Ross cannot STFU - it’s all about him every time.
Frank Machin He’s the real life Alan Partridge.
the guy's a prick
I believe that was his schtick in this segment.
Took the words right out of my mouth
Jonathan Woss
Wow - his Roger Moore & Pierce Brosnan were fantastic.
Steve Coogan does excellent impressions of Bond,James Bond.. Meanwhile Wossy without even realising it turns into Alan Partridge
I thought that when he said you sound like James Bond who had a stroke 🤣
Ginger Time Lord that is exactly right and a good way of putting it, thanks
Jonathan Ross stepping on all the jokes and sabotaging a genius at work
He tries to make it all about him
Jonathan Woss can't hold a candle to Coogan's talent
He is an arse. Can’t watch his show.
Yes First thought too! What a fool
He is an allrounder. Talented actor, comedian, impressionist.
0:28 Roger Moore
0:52 Sean Connery
2:00 Timothy Dalton
2:47 Pierce Brosnan
Roger Moore died first from the batch of Bonds. Now Connery’s dead, who’s next to die?
You're doing God's work here. Thanks
0:31 Roger Moore
0:55 Sean Connery
2:03 Timothy Dalton
2:48 Pierce Brosnan
If you wanna skip Jonathan Ross.
@@themechanic.9545please don't let it be Dalton. I don't think my Mum would cope!
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Graham Norton is such a massive star.
His Connery sounded like Connery post Bond career. His Roger Moore was perfect as was his Pierce Brosnan. To be fair to him no one can do Dalton's voice.
Dalton's voice is vanilla. There's nothing remotely unusual about it for an impressionist to get their teeth in to. Dalton has no quirks or mannerisms either.
I’d say Connery is easiest to do, but I bet that Coogan has watched so much Moore that he can just do that voice perfectly
"Stop getting Bond wrong!"
“Arrest me, I’m a slasher. Of prices! My discounts are criminal.
Simon Skinner, manager of the local supermarché!”
Those lines are the way in to do Dalton.
What if you were Timothy Dalton?
Ross is such control freak
.Ego the size of a warehouse
"Ego the size of a warehouse" making up for a wang the size of a worm.
I'd believe it if you said "Amazon warehouse."
and all that while being a talentless hack
The impressions of Pierce Brosnan and Sir Roger Moore were the best
Poor Steve what he’s enduring.
I remember seeing this and thinking the Timothy Dalton was bad, but having watched all bonds during my lockdowns 'a bond film a night' it actually took me by surprise how accurate the Timothy Dalton impression was. The line is half way through License to Kill after Bond is saved by the villain Sanchez, but the way even Dalton says it feels odd like a regional-ad-lib response rather than something I imagine Roger Moore or the others saying. Coogan almost nails it second time
Ha ha.....love the dedication !
“Things we’re about to turn out nasty” that’s the line
That would have been great if it hadnt been for JR
Yes,and who is Pierce Bwosnan ? ha ha ha
I find wossy so anniying !
oh yes.But Steve Coogan is great.
Love coogan just reading I Partridge for the fifth time
Yes.Good stuff.
timothy Dalton: "the names bond, JONES the bond. license to kill-sch!"
Pierce Brosnan was so good
2:44 AMAZING duck impression
At the vewy least Woss can impewsonate a duck, I'll give him that
The Roger Moore was excellent!
Ross is a plonker. Coogan is very talented.
Coogan is talented. His BAFTA speech was so funny. He nailed what society has become....absolutely pathetic, in other words.
The noise Jonathan Ross made at 2:44 sounded like a duck
+95Grumple You are so right!!!! i was dying in that part :)
nearly spat my fucking coffee all over my computer hahahaha
And at 0:46 QUACK! 🤣🤣
U mean a f Dick
His name is 'dipshit' the duck.
God bless this man. What a talent! I wish globally adored performers like Tom Cruise would relax and partake in such interactions. We can learn SO MUCH from you Sirs!
His Roger Moore was 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✊!
The best speech imitation was the Roger Moore voice. Hilarious piece of entertainment.
Hi Dalton was good people just don't know him as well as the others - he was spot on with ALL of them!! Especially Rodger Moore.
Pierce Brosnan was SPOT ON!!!
Dalton is definitely the hardest to do in terms of easily-recognizable tics.
I can kinda do his voice, I can do Daniel Craig’s better though I think, I can also kinda do Sean’s too ish
He did Dalton bad 😂😂 he sounded really nervous doing it as if even he knows himself he can’t do dalton haha but was put on the spot
Omg Jonathan was so annoying in this.
As usual......he doesn't seem very bright.
mistyblueeyes totally agree, wrecked this feature....
Egotistic+
He was bloody awful in the new Takeshi’s Castle Show.
mistyblueeyes Jonathan Ross is always annoying. Perhaps because he’s got to interview people who have more talent in their little finger than he will ever have?
Johnathon Ross reeks of insecurity in this video.
Coogan’s Dalton sounds like Alan Bennett! Lol.BTW I love Steve.
These are outrageously good, especially Roger Moore
Fr
Steve Coogan has such a wonderful voice.
He' s hot ♥️
Fantastic Steve Coogan . Best . impressions .
Ross obviously just didn't know what Timothy Dalton sounded like, because I just looked up a video and it was actually pretty spot on.
Senor Studly the tone was all wrong. Get your ears checked.
The Moore & Brosnan's are great
Jonathan Ross,....I thought David Letterman used to get in the way of his guests. Shut up and let him do it already. Sheesh.
You are so right. He steels the thunder from Steve Coogan, and try to take the credit. He can´t even pronounce the letter "R".
Steve is excelent though.
Jonathan Woss is worse than Letterman! He takes the piss out of all his guests and really does his best to make a fool out of them!
Timothy Dalton was brought up in Derbyshire hence the accent - and flat vowels in Licence To Kill!
Great impersonations, but who's this obnoxious Ross guy?
Steve Coogan one of, if not the best impressionist I've ever heard. Culshaw Yarwood my arse!!!
The last one was my favorite 👍💯
What a host- incessantly reminds everyone the bit is about him and undermines the spontaneity.
Stop getting bond wrong!
Lol
He did Sean Connery‘s Bond very well.
My mind was screaming out, 'how about we do it like in rehearsal??'
First time I’ve seen this Ross character. What a pain in the arse!
Ross reminds me of the character Lewis Prothero from "V for Vendetta". I keep expecting him to say "England Prevails!" after every sentence.
His Dalton made me laugh the most.
His Brosnan is the best.
WTF!!! Coogan is SO talented!
I really don't understand why or how Jonathon Ross has been on television for 30 years. He's annoying and just not funny.
Jonathan Woss! :D
He's a twatt, probably bent over producers desks to keep the job
I'm surprised Ross didn't scream "STOP GETTING BOND WRONG!!"
His pierce was spot on
'They do it on purpose Lynn'
Steve is brilliant; Sir Sean Connery and Sir Roger Moore were the best 👌🏻👌🏻🇬🇧🇬🇧
You can tell Steve is getting annoyed with Jonathan! Seriously Jonathan.. just.. let Steve do his impressions and just keep your gob shut.
Can't you tell that Jonathan is fucking around? He's not being serious
I know he is, just I can tell Steve was getting annoyed :/ He just wouldn't let Steve prepare himself.
+Daisy Chambers steve and john are really good friends, they always piss about with eachother
It was funny the first time, but he stretched it out way too far to the point of being irritating.
Yeah, I agree. I used to like Jonathan, he used to be so funny, but now he's got a bit cocky with guests. I know its nice to have a bit of confidence, but he's unfunny when he tries so hard. I just wish he'd be a bit more humble.
Ross is the Fallon of Britain. Also the Pierce was fantastic
JR is just awful.
Its so impressive. He not only sound like them, but he looks like them too.
Brilliant Steve, hard to match! Next contestant step up...
I was disappointed nobody shouted "STOP GETTING BOND WRONG"
I once heard a comedian talk about what wouldn't happen to James Bond, especially the Connery version. Where the villain would sit in the back seat, and you hear Connery's voice: "Why don't you come sshit next to me?" Sadly, I don't remember the comedian.
Ironically, Ian McKellen was the beast.
That was like the bonus impersonation, and it was, in fact "beast".
Continually interrupting the man during his impressions was not only RUDE but pointless given the fact the image of the actor is shown the ON THE SCREEN! Not funny at all....probably explains this shows (and other British talk shows) obvious CANNED LAUGHTER...the audience isn't laughing "loud enough" because it isn't that funny.
Ross is awful. Check out Graham Norton or Craig Ferguson.
His pearce. Is top shelf
Dalton's was hysterical.
They were getting annoyed with each other. 😂
Just amazing job Steve Bravo
That’s impressive
JR should be put in a special reverberating chamber where every word he says will endlessly echo at 80 decibels. That'll teach hm!
He talks just so we could hear him say Woger Moo-ah
What's wrong with you people? His Dalton was spot on! What this really needed was a better line of dialogue, or shipping forecast or just something, anything amusing to say in each voice.
It didnt sound anything like TD lol
What a heck of a mimic Steve Coogan is! Incidentally so is Rob Brydon...
Coogan was the backbone of Spitting Image for many years, along with Harry Enfield, Chris Barrie, Phil Cornwell (DJ Dave Clifton from Alan Partridge), Kate Robbins, Hugh Dennis, Rory Bremner, Enn Reitel, Alistair McGowan & Jan Ravens being some of the many who assisted.
That Pierce Brosnan is eerily accurate...
Ross stepped on Coogan. I would have told him to get stuffed.
His Dalton is shocking
he's warming up on Dalton.
Amazing.
Ross was being a bit of an arse here.
Just a bit? A lot!
So he was being his normal self then...
Ross gonna Ross
When isn't he an arse?
He Should have said " I got a random bond selection and I would like you to do your best At impersonating each of the bonds while I interrupt you and Screw this whole bit up."
Love you, Steve
Getting the impression from the comments on here that Jonathan Ross' grandstanding. Coogan visibly pissed off.
always noticed that dalton said nasty like that. glad i wasnt the only one who picked up on it.
Ha do you mean when he is talking to Shanshez (cant spell that) I licence to kill. Makes me laugh every time. Sounds like a scouser!
love these
Could Ross do an impression of shutting up?
Amazing!!!
Timothy Dalton actually did sound like that
He should have done Dalton as the Welsh one 'Tha names Bond, Jones tha Bond. Double o'theven...'
This whole thing is beautifully choreographed in the Alan Partridge style. Two incredibly talented entertainers.
It was spontaneous, not choreographed. That's why it sparkles.
Steve literally saw Alan partridge in front of his eyes
JR "Don't do it until I press the button" - actual meaning, "look at me, look at me", Arse.
Is there anyone on this earth who comes anywhere close to being as annoying ( in every way) as Jonathan Ross?
James Corden
Johnno NB probably you
I often found him very iwwitating myself, lol
Piers Morgan.
Jimmy Fallon sometimes
His Pierce Is underrated!
Jonathan Ross was talented in about 1988.
He's good but his best was Roger Moore.
+Lon Tanner By far.
Nah, it was Brosnan.
definitly
His roger Moore is pretty good
He can't do Lazenby. Mind you, I'm not even sure Lazenby can do Lazenby.
wasn't LAZENBY just doing a bad CONNERY !! post stroke !!?
Lazenby couldn't do Bond to be fair to him
“This never happened to the other fella”
To be fair, Dalton delivers the line " things could have turned out very nasty" as Coogan does it, with a northern accent. However, throughout the rest of the film his accent is more standard BBC!
Just stumbled cross this video.... JR.....What a fuckin' waaaaaanker!
RIP Sean Connery.
Timothy Dolton was a very good bond
Is that Jonathan Rhys Meyers just chilling on the couch?
You can see the resignation in Coogan's eyes but he has to play the publicity game like everyone else.
