Over the past year or so it seems our taste in books has slightly diverged, but I will never not watch a video Regan posts! She has the happiest, most infectious personality aw, I always feel better after watching a peruseproject video! x
Oh heck yea, im so excited for Schwab's Threads of Power series bc its set in the same world as the Shades of Magic series! One of my FAVE authors ugh so good
Reagan, girl, your moving camera made me think you were in the middle of an earthquake lol. I was like "oh shit, she's dedicated in continuing/pushing through lol". Have a good reading year!
Hello, fellow Regan. I just finished This Savage Song last month- I'm very exicted to pick Our Dark Duet. Should I be embarassed that I didn't realize V.E. Schwab was the same as Victoria Schwab?
Do you ever fall so in love with a series that starting a different series with new characters doesn’t sound great at first? Like I’m reading Robin Hobbs Farseer trilogy and I’m so wrapped up in these characters I don’t want a different world right now. It’s quite possible that I’m very weird. Lol
January is going well for me so far, i'm 8 books in as of the 8th and they were all great apart from 1 which would have been 5/5 if it weren't for the rip off ending
If u havent read the shattered realm quartet before those books, then they kinda get spoiled early on in Flamecaster. The Shattered Realms quartet is a great series in its own right and well worth the read before flamecaster
Hearing that comment about how you hope you never move ever again + knowing that you’re moving to New York made my heart hurt a little. Hopefully you don’t have to give up any of your books this time!
II'm glad that your reading year was that good! I read 74 books this year, but only 8 of them were 5-star-reads... :/ I hope 2018 will be a better reading year
I'm so glad you had a good reading year, I feel like a lot of people kind of had meh reading years (including me) so I'm glad you read some really good books! It wasn't all bad, I read 85 books and a lot of them were over 3.5 stars but there were also a lot of meh books I spent ages reading. A goal I have for this year is to DNF more, I'm tired of slogging through meh two or three star books.
This was such a fun watch! I did this type of video on my channel too! Strange the Dreamer got second place in my top books of last year. Such an amazingly magical and beautiful book
Early in 2017 you did a video saying what books you planned to read for the year. One of the books was the Lord of the Rings which you apparently have never read. Sounds like you didn't make it this year either. It is a classic but admittedly, I, at least, always have to force myself to get to Bree before I get hooked into the story. Hopefully, some day you'll read it. Enjoy your channel and all the great referrals,.
To think my reading goal for this year is half of what you read last year! Amazed by how much you’re able to read, definitely inspires me to keep reading :)
I'm just keep wondering how is it possible that you don't have pictures printed on the cover, but only on sleeves... It's so strange! And I can't imagine how quickly it gets destroyed..
I seriously love your videos, I think you have an amazing personality and you're funny and clever. But every time you mispronounce Tony Diterlizzi I die a little inside. "Dee-ter-lee-zee"
How do you keep track of all of your books you read every month and the stars? I know you use good reads and I do too, but to me good reads is still hard to keep track of them. I also use the notes app on my phone. Do you write them down or use another way? Also I wish I read that many books last year. I only read 8 whole books and working on an audio book. How do you find time for so much reading? When I have classes and work it's hard for me to find motivation to read and then when I don't have anything to do I watch youtube and Netflix because that's when I have time to do that. the struggle is real for me to find time and the motivation at the same time to read all these books I need to read. Hope that all made sense haha. Great list of books you read last year though! I need to read like all of them haha.
I really need to get on reading the rest of the Darker Shade of Magic series! I'm currently reading the Winner's Curse trilogy right now & it's so good! You should definitely give it a try this year:)
Hey Regan and other commenters, I have question. I didn't like The Throne of Glass. And her other seires seems cool, but I don't want to pick since I really didnt like her book. Do you think I should or not.
Jamison Douglas it depends on what you didn't like about throne of glass. The writing in the two series is fairly similar, because both are fantasy series by the same author. The ACOTAR trilogy is even more high fantasy than throne of glass, at least to me, so that can either heighten your experience or make it drag, depending on your preferences. It's also narrated in first person, which gives it a different feel. The ACOTAR trilogy is my favourite of the two, so I'd love to recommend it to everyone lol, but it can be kinda hard to get into the first book. I'd normally tell you to just push through ACOTAR to get to the next two books but as I said, it depends on what aspects of throne of glass you didn't like. Anyway I hope that helped at least a little bit lol
Jamison Douglas I read Throne of Glass and didn’t like it, same as you. I’m currently reading ACOTAR and it’s one of my favorite books of all times.. if you like high fantasy you’re not going to regret reading this. ITS SO GOOD
i recently read The Queen Of The Tearling, because of your top fantasy series video. s/o to you because that book made my top twenty of all time list, im in love
I need to read The Thief. I have read The Queen of Attolia back in 7th grade because my school only had that one and I loved it. Now I just need to read the whole series.
You haven't read Turtles all the way down? You need to read it! It was the best John Green book so far (coming from a girl who is not fond of John Green's books)
Looking back at this, I can see how so many of the books I read this year were talked about by you! I love the Dark Prism series and you have me excited about The Thief series now too.
I'm actually starting off 2018 with the Shades of Magic series. I'm about 160 pages into A Darker Shade of Magic and I love it so much that I also borrowed A Gathering of Shadows and put A Conjuring of Light on hold at my local library. I read the Monsters of Verity series last year and absolutely loved it. Victoria Schwab is one amazing writer out there. That's for sure.
I'm only 12 nearly 13 but I have quite a lot of books on my tbr 1. Dead time the murder notebooks book 1 (reading that at the moment) 2.clover moon jacqueline Wilson 3.catching fire hunger games 4.sapphire battersea jacqueline Wilson Q and a : what's your favourite genre to read I'm guessing fanasty
How did you read so many good books?? For every book I find that I love, I read like 4 books I just feel meh about haha
This year I swear I was just so lucky!
i know right, i read 35 books and had 4 to which i gave 5 stars, the rest were just okay or really bad
Same!!
regan high-fiving her book is my new aesthetic
Why are you so beautiful? Like honestly
I'm envious of your amazing reading year of so many 5 stars! Share the love, Regan! XD
Literally it was wild, I felt like everything I decided on just worked out!
Over the past year or so it seems our taste in books has slightly diverged, but I will never not watch a video Regan posts! She has the happiest, most infectious personality aw, I always feel better after watching a peruseproject video! x

How do you read so many books in a month? I need tips!
You tend to talk very loudly in your videos which is super hard to watch with headphones but I keep coming back because I love you
Wow you read so many series! I almost always opt for stand alones because following up with an entire series just seems like a lot of work.
That's incredible! Hardly any below four! Just love this channel.
Great video! Please do it again next year :)
Hello, fellow Regan. I just finished This Savage Song last month- I'm very exicted to pick Our Dark Duet. Should I be embarassed that I didn't realize V.E. Schwab was the same as Victoria Schwab?
Would you consider doing a series review of the queen's thief?
The Unseen World was probably my favourite book of last year. I actually cried while I was telling my husband about it (how embarrassing 🙈😂)
Second like I’ve never been so satisfied
So many awesome books! I love being able to see everything you read this year! 💗
So glad you enjoyed!
How do you decide how many stars each book should get?
I think by her intensity of pleasure she got while reading
Do you ever fall so in love with a series that starting a different series with new characters doesn’t sound great at first? Like I’m reading Robin Hobbs Farseer trilogy and I’m so wrapped up in these characters I don’t want a different world right now. It’s quite possible that I’m very weird. Lol
So many 5 stars! So jealous!!
Matilda is the absolute cutest! I've put The Unseen World on my TBR for this month, and can't wait to read it.
I really love your look in this video!!
can you make a video for advice for new booktubers?
January is going well for me so far, i'm 8 books in as of the 8th and they were all great apart from 1 which would have been 5/5 if it weren't for the rip off ending
Fine, you win Regan! I'll start with Flamecaster and then move on to Shadowcaster.
If u havent read the shattered realm quartet before those books, then they kinda get spoiled early on in Flamecaster. The Shattered Realms quartet is a great series in its own right and well worth the read before flamecaster
“Hopefully I never have to move again and I’ll never have to get rid of another book.”
Four months later and she’s moving again.
1:07 foreshadowing?
Hearing that comment about how you hope you never move ever again + knowing that you’re moving to New York made my heart hurt a little. Hopefully you don’t have to give up any of your books this time!
Everything Everything has been on my shelf for so so long! Have to pick it up soon!
Love these list type videos!
I loved this video.
Such a great reading year! I love how many 4-5 star books this had. :) This might be just me, but didn't you also read Like A River Glorious in 2017?
Great overview! I really enjoyed hearing about what you included in top 10 and why.
II'm glad that your reading year was that good! I read 74 books this year, but only 8 of them were 5-star-reads... :/ I hope 2018 will be a better reading year
Is it weird to be jealous of your reading list?? Haha they all look so amazing and I wish I'd read them all last year too!!
They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera is really good if you haven’t read it
I'm so glad you had a good reading year, I feel like a lot of people kind of had meh reading years (including me) so I'm glad you read some really good books! MusicBooksTV 85?... I read like 10 or 15...
Warzikus Any reading is great! 😁
This was such a fun watch! I did this type of video on my channel too! Strange the Dreamer got second place in my top books of last year. Such an amazingly magical and beautiful book
I LOVE your sweater! Where is it from?
Yes I've been waiting for this video!!😁
So many good books so little times! The ADSOM series is definitely on my 2018 TBR!
How can you have 200 subscribers but only 42 comments and 4k views on a video? I got the impression your number of subscribers is faked 😅
Warzikus All of her viewers are busy reading. Lol. Trust me, it's real. She's the bomb
you have had a great reading year!!
Man glad to find someone else on the chaol train lol
I'm just about to start reading First We Were IV with my book club! Super excited and glad you liked it!
LOVED one dark throne! it was so so good. thank you for the recommendation. I feel like it would be such a good movie.

Wow! So many books! Sounds like you had an amazing year of reading!
I really tried the thief and wanted to love it but the first 100 pages are them just talking about what they ate on this journey I was screaming
I'm just keep wondering how is it possible that you don't have pictures printed on the cover, but only on sleeves... It's so strange! And I can't imagine how quickly it gets destroyed..

What was your rating for ACOWAR?
Why do you have to get rid of ALL the books because you’re moving?? 😭😭
For Meet Cute what would you age rate it? It's really hard to find age ratings (I mean it did come out a few days ago)
Our reading tastes are so similar! I’m going to try The Thief next :)
