled 3-4 times.

My 5th wheel had this spare tire holder on it. I replaced all the cheap tires on the camper right after I purchased it. This spare tire holder broke the first time I used it.

Is there a way to repair these? Ours failed after about a half dozen cycles on a 2017 Lance trailer. At present the retraction won’t lift the tire all the way up.

My 2019 Jayco GreyHawk 30X has a dimension of 46inchs between the frames. Do you have a model for those?

i just installed one of these to my redhawk se. i modified the carrier by cutting it down to fit 38 inches. it worked beautifully.

Could that be install to a class b winnebago solis 59p rv?

No. This product is too wide for the narrow frames on motorized RVs. Also, the weight of the tire could be too heavy and motorized RVs are lower to the ground, so clearance would be a big issue. Thank you for your interest.
