Harley in a barn neglected for 2 years. Then I get it running and break it.

Toys toys everywhere and not a moment to think. In this episode I tend to my neglected 1974 Ironhead sportster Harley that I neglected in a friends barn for 2 years. Then I break it. Enjoy!

Looks like the starter bendix ate itself and my primary chain tensioner shifted. Will have a video soon.

2 years and it didn't sump all the oil? That's a definite win on an iron head.

Yeah bikes are my passion. I have this old Harley, a couple of nortons, a couple Kawi triples and Honda SOHC cb750s as well.they are lots of fun.

This was the only bike my father and I worked on together so I’m kind of attached. He’s still alive but doesn’t work on stuff anymore.

That's a points cover, not a derby cover. The derby cover is only on a big twin, You remove it to adjust the clutch.

Call engine with a mag set up in the correct rocker box but it needs a Kickstarter and get rid of that damn kidney belt oil tank that’s got to go put a horseshoe tank probably cost you four or 500 to get an original one if not get a re-pop one 🤷🏽‍♂️💯 and get rid of that sheet set up not correct in my opinion but a cool sporty not paint job, but definitely a cool older iron head
