I know an old fella that made cedar closet liner for years. He squared them up on the circle saw and sent them strait to the Morgan resaw. Always look forward to y’all’s videos.

Hey there buddy how are ya? From this video I’m thinking you and the family are doing great!!! I sure do enjoy your channel. Hard working young folks making it happen, old school style! Love the circle saw that thing is so cool! I sure wish I had time to do more sawing, I’ve gotta long list of stuff I gotta do before the snow flys again. A fella at church asked me to go saw some oak slabs I really don’t know how much to charge. Nobody up on the mountain wants to travel for jobs. Any way thank you soo much for sharing. I like the sky hook y’all installed on the circle mill, I’m gonna put one in when I build my saw mill shed. God bless you and the family there buddy.

I think Brittany should do more talking in the videos. You are lucky to have her and ya'll seem to work together great. I am 42 and grew up working on the farm with my Grandpa and Grandma everyday. They got married when they where teenager's and worked together there whole lives. They raised 6 children and never had public jobs. I think we need more people in this country working together as a family to make the family's living. You become alot less dependent on the system and have the ability to shift what you are doing as things change. I

I have always been the talker (Tyler). Brittany is quiet. Probably one of the many reasons we pair well together! We love working together!

We do a lot of Texas Mountain Cedar which is really Ashe Juniper. Good seeing another sawyer go to work and having a hard working female sawyer, like us, is also empowering for the younger generation!

Do you ever cut cedar strips for building a cedar strip canoe? Looks like you have the operation that could do that.

Well done Wallace Farms. I’m Gabe writing from Africa and I need an advice from you please. I’m planning to start up a sawmill but the problem is that the material I am cutting isn’t a conventional wood or log but it’s a giant grass. Palm oil trees actually that comprises of vascular bundles.
However they aren’t sawn to get the best material out as you will with a wooden material. They have to be sawn in polygon shapes. That’s from number 5 upwards. I thought about getting getting an industrial bandsaw but I discovered I will be greatly impeded and process will be very limiting as I’d have to set the logs in shape always to get a precise polygon cut. Looked up series of videos on UA-cam on the best way to get that shape with a sawmill and bumped into this wonderful piece of sawmill that I fill can deliver what I want. Please I need some heads up about the ease and possibilities of getting polygon cuts from this sawmill. Thank you 🙏

On our circle sawmill? I would guess you could rig up some type of jig, that would make for perfect cuts in that shape!

@@wallacefarmandsawmill Thank you for your reply. But what could you mean by ‘ rig up some type of jig ? I’d like to get a full dose from you about it if possible sir. Thank you.

Hey guys. I've been enjoying your videos for the past few months I did have a question though. What do you do with the stuff that I believe you call sideboards AKA the cuts you get when you're first starting on a log that have some lumber on them but the bark as well is there a market for those or do you grind them or burn them or what
