MY OPINION INCOMING: My thoughts on who should be the next bond is as follows. A white British actor. Not really sure who I'd pick exactly. I do not want a black James Bond, not because I'm racist or anything but because Bond has always been written as white. If they cast a black actor as Bond it will only be to please the people who want a black actor because it's black. I don't want a female actor to be cast either for the same reason.
exactly, a black guy could be a good bond but then again we aren't going to get a white guy to play a black character. making bond black just for the sake of making it diverse isn't very good
+sprinkleLPs it doesn't matter if they're black or whit, they should cast who they think is right for the role. Bond is english, black or white. idris elba should have as good a chance as any. but no female bond (because that practically tomb raider)
James Bond cannot be black or female. If you read Ian Flemings description of Bond and see the sketch commissioned by him of the Bond character it is clear that he is a white male born in Germany to a Scottish father and Swiss mother. It would be ludicrous to alter the character substantially. I would never go see a Bond movie that did so. Would you do the same thing to the character of Alan Quartermain? No, didn't think so.
+Dusty29 Because he is a white British character that the whole series is based on, it would be like changing one of the established Chinese characters in Crouching tiger hidden dragon to a black or a white actor, it makes no sense! And no James Bond is not a code name. (Of course I'm am very happy to see new spy films with a black or female hero but a DIFFERENT spy)
+shonen369 Green Lantern? Maybe we should start debating who the next commenter on this channel should be before we talk the next Bond. If youre American, your opinion is worthless. No offense, but Bond is a 63 year old British cultural institution, this isnt Hollywood does Marvel Comics.
+shonen369 green lantern was not change to black! A black guy took the mantle instead! very very, different. James Bond is James Bond. Now 007 is another story, you can make a black 007, but not a black james bond
+Bill Kipper I agree with you ,i'm not racist , but it's like a white man playing the role of shaft, Tom hardy Henry Cavill, Tom hiddleston , any of those would be a good choice. As for a female , i just don't see it
As you may know, Cavill barely lost out to Craig for Casino Royale. He'd be a good choice but the producers probably wouldn't want the same actor that plays Bond to also be playing Superman.
+Jared Leto tom hiddleston is just not a Bond though.. you need like a sean connery type charm. Not saying Tom doesnt have charm it just isn't a suit, guns, explosion, womanising type charm
Henry Cavill should be the obvious choice. The other considerations are awful when compared to past men who played the role of James Bond. And a female Bond??? How much coke did you guys sniff before considering that? Seriously? lol
+Mavila Have you seen films about Egypt where they get white actors to play Egyptians when they where never white? James Bond is a fictional character so can be any colour the producer wants. People complain about James Bond being black, but don't complain about white washing. So that means you are certainly a racist who believes only white people can be heroes in movies.
Delboy0 Well I did mention Black Panther who is a black superhero, and would not like to see anyone who isn't black not play him, cause that is how the character is portrayed
Mavila Black Panther is an African character and there are very few black superheroes. They have kinda already white washed Storm, who is meant to be African but is played by mixed raced actresses. James Bond is just a British spy, Britain has black people so why wouldn't they have a spy who is black called James Bond. That is very different to Black panther. The fact is White Male heroes are overrepresented and many white people want it to stay that way.
Mavila You don't get my point. There are very few black superheroes, so to make one of them white is morally wrong, but still happens. Edge of Tomorrow was set in Japan but they made the movie with white actors. Ghost in the Shell is also set in Japan, but this is being made with white actors. There are plenty of white male spies, what is the big problem with making one black instead?
I don't see how you can explain the fact that Bond suddenly turns black, or he's grown a pair of boobs in the meanwhile. Just make a new series of spy movies with these actors. I would really like to see a movie with a female version of Bond. Reminds me of "No one lives forever: A spy in harm's way".
I don't know how Sir Roger Moore transformed into Daniel Craig. I agree that there shouldn't be a Jane Bond, but I think a black 007 would be possible.
Connor Doogan Well, you could sort of explain it by saying that the new movies are stories from Bond's younger years. You just need to ignore the technology gap, which is sort of acceptable. But making him into a completely different person is just weird. Now, I think it is very likely that a Bond movie starring a black actor would be a really good movie by itself, but it would be sort of like The Hobbit. Those are great movies, but when taken in with the rest of Lord of the Rings series there's something missing.
It helps narrative wise if you think of James Bond as a code name and 007 as his rank. Interestingly they wanted Connery to come back for sky fall as an sort of wink to the audience but said people would be confused
jack brearley Well, i wouldn't have a problem with another actor taking up the 007 code, no matter of color or gender. But naming them James Bond (or Jane Bond, presumably)... i dunno.
+Cristi Neagu Hasn't James Bond been Australian, Irish, Scottish, English ? Hasn't he had Dark hair with Brown eyes, then dark hair with blue eyes and now Blond with blues. If James Bond has change appearance so much what is wrong with him becoming black? It seems more like racial protectionalism where white people don't want ethnic heroes. The same people who complain about Bond becoming black or black people in Stars Wars, never complain about white washing of ethnic characters, so they don't complain about Egyptians being played by white actors, Japanese Comic book characters being played by Emily Blunt, Tom Cruise and Scarlett Johansson.
I like Tom Hiddleston the best, but I think Tom Hardy would be a better Bond. Hardy can do that whole 'debonair one moment, slit your throat the next' thing that all the best Bonds have. Hiddleston just doesn't have that air of carefully contained violence - even when he's playing an evil character, he remains just a tiny bit... adorable.
My favorite is Idris Elba, he combines strength, elegance and something I would call the look of a lonely wolfe. In 2016 isn't it time for a black James Bond?!
James Bond is a basic British stereotype of a white man who is handsome and charming. I personally don't think that they should change the image dramatically because it makes the films what they are and if they were to do so, it would give it more of a diverse feeling although it's a classic and it shouldn't change under any circumstances!
I'd say Benedict Cumberbatch would make a really good Bond. However, Since he's probably signed up for more than just a few films already it would be highly unlikely he would be cast. But i wouldn't mind seeing him portray and very inquistive Bond.
+101chickendance I'm, kinda, still holding out hope still for Ioan Gruffudd. For those who don't know of Mr. Gruffudd, check out the Hornblower series. He's Mr. Hornblower. Not to say that I wouldn't want Tom Hardy.
+Katy L it's not racist it's just correct, he's a white male character :/ it would be like making a black character to be played by a white man, it wouldn't be right
I wouldn't care that much if he was black I guess (although it is quite simply not how the character is described its not that important) British however is VITAL
Mazin Elshazali Actually Not racist. Sorry but Do you know what is racist? that today, everyone goes to Africa in the desert, but stays in an european hotel, this is true racism. Or "we Do Not have any Problem with the turkish people, at least they make a good kebap!". Actually i fought for the rights of islamic people and I helped the refugees and cooked for them, so pls Do Not say i am a racist!
It's funny how folks are happy for Bond's actor to be Welsh, Irish, Scottish, and even Australian, but if you suggest that he could be played by someone with slightly more melanin, suddenly they're all "I'M NOT RACIST BUT-" My only concern with Elba as Bond would be his age. He's only four years younger than Daniel Craig, so I can see a risk that he wouldn't do more than a couple of films before people might consider him too old to be plausible in the role. Roger Moore in 'A View to a Kill', anyone? But on the other hand, 'tough old guy' characters can be pretty awesome, and it'd be a chance to explore Bond's career from a seasoned veteran's perspective.
+Amaritudine You can't be that much of a seasoned veteran. Bond is an Etonian from a Scottish aristocratic background, how can a black man play this? It simply would not be Bond anymore. And no a really am not racist, I don't want a white guy playing Nelson Mandela either.
I kinda like the idea of having Idris Elba as Bond. I know it never been made and all of the other Bond are white but the fact that it could bring something different is refreshing. Also im not scared of the performance he would give us, he is a talented actor!!
+Robert Gronewold Although that would be a good idea, I think it would be unfair to audiences of all ages to make Bond's boss so young. They did that with the characters of Q played by Ben Whishaw, age 30 and with C played by Andrew Scott, age 35. Both character look like nerdy school boys and play into outdated stereotypes, giving nothing interesting to their characters except being typecast as bumbling fools. Typcasting an Austrian as the villain demonstrates that Barbara Broccoli is running out of fresh casting ideas. However you have to give her credit for casting Monica Bellucci as a Bond girl. This went against the traditional trend of older man-younger woman, casting someone who was age appropriate and did not offend the audiences' sensibilities when the younger bond actress is barely out of her teens! With the exception of Ms. Money Penny played by Naomie Harris, the actors are mostly European despite the movie playing to a global audience with increasing revenues in Africa and Asia. Such casting really can't go on today and shows just how entrenched race and class are in British society. It appears they just can't shake it! As the film just started last week in Germany, I hope to see improvements in all the supporting characters and am excited about Bellucci's and Harris's roles. In short there are just too many baby faces. Have a balanced cast of international actors play to a globalized and diverse audience. As for the new M, Ralph Fiennes, I didn't like him in Harry Potter. Return the role of M to a woman. Helen Bohman Carter or Marina Sirtis come to mind! At least in this way it balances out the roles of the women by having someone brassy and sensible as Bond's boss.
+fredrika27 James Bond works for an MI organisation, based in London. So it makes perfect sense that most the actors are British/European. There's no point catering to international audiences by having an international cast for the sake of being PC. Noone complains about the lack of European actors in Asian films
Idris - Bond was not black Tom- Too weak looking Hardy-Possible candidate Henry Cavill -Has everything , the most outstanding candidate and would make a great Bond Lewis - a ginger Bond ? I don't think so
I'm voting for Henry Cavill. He has Bond written all over him. I do hope the old James Bond persona returns though. Like the original James Bonds with Sean Connery and Roger Moore.
Tom Hardy Could Make James Bond An Anti-Hero Tom Hiddleston Could Make James Bond Into More Emotional Bond They Could Remake OHMSS Starring Tom Hiddleston If Michael Fassbender , I think he could pull off sean connery's Charm, If Henry Cavill, He Could James Bond Into, Like Roger Moores Kind Hearted Bond Like from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Clive Owen Will Make The More Greedier Brutal James Bond, its Like A Combination of Timothy Dalton And Daniel Craig
The most comprehensive "Bond to be" list to date. I remember the controversy about Daniel being blond, and he turned out to be one of the best Bond so far. The next chapter could be quite interesting.
The two worst choices ever. For one 007 isn't black, and two I don't think Hiddleston fits the character at all. I could maybe see him playing Q, but not 007.
Henry is the obvious choice. And let's not replace Bond with a woman. It wouldn't be acceptable to make a predominately female character male, so the reverse shouldn't be either.
They already rebooted a white character with a black actress - Moneypenny. I think rebooting another main character, who is white, with a black actor is unnecessary. And while I adore Emily Blunt in pretty much everything she's in, she's not Bond. There has to be at least some consistency between the actors who play 007. Instead of changing existing characters into different races and sexes, why don't you spend your energy pushing for NEW franchises, with women and PoC main characters?
+shepardbook They initially hoped to do that with Halle Berry's character from 'Die Another Day'. I guess the film (and Jinx as a character) simply weren't popular enough, so mercifully we were spared a 'forced spinoff franchise' attempt.
+Amaritudine I believe, after Tomorrow Never Dies, either the producers or the studio went to Michelle to see if she'd be interested in reprising Wai Lin in her own movie(s), but she declined. Feel free to correct me if this is incorrect.
+teehee1604 Ben Wishaw is a better Q. Cumberbatch is too important an actor for the role. I feel Ben Whishaw plays a very good geeky computer genius, with the right amount of sass to also appear incredibly dangerous while doing so. Plus he has 2 cats and a mortgage to think about.
Megan Richards I agree, Ben Wishaw is a perfect Q and there's no need to change him. However, if Benedict Cumberbatch were to be given a role in a Bond film, I feel Q would be more ideal for him than 007.
You say he's not planning on quitting anytime soon early in the video, but he stated in recent interviews that he is leaving as soon as possible. He'd rather "slit his wrists" than do another Bond. Sources have said that Spectre is his last. Good video besides that. He's definitely quitting the role as soon as his contract allows.
Henry Cavill is very Bond! Or Matt Bomer, but he's American. I guess they'll try to change up the character again. Just like they did hiring Craig. And I think it worked out really well, so I'm looking forward for who's coming next ;).
Jamie Dornan shd be the next bond bc he's handsome, has ribbed physique, has charm n gd character. Popular especially with women after his fifty shade trilogy. Looking forward for him to portray the iconic James Bond
Idris Elba's too fatherly, Tom Hardy's too manly, David Oyelowo's too little, Tom Hiddleston's too Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne's too brittle, Emily Blunt would be better as a villain and Damian Lewis's too obscure, so Henry Cavill all the way.
We already seen him in superman and he audience will get bored seeing him again in hero type of characters. I personally think audience need a change , a massive change so idris elba fit the role for now
Tom Hiddleston most definitely. But if I can throw in another contender, or two, couldn't David Tennant or Benedict Cumberbatch be a good Bond? They both look marvelous in suits. And it would be interesting to see how David could add a cheekiness and wit to Bond. And it would be a switch similar to his Broadchurch role. Ben would definitely add a dark swagger to the double O agent. Any of these 3 would be double-oh my hotness for me. *fans self*
I'd be behind caville or Elba as both seem good choices and as for the race thing bonds a rank and code name nothing more that's why he's so sporadic between actors
I say either Clive Owen, Michael Fassbender, Henry Cavill , Tom Hiddleston, or Armie Hammer. Those are my top 5 people that I think would make a great James Bond.
Henry Cavill is too pretty. It felt like I was having a heart attack every time he got punch in the face in the Superman movies. That beautiful face!! Tom Hardy should be the next bond.
If they go female, they shouldn't make any pretense that she is "Jane Bond" or try to pretend that she's always been 007. Instead, just make her the next 007. Acknowledge that she succeeds Daniel Craig's character and they both exist in the same universe. Of course, they could have her be a relative of James Bond in which case her name might actually be "Jane Bond". Or perhaps when it comes time to give her a cover identity, she might be given the false name of "Jane Bond" because of sentimentality on the part of J.B.'s friends still in MI6 or because she models herself on James Bond. Also, some of James Bond's character traits would be very strange in a female agent. James Bond has to woo beautiful women. Admittedly he tends to get them in the end, but it would be a little weird with a female Bond. I'm not talking about a double standard here. Rather I am referring to how very little challenge it would be for a beautiful female spy to lure men to bed. You wouldn't feel she'd won a victory any more difficult than shooting fish in a barrel. And of course there is something of a double standard, even today. Many viewers will see her as a slut, not as a charming, charismatic agent. And James Bond's personality is often extremely unfeminine with a lot of hard edges. A black 007 could work. Any of the black actors suggested would probably do a fine job. Again, I think that from here on out they should not pretend that every 007 is the only one ever to exist. All successive 007's should acknowledge the ones that came before (starting with Daniel Craig who was a reboot of the original). So if Emily Blount is the next 007, she will be written as Daniel Craig's successor. If Idris Elba succeeds her, he might make references to the previous 007 being a woman, etc. I realize this would mean something of a departure from the books, but so what? If one actor did all the books, he'd have to start as James Bond fresh out of high school and he'd be filming the last book (there were 14 of them) in his 60's.
Some interesting choices The actors who i would pick for Bond would be Tom Hardy or Henry Cavill if not them an unknown actor who has good acting skills and can be convincing in terms of fighting skills he would have to be a British actor or even a Irish actor that can do a British sounding voice as for Idris Elba he is a good actor but he is too old to play Bond i know people will say well Roger Moore played him till he was 57 and Sean Connery till he was 53 (if you count Never Say Never Again) Pierce Brosnan was 49 when he did Die Another Day but the producers and some of the fans don't want to see Bond as an old guy also last but not least it would be a PC choice. As for Hiddleston he is also a good actor but a cannot see him playing a good guy he is good playing the bad guy in the Thor films Loki also he is not very strong physically. Also I hope they Don't get some American Actor it would ruin James Bond the americans have already got enough american spy films out there with Jason Bourne Mission Impossible Jack Ryan The Triple X films with Vin Diesel
I don't think they should simply gender swap Bond for a female bond. Bond was always written as a male character: he's essentially in many ways an idealistic man and in many ways certainly not, making him a very interesting character for we fellows to consider. If people are desperate for a female Bond, don't do it, but create a Bond-esque character for the ladyfolks. This isn't nursery: sharing every toy in our case will just devalue the toys. Creating a character specifically for women would not only be more engaging and interesting for the female viewership (as opposed to simply a titted Bond) but also keeps Bond as he is for us guys: as a mixture of some the best and most violent facets of being male. Food for thought
Henry Cavill and Idris are the best choices. Tom Hiddleston hasn't the face nor acting skill of a witty and emotionally damaged man. Emily Blunt would be a nice genderbend, but like the Ghost Buster movie would probably be hated just as much. The others are just awful ideas.
I like how everyone thinks that 007 never dies and doesn't need a replacement. At some point MI6 would need a replacement. Sending a 80-year-old on a suicide mission sounds like a bad idea!
Why a bisexual one? Bisexual people shouldn't need a bisexual James Bond just to feel empowered. The same way black kids shouldn't need a black president to know they can do great things. They keep James Bond "straight" because it's loyal to the source material. Changing him to bisexual would do nothing positive.
MY OPINION INCOMING:
My thoughts on who should be the next bond is as follows.

Because the producers want an actor that's - at least, mostly - known as James Bond. They don't want to compete with another franchise.
James Kennedy Makes sense I guess but I want Cavill as Bond.
Henry Cavil ftw he fits the part sooooo well
Tom Hardy or Henry Cavill! 🙌
Tom hiddleston would be the only bond I'll watch in cinema🙈
+Jared Leto Is it because you and Hiddleston look alike, Leto? Glad to see how Joker loves Loki, btw.
Dalek Who
Of course. The evil must stick together.
Do you want to join Dalek ? ^^
+Jared Leto tom hiddleston is just not a Bond though.. you need like a sean connery type charm. Not saying Tom doesnt have charm it just isn't a suit, guns, explosion, womanising type charm
razmataz13drums
Yeah I know what you mean^^
And you are right! Exept the suit ;P
+Jared Leto haha he is pretty unstoppable in a suit I give you that ;)
Henry Cavill, he's the best bet.
yeah he has the look
No female Bond please! That character wouldn't work as a woman. I vote for Henry Cavill or Tom Hiddleston. :)
Tom hiddlestone would make a good bond villain, Eddie red mane Q, and Henry cavill as bond
Or Damien Lewis as bond
Henry Cavill should be the obvious choice. The other considerations are awful when compared to past men who played the role of James Bond. And a female Bond??? How much coke did you guys sniff before considering that? Seriously? lol
Michael fassbender. Thats it. No one else
He would be great
Agree
Yup, he should be the only consideration.
+Jason Adler He ain't a brit :/
+Michael Brown neither was pierce brosnan
I like Idris Elba as an actor but he would not fit in the chracter type, it's like making black panther played but a white guy.

Tom Hardy and Henry Cavill would b the best
I agree!!
Redmayne and Hiddleston are too scrawny to play bond.
+Larry Phischman They can be like Q instead!
+Larry Phischman As much as I love Hiddleston, I have to agree with you. I vote Elba
+The_Howler elba looks too old tbh and I don't think he has the swag
I like Tom Hiddleston the best, but I think Tom Hardy would be a better Bond. Hardy can do that whole 'debonair one moment, slit your throat the next' thing that all the best Bonds have. Hiddleston just doesn't have that air of carefully contained violence - even when he's playing an evil character, he remains just a tiny bit... adorable.
Exactly, he’s mischievous. But how could we know? Hugh Grant is out of water, playing Jeremy Thorpe and was unbelievably good.
I don't know any of these actors, but just having seen them on this video, the only one who looks the part at all is Henry Cavill.
I vote Henry Cavill
What about Michael Fassbender ? ! Bond was once Irish, why not twice with this gorgeous and adorable man ?
+Héloïse Barsotti Brosnan was literally the worst Bond ever, that should disqualify any other paddy from attempting it ever again.
My favorite is Idris Elba, he combines strength, elegance and something I would call the look of a lonely wolfe. In 2016 isn't it time for a black James Bond?!

100%
+marjeena khatun 100%?
+101chickendance Too bad he was totally absent in Mad Max Fury Road. :/ _No_ presence at all.
Capt. Winters is a better choice.
+shepardbook ...agreed. Just they way they shaked things up with Daniel, i would live to see Tom be given a chance.
Micheal Fassbender or Henry Cavill. No question
I'm sorry but bond needs to be a very handsome, British white person only
This comment seems racist, tho u might not mean it like that, but i do see where ur coming from. However I think idris would make a very good bond
+Katy L it's not racist it's just correct, he's a white male character :/ it would be like making a black character to be played by a white man, it wouldn't be right

Trololololol
So wat i think he'd make a mint James bond cos he doesn't even look that old
Henry Cavill is the perfect James Bond!
No Black James Bond. I don't have Problems with Black people or Black actors, but Not ad Bond. Michael Fassbender would be the best Bond.
And a gooddamn woman as Bond? No way
" i am not racist, but ...." ... then says something racist
Mazin Elshazali Actually Not racist. Sorry but Do you know what is racist? that today, everyone goes to Africa in the desert, but stays in an european hotel, this is true racism. Mr. Comments we need a black Dr who then
Sulaymaan Qureshi Actually we need a white uncle tom
Screw it! I vote Ken Watanabe as James Bond filmed in Japanese. If we are going PC then lets do it right!
+Jocjabes hahahah
It's funny how folks are happy for Bond's actor to be Welsh, Irish, Scottish, and even Australian, but if you suggest that he could be played by someone with slightly more melanin, suddenly they're all "I'M NOT RACIST BUT-"
My only concern with Elba as Bond would be his age.
+Forever Alone Guy a black guy in London makes more sense then a white women as a leader in an African tribe.... But hey ! You tried!
+Amaritudine You can't be that much of a seasoned veteran. Bond is an Etonian from a Scottish aristocratic background, how can a black man play this? It simply would not be Bond anymore. And no a really am not racist, I don't want a white guy playing Nelson Mandela either.
+Caleb Howard A Black guy who is descended from the scottish aristocracy? We are not making Idi Armin's fantasy here.
I kinda like the idea of having Idris Elba as Bond. I know it never been made and all of the other Bond are white but the fact that it could bring something different is refreshing.
Also im not scared of the performance he would give us, he is a talented actor!!
Henry cavill or Mickael Fassenberg 4 me
I hope it's Tom Hardy or Henry Cavill, but on the subject of female Bonds, Natalie Dormer is my favourite
Why not bring in Emily Blunt as M.
YES
+fredrika27 Well, when I say Emily Blunt as M, I don't necessarily mean next year. I mean maybe in a decade or so.
Two decades and we got a deal! ;-)
+fredrika27 James Bond works for an MI organisation, based in London. So it makes perfect sense that most the actors are British/European. There's no point catering to international audiences by having an international cast for the sake of being PC. Noone complains about the lack of European actors in Asian films
Idris - Bond was not black
Tom- Too weak looking
Hardy-Possible candidate
Henry Cavill -Has everything , the most outstanding candidate and would make a great Bond
Lewis - a ginger Bond ? I don't think so
James bond black ?
James bond Women ?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!
I'm voting for Henry Cavill. He has Bond written all over him. I do hope the old James Bond persona returns though. Like the original James Bonds with Sean Connery and Roger Moore.
Tom Hardy Could Make James Bond An Anti-Hero
Tom Hiddleston Could Make James Bond Into More Emotional Bond They Could Remake OHMSS Starring Tom Hiddleston
If Michael Fassbender , I think he could pull off sean connery's Charm,
If Henry Cavill, He Could James Bond Into, Like Roger Moores Kind Hearted Bond Like from The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Clive Owen Will Make The More Greedier Brutal James Bond, its Like A Combination of Timothy Dalton And Daniel Craig
No female Bond would ever order the drink as cool as Craig
Henry Cavillllllllllllllll
The most comprehensive "Bond to be" list to date. I remember the controversy about Daniel being blond, and he turned out to be one of the best Bond so far. The next chapter could be quite interesting.
I vote for Graham Norton...now that would be a Bond to remember.
obviously Henry Cavill (Superman) there is no doubt about it he is perfect. his voice his face and he looks good in a tuxedo
I love Tom Hiddleston and also his idea of bringing more british charm in James Bond's films but i think he's perfect as loki...so i choose Idris Elba
I agree.
+Irene Captain Who needs Idris just keep to the Books, Idris is a great actor but not right.
The two worst choices ever. For one 007 isn't black, and two I don't think Hiddleston fits the character at all. I could maybe see him playing Q, but not 007.
+JESUSwithLIGHTSABERS Have you seen him in the Night Manager?
Kenneth Bowry
No, I haven't. I'll have to check that out.
I'm all for Henry Cavill at the moment. Michael Fassbender might fit the role as well.
I'm a huge Hiddleston fan and he would be amazing. But I would hate to see someone different as Loki. So either Idris Elba or Henry Cavill it is...
I want tom hardy for bond and Nolan to direct
The two most popular choices are Michael Fassbender or Henry Cavill.
I would not like to see a woman as James Bond... Rather a new francies with a female spy (made propper)
+bandholm Would have liked to see what could have been done with Michelle Yeoh's character from Die Another Day.
+shepardbook They initially hoped to do that with Halle Berry's character from 'Die Another Day'. I guess the film (and Jinx as a character) simply weren't popular enough, so mercifully we were spared a 'forced spinoff franchise' attempt.
Evie inded... A proper spy movie, that stands on it's own
+Amaritudine I believe, after Tomorrow Never Dies, either the producers or the studio went to Michelle to see if she'd be interested in reprising Wai Lin in her own movie(s), but she declined. Feel free to correct me if this is incorrect.
+bandholm Emily Blunt as Cate Archer in No One Loves Forever.
How about Benedict Cumberbatch?
+MyLifeAsLouis Too weedy and geeky. He'd have made an incredible Q though!
Tom Hiddleston is too much of a gentleman to play Bond in my opinion so I choose between Idros Elba or Henry Cavill
TOM HIDDLESTON
Henry Cavill is very Bond! Or Matt Bomer, but he's American. I guess they'll try to change up the character again. Just like they did hiring Craig. And I think it worked out really well, so I'm looking forward for who's coming next ;).
James "007" Bond is and always must be a white guy. No apologies.
I personally think audience need a change , a massive change so idris elba fit the role for now
I've liked all of the "Bonds" through the years, but Daniel Craig has been my favorite.
*fans self*
Henry Cavill for the next James bond!!
I'd be behind caville or Elba as both seem good choices and as for the race thing bonds a rank and code name nothing more that's why he's so sporadic between actors
YOU should be a Bond girl. You would be great!
I say either Clive Owen, Michael Fassbender, Henry Cavill , Tom Hiddleston, or Armie Hammer. Those are my top 5 people that I think would make a great James Bond.
I want Michael Fassbender as Bond
I want a Harry/Eggsy type of relationship with Elba as the old 007 passing the torch to Cavill and becoming M at the end of the adventure
Henry Cavill is too pretty. It felt like I was having a heart attack every time he got punch in the face in the Superman movies. That beautiful face!! Tom Hardy should be the next bond.
Henry Cavill would be the obvious choice for the next James Bond he has charm, the smart good looks and is a great actor.
Tom hiddleston I wrote this seconds before she said it
If they go female, they shouldn't make any pretense that she is "Jane Bond" or try to pretend that she's always been 007.
Michael Fassbender
Two years late but I pray it’ll be Idris Elba! He’s an insanely talented and amazing actor!!!!!!!
Aidan turner he is so gorgeous
Some interesting choices
The actors who i would pick for Bond would be
Tom Hardy or Henry Cavill if not them an unknown actor who has good acting skills and can be convincing in terms of fighting skills he would have to be a British actor or even a Irish actor that can do a British sounding voice
as for Idris Elba he is a good actor but he is too old to play Bond i know people will say well Roger Moore played him till he was 57 and Sean Connery till he was 53 (if you count Never Say Never Again) Pierce Brosnan was 49 when he did Die Another Day but the producers and some of the fans don't want to see Bond as an old guy also last but not least it would be a PC choice.
As for Hiddleston he is also a good actor but a cannot see him playing a good guy he is good playing the bad guy in the Thor films Loki also he is not very strong physically.
Also I hope they Don't get some American Actor it would ruin James Bond the americans have already got enough american spy films out there with
Jason Bourne
Mission Impossible
Jack Ryan
The Triple X films with Vin Diesel
Tom Hiddleston PLEASE
Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender
Henry hands down.
AIDAN TURNER. Born to do it.
Michael Fassbender.
Making Bond black will kill the series
sincere question: why exactly do you think so? i personally would love to see a black bond.
A real life neckbeared holy shit.
Doesn't matter.....series died long ago.
hes right though, the character of bond is white, not black. All the other movies have him as white, it would be a huge in-continuity.
Hello??? Aidan Turner anybody??? C'mon!
Don't worry. #AidanTurnerforBond
OMG Henry! He's just PERFECTION! Best good looking British actor EVER!
Not Idris Elba. Not now, not ever.
My votes go to Henry Cavill and Nicholas Hoult.
+BF31 they are too young
Bojo (Borgis Johnson) should be James Bond!!!!!!!!!
Boris**
Henry Cavill has had my vote since he was in The Tudors!
But Daniel Craig is better....
elba or cavil would be perfect
you said the most in English thing ever "movie" the word makes my skin crawl ITS A FILM!
It's a film
+SirMaxwellOf Day Wait movie is used more in America
Lucky210309 Doesn't stop it being a "Bond Film". That phrase is so engrained in our culture
I KNOW!!!!!!!!!
I for one was shocked that she swapped words that are entirely interchangeable and mean the same thing.
Tom Hardy would be perfect! But I also would live to see Henry Cavill or Tom Hiddleston. Though they both don't really look like a Bond.
Eddie Redmayne would make a good Q
I like how everyone thinks that 007 never dies and doesn't need a replacement. At some point MI6 would need a replacement. Sending a 80-year-old on a suicide mission sounds like a bad idea!
What about Michael Fassbander? BTW, the next bond doesn't have to British, he just needs an accent!
Henry Cavill or maybe Roger Moore's grandson.
What about Benedict Cumberbatch????
Aidan Turner. He's slaying it on the Poldark reboot and has the look for Bond.
I want a bisexual Bond (no gender preference).
Cool that you at least think of all those things, but I just want it for funs!
I would love for Henry Cavill to be the next Bond.
Idris Elba
Earlier of today, I was so sad when this video was not made available for my country!! Thanks god it is all good now
