I have a budgie pair who have a clutch of eggs right now. Hopefully there will be some babies in the next 3 to 5 days. Baby budgies ate a lot of fun.

The budgie I told you about that was thrown from the nest is doing well. Just introduced him to the aviary but as he is not very good at eating seeds etc, he calls me to feed him.
Yesterday as I sat in the aviary Dino’s father swooped over my head about 4 times, very odd behaviour. He hasn’t done anything like that before. I had checked their nest & saw they had 2 new chicks. So seeing the father was so agitated I checked the nest ,it was empty. Oh what happened? I sat down again & still the fathers swooped. Again I looked closer & found one dead baby outside the nest. Did dad think I could save it like I did it’s brother?
I put layers of kitchen paper in the nest, & the mother spent 15 minutes hard at work pulling all the paper out. All the other pairs seem to appreciate kitchen paper.🤷‍♀️Now I am wondering it I should look for a budgie psychologist for this mother & also her mate. 🤣
