Thanks for the hard working demonstration . Ive seen the video on the 40 and I'm sure that You appreciate the 40 in comparison to the 15 . Ive also looked at the Norwood brand but am impressed with the Wood Mizer . Yall really work hard together. Ive watched a group out of Florida that getting Bigger and mostly into slabs etc for furniture and are making their 40' × 40' × 14' into a AC and heated shop . Yall deserve something like their setup , GOD BLESS You Both and be Safe !!!
Great video. Nice treat seeing Mrs. Brittney getting out of her shyness and doing some of the talking. A man that has a wife that is willing to get out and work with him is a lucky man now days. I saw someone else's saw the other day that had a bucket under the sawdust chute that rides along with the saw. They dumped it into a bulk container so they could pick it up with their tractor later and dump it away from the saw. I love the dog. Thanks as always for bringing us along.
Not that far away. I'm in Maryville, East TN. Love wood working so what you guys are doing fits what I like, but I got into making things out of rough cut after I retired. Baby bed was my first. Maybe pictures later. After a couple of "Stress Heart attacks" in the office, I started taking it easy in my wood shop. Anyway, you two have a fan up here. Watch is all I do any more.
Great video guys. Love to watch the Woodmizer getting it done guys. That was a lot of cuts guys. 38" pine......dang guys that is hug log guys. Well guys, I gotta go guys. But despite you saying guys every 20 seconds in your videos I'm still going to watch your videos guys. Just messing with you, but you sure do say guys a lot 😁
I am new to your channel and am enjoying the videos. Great teamwork, but u'all need to wear some gloves. I realize it was hot weather, but a retired doctor told me a long time ago that I should try wear gloves to help save my hands. He said that in the long run of being a person that works with their hands, it will help with health. It is hard work working around a sawmill, but rewarding when you see the lumber. I worked with a sawyer years ago and he was a great friend that I learned something about sawing logs. That green end of the saw was some of the hardest work and rates in my top 5 hardest jobs. U'all take care and God bless...
First time viewer. Liked the video and subscribed. Keep em coming. It's good to have a great helper and friend. Blessings to you both. Prayers for your safety, strength, health, wisdom and success. ☝️🙏🙌🇺🇸💪🎯
I wonder if they could make sawbands with teeth ON BOTH sides, then you could saw forwards AND backwards, or is that a stupid idea? Oh, there I see that you HAVE a saw sharpener at 13:55 ! Nifty. I had a question about that earlier, now I see it in your video. Awesome!
The older I get...the less I like giant logs on my manual mill. TYG for my skid steer and clam attachment. I'll pick the big ones right off the mill and rotate them on the ground on 2x4 runners.
When you sawed through the bolt you could have turned the cant with the bolt in it and the saw would run on each side of the cut off bolt and still get all 12’ boards
Where does getting going with a saw mill as well. Going to make something to pull the sawdust back so it's easier to load up into the bucket. Some kind of attachment that goes to the loader. wouldn't be a bad idea
If you got a nylon strap and choked the log down low, just like your doing with the hook, y’all wouldn’t have any hook holes in your lumber. Just a thought,,,

Nice video! I really enjoy seeing good husband and wife teamwork.
I am 97% sure i just watched this video a few weeks ago.
It shows being not liked
So I'll watch it again.
Good thinking!

hahahhaaha I thought the same. Brittney said more than I've heard her ever say in the first 4 mins. That's alright she's a worker not a talker.
Brit is a vital part of your business and you need to say we instead of i all the time.
You want to appreciate Brittany. She's your money maker. Without her you would have to work day and night to get things done
She's worth her weight in gold
Great video

❤ ur videos. I miss sawmillng
Big and wide woodmizer really looks nice and is really great to have a good helper also , been a long hot and humid summer indeed
I like watching you all sawing logs so keep up the good work
That was a monster log. I like the method you used to turn that big log. Great job, guys getting it milled!
Thanks 👍
I guess 58 boards. I like your Saw and you guys well as a Team

Good video and good job.....and yes it is very HOT out here........I'm out side of WACO Tx's
Wow I guessed60. Good work you too.
My guess is 74, that’s my age so it sounds good to me. Nice sawing Tyler!!
Was super close!
Great video. I learn something every video I watch of you guys.
Thanks for watching!

Super Video 👍Grüsse aus Germany
THANKS!
You're welcome!
Wish I knew the length, but im going to assume 16'.
Doyle says 625 BF and a 1x6x16' is 8 BF. So my guess is 78 boards.
Love your southern accent.
Good video ! Like the music . Great job again!
Glad you like it!
Awesome video thanks
Wow-some-setup
Good video.
Hi from Sandersville,MS I jst found yourchannel and subscribed immediately, Great videos, keep em coming
Thanks for joining along!
The real star of the show is that little Kubota. It doesn’t even have a counter weight on the back. 😳
Tires are water ballast.
I'm impressed with the hydraulics and the way the Kubota handles those logs.
Great video, hitting nails, wire, cable and bolts stinks, great turn.
Nice video and good job. This heat is getting about unbearable. Take care and have a blessed and safe weekend and try to keep cool
Thanks, you too!
My people are from Sturgis and Longview. I live in middle Ga and it is hot, good work
Thanks for watching!
Like Curly Howard would TRY to say, "Let a man that can see saw, see?" 😂😂😂
You should put all your end cuts and short pieces on the mill and saw them into pallet wood
Great video! Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
hi there great sawing john
Thanks for watching!
It’s amazing how many board feet you can get out of a log.
That was a nice stick of wood, make a lot of toothpicks lol.
I like to be close with a load of logs.

Great video 💯
Great video, new sub here. I'll be watching more
Thanks for subbing!

Great T E A M😊
Your cat claw looks to be a very good investment if you are sawing much
The older I get...the less I like giant logs on my manual mill. TYG for my skid steer and clam attachment. I'll pick the big ones right off the mill and rotate them on the ground on 2x4 runners.
It’s about needed!
He’s a young pup! Lol
nice 😊
you need a 4x4 under the small end
Did you get a different mill after this video was posted?
Brittany is still always right. Never argue with a good wife
When you sawed through the bolt you could have turned the cant with the bolt in it and the saw would run on each side of the cut off bolt and still get all 12’ boards
What do you do with all the cut off that are unuseable
What do you do with all the cut offs and short pieces.
Great video guys, that was one big log!👍🏻
Yes it was!
I was thinking 35
Made my calculation at about 3 mins in so I think I might have won Ha Ha. Nice work and aint that auto feed awsome.
Ha ha!
Should have made the contest a little more interesting, and asked how many toothpicks could you get out of that log?!?! (Ha!Ha!)
Where does getting going with a saw mill as well. Going to make something to pull the sawdust back so it's easier to load up into the bucket. Some kind of attachment that goes to the loader. wouldn't be a bad idea
I have had to use the tractor to take the log completely off the saw so I could turn it so I could get two flat sides
All your short pieces of logs i would put them on the mill and make pallet wood so they don't get wasted
when it's so hot in the day work early in the morning 3 o'clock to 10:30 am then take siesta work afternon after wind debris comes
where in Mississppi are you located if you don't mind
Whoa, a HUGE 38" pine log! 🌲🔪 This is going to be an exciting challenge! We would love to connect and collaborate with you.
I must say your helper looks better than T.H.E. Eddie Horvath
What do you do if you have a log too big for the mill
how long was the bolt that grew in the log
Do metal detectors work to finds those metal bolts.
Looks about like 60. Do you not try and clean some of the dirt off these logs. Might help with wear and tear on the blades?
Brit "That's a big log right there." :-| Not sure how she said that with a straight face.
I’m going with 70
52 Tyler buddy
I’m curious… do you hit lead bullets? I’m sure you do. Does the lead hurt the saw?
Lead doesn’t seem to hurt much.
I’m going with 55
During your PM time ,why don’t you blow out the back of the motor fan shield .
I live in Meridian, a little south of you and you are right it is hotttt. I almost did not play golf last week, heat and humidity was tough.
Makes working harder!
Hurricane rains stay away !
Where is your hearing protection. But thank you for another great video
❤
A 4 inch block under the small end might have helped. But nice work!
Indeed!
38 - 1"x 6" boards
30
Hey buddy how are ya? Always nice to spend time with y’all. I’m thinking between 80 and a 100?? Thanks for sharing
Close! 97 degrees with 65% humidity
If you got a nylon strap and choked the log down low, just like your doing with the hook, y’all wouldn’t have any hook holes in your lumber. Just a thought,,,
how many horses does your tractor have?
60hp
Do you have ballast in the rear tires on your tractor?
Yes liquid.
How much time did it take the two of you to get this done?
Like 1 hour or so.
Ended up like right at 500bf total.
Why didn't you turn that log on the flat side instead of on that note
Ha don’t work that young lady to hard you need her god bless WP
I heard somewhere that you had to be certified to sharpen blades, is that true?
No!
I think 80
56 1x6s Britt 61 Husband 71
55boards out of that log I think
18.5 inch can’t so roughly 54 1x6’s
@15:31
51
A grapple on a skidsteer/Bobcat and you would have picked that log out in one move.
54
75 1x6's from this log
