    This is page 23 Etude involving playing a foot ostinato with LRR in 16th notes. The left foot is pedaling the double pedal on the left as well as the hi-hat pedal at the sane time. So, left foot is playing harmonically the bass drum and hi-hat, the right foot is on the right side playing the main bass drum pedal. This solo is all written and you could work on playing exactly what I am playing because on page 23 is the notation of all the parts.
    The form is:
    Intro 4xs
    A = 8 measures
    B = 8 measures
    C = 4 measures made of 2bars phrase of paradiddle and a mambo pattern.
    A = 8 measures
    D = all the way to the end ...
    This Etude is a fun way to warmup musical and also to practice listening to time, with fills and melodies over the time.
    This is a great feet warmup as well, and great to develop coordination on the drum set.

    Super. Liked you latin lessons at Drumeo about cascara and clave: very clear! Nice step by step approach. Thanks.
