Holy frickin crap. Let's have a conversation about that, we got some stuff to get into. Let's roll the tape. Imagine calling yourself "counter-culture" while you got Dick Cheney and Taylor Swift as your biggest endorsements
Man Lori held her own. The harmony vocals all of it were written and performed by the best in the musical world And Lori nailed it Beautiful song Well done
Excellent!......The most Beautiful love song sung by Lorrie Morgan and The Beach Boys........ Every time I listen........I just love it 💖.......more than before...........so beautiful........
I remember seeing much higher quality unedited resolutions of this song at least five years ago on YT. I'm not sure where they disappeared to? Damn editors! This song always reminds me of Sissy🤣🤣
It's so cool to see Mike Love sing back up vocals on this beautiful Brian Wilson song. MS. Morgan stepped up to the lead and just nailed it. My God that woman can sing. Also I love Brian's falsettos.
Holy frickin crap. Let's have a conversation about that, we got some stuff to get into. Let's roll the tape. Imagine calling yourself "counter-culture" while you got Dick Cheney and Taylor Swift as your biggest endorsements
A superb rendition of a beautiful classic. I remember this song well. I have loved it since the first time I heard it on the radio. Ms. Morgan did a fantastic job.
Lori Morgan's dad is George Morgan who, in my opinion was one of the greatest country singers in the good old days. He was also inducted into the Hall of Fame. God bless you Lori. You are as beautiful as your music and your Dad is proud of you!
Its still my favorite after all this time - every time I listen to it - Lorrie (beautiful voice) + plus Beach Boys harmony (best ever) unbeatable! It puts me at ease (lost for words). -- to Brian Wilson 👍👍👍👍
Love this version. I generally don't like covers but Lorrie nailed it. Never heard of her before this video. Seems very genuine, great voice, is very pretty -and she has the best back up singers : )
L M - Lorrie Morgan is a Country singer. She was among the top artists who were a part of the 1985 "Hot Country" movement when, to my ears, Country became a perfect blend of Country, Pop, and R&B. It attracted many new fans like myself who weren't crazy about Country & Western. It's also the era that brought Country Line Dancing into popularity. Hot Country continued into the early 2000's. I loved it then and still do. I'm proud to say that Lorrie Morgan is still among my favorite artists. I have every one of her CDs and love them all!
This is SO GREAT! It's very very hard to cover a Beach Boys song and not have it come off sounding, "Meh... the original was better". But she does a superb job! I also love the little shtick where she counts off the song and breaks into that huge smile at the beginning when the Beach Boys start the intro/backing vocals. It's as though she's thinking what we're thinking, "Oh my God... They are so good. I am so lucky to be singing this with them!"
I love this version of the song Lorrie has such a beautiful voice she is one great singer that deserves more credit for her beauty and her voice love you Lorrie
There are words that remain silent in the power sound of a beautiful melody, the impact caused have their own fragrance, written words from the heart, without fear of ridicule. There are stories that remain in suspense and phrases whispered with finesse, Don´t worry baby....thank you Lorrie, thank you Brian for this song.
This is my favorite BB song, and Lorrie is my favorite female county singer, so this is a win/win for me!! I love them both. ❤ This is an absolutely beautiful version, so well done!
Adrian Connew You got it! People who read faces is what this is all about. She grew up in that era of music of the heart. The faces of the guys around her is what THIS song is all about too.
I truly believe Lorrie Morgan and The Beach Boys could have teamed up to sing the telephone book and it would have been wonderful...God, I love this song... this music...this magic
An exceptional collaborative effort, an almost perfect coupling of lead vocals and background vocals that makes you wonder why there's not an album out there with this combo.
Check out Maggie Adams singing lead on this song with Foxes & Fossils. Her voice is so sweet and pure it brings tears to my eyes. The backing vocals and the musicians are no less than outstanding
Love it.. amazing talent..just heard this for the first time and i can't stop listening to it! Beautiful! She is an added bonus to the Beach Boys who we grew up with..wondering why I never heard this before now?
Absolutamente um clássico. Já ouvi inúmeras vezes e adoro. Conheci com 16 anos e até hj, faz parte da minha vida. Obrigado Lorrie Morgan e The Beach Boys!!!
Found this cover years ago, still find myself coming back to listen. I always wonder what kind of energy an " outsider " is going to bring to a classic, and in this case Lorrie finds her groove and the Boys are taking her to another level with this. What a fantastic remake of a timeless classic.
Que lindo 💖 ver essa cantora gravando com essa banda fantástica eles fizeram muitos sucessos nós anos 50 e 60 foram ofuscados pelo surgimento dos Beatles.
Don't Worry Baby Don't Worry Baby" is a song by American rock band the Beach Boys from their March 1964 album Shut Down Volume 2. Written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian, Wilson's lead vocal on the track is considered one of his defining performances, and he later referred to "Don't Worry Baby" as perhaps the Beach Boys' finest record.🎸🎷🥁🎶❤️
What a fantastic version, she looks great and liking the Beach Boys singing backup is amazing...I think it was good for both of them to do this....a song for 2020 as well......
This surprised me when I saw it in a side bar when I was looking for The Beach Boys' version of this. Surprised me even more when I heard it. The Beach boys were great, and I've heard her sing country stuff before, but her voice really mixed beautifully with the others in this. Great post, thanks.
We lived in the desert. Had a local who kept the tv going with a four dollar a month donation. We did it and got pbs. Caught it and recorded it on cassette and surprised and saddened to not find Tammy Wynette in my room when we bught the cd......
People get fixed on her looks and miss how great a vocalist she could be when she was on point. I love her vibrato and phrasing on this tune and having the nerve to tackle something that stands on the highest level of contemporary music.
Right you are. I got "fixed" on her voice (on the radio) and then got a look at her; well, she's a doll, what can you say? I, too, like her vibrato on this recording --- it's tight, not sloppy and loose like some voices. Yep, she's a lot more than a pretty face.
texas good comment. never heard her before this but all respect for a great rendition of a great song. i think mike love was "fixed on her looks" but i would never have let him near my daughter!
Brian Wilson singing back up on his own song. Now that's class.
Absolutely a classic. A phenomenal voice.
I'm in a band called THE CATS and we play this song. Love playing this one.
Country music is loaded with beautiful women with beautiful voices but this one is near the top with both.
Yep. She's something.
You can't go wrong when the Beach Boys are your backup vocals❤ This is wonderful!
This was for a tribute album to the Beach Boys
Yeah, but she comes in late all over the place, just sayin'
No one has ever matched the harmony of the Beach Boys; just amazing. I love the smile on Lori's face when she hears them come in.
@cindykrista I'd definitely put them in the top 5.
Ever heard of The Everly Brothers?
Or the Carpenters
That an ah ha moment when you have the beach boys backing up your vocals on there song.. it must have felt like a dream to her...
Has anyone else noticed Mike Love"s lecherous body language when he looks at her ?
Never get tired of this rendition.
This song has some of the most beautiful vocal harmonies ever recorded.
Holy frickin crap. Let's have a conversation about that, we got some stuff to get into. Let's roll the tape.

She totally changed the tone and ambiance from 60s SoCal to contemporary country. Love it.
Man Lori held her own.
The harmony vocals all of it were written and performed by the best in the musical world
And Lori nailed it
Beautiful song
Well done
One of the most sincere renditions I've ever heard...cherished every note! Thank you Lorrie Morgan and the Beach Boys!!!
Try a listen to Billy Joel’s cover. Comes close….but something special with The Beach Boys in the background.

Just a terrific duet ...Lori kills it..And the Lords of Harmony are always legendary...
Duet? There's like 5 Beach Boys singing with her. That's more than a duet Scooter.
Fantastic version of a great song.👍
Her smile when the Harmony's first start, she knows who she singing with.
It's so cool to see Mike Love sing back up vocals on this beautiful Brian Wilson song. MS. Morgan stepped up to the lead and just nailed it. My God that woman can sing. Also I love Brian's falsettos.

The very best find on youtube is this video.........Fantastic!
There has never been a female country singer as great as Lorrie Morgan.
A simply superb song.....the combination of her strong but gentle voice with the BB harmonies.....magic!
Normally wouldn’t touch cover versions but this is on another planet. What a voice & with the Beech Boys doesn’t get any better.
Listen to Gene Pitneys "town without pity" and Eddie Readers cover.
Well, you know your career is going somewhere when the BB are your backup singers. Such a great voice.
She done great with this song which is my favorite Beach Boy Song. Thank you for putting this song in my heart Guys and you Lorrie for your version.
Nothing sweeter than a female country voice. She looks at Mike Love and thinks, What a ham!
Carl was still alive. Best harmony in history. Hands down.
Yes ! He sang lead on their 2 biggest Hits. Their best vocalist.
What a beautiful rendition! Awesome!
Fabulous.I've watched this dozens of times over the years.
