This has always been my favorite Beach Boys song! But I must be living under a rock for the last almost 30 years because I just now found and heard this version by Lorrie Morgon and the BB! Amazing!
I remember seeing the Beach Boys, live, in the Round, at Valley Forge Music Fair in the early 70's. No smoke, no fireworks, no lasers, just pure music from the original Beach Boys then. They sang every hit song for almost 2 hours, never taking a break. Ah, what memories!

This is really really good. She sings it true to the original but adds some subtle and simple nuances that makes it better than the original. A true work of art!
This has been by far my favorite Beach Boys song for decades. It sends a good clean sincere message. When something is really, really bothering you, just play this song. Guaranteed your entire mood will turn on a dot. At the end of the day 100% of things that worry us don’t happen. Lonnie Morgan’s rendition makes it sound more sentimental somehow. It honors this classic song, The Beach Boys and herself.
It was recorded for a Country album, "Stars and Stripes, Vol 1," in collaboration with other Country-type artists. Tammy Wynette and Willie Nelson among them. "In My Room" (Wynette): ua-cam.com/video/u8O7b5AVVGY/v-deo.html

Take the best song ever written, get the best harmony group that ever recorded and front it all with a great country singer; this is truly my best Christmas present this year.
Amen, brother..
You’re easy !
What a wonderful song, what a wonderful time. What has happened to our poor country?
Nicholas Piscitelli Crack cocaine, meth, Marxist educators, smart phones, brainwashing of our children, Communists in the media and government and the entertainment industry and a lack of depth, Harmony and Melody in today's music along with filthy lyrics just for starters.
Democrats.
Love love hearing them sing after all these years! Lori does a great job on this song!💕
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song
This has always been my favorite Beach Boys song! But I must be living under a rock for the last almost 30 years because I just now found and heard this version by Lorrie Morgon and the BB! Amazing!
She makes me melt when sings the last verses, "Dont worry baby
Lorrie has a fabulous voice and this is pure gold.
Lorrie Morgan, wow, fabulously beautiful woman and a phenomenal singer, raising this BB classic to an unforgettable experience.
I would say that she has one hell of a great voice and delivery in this song.
Not as Good as the Original ! Sorry !
As a very sad and homesick 17 year old (having left home at 16) this was the song that kept me going and lifted my spirits. As an older gent, this take me back and makes me grateful that I have had such a full life. Thank you so much for posting. Loved it.
I am glad that this provided the exact thing you needed during those troubling times in your life.
This is really really good. She sings it true to the original but adds some subtle and simple nuances that makes it better than the original. A true work of art!
She's always had a beautiful voice and being together with the Beach Boys fantastic vocals is outstanding
Amen bro!
I utterly adore her version of this song!
Sooooo good
Beautiful work, love the original and isn’t it cute how Lorrie brings that country style with her when she sings this. Fabulous.
It was recorded for a Country album, "Stars and Stripes, Vol 1," in collaboration with other Country-type artists. Tammy Wynette and Willie Nelson among them.

Thanks Lee. That’s a great thing, with Tammy and Brian. Two wonderful people, besides being great artists.
I just saw Lorrie Morgan last week in Bloomington Indiana, she sang this song, it was incredible! Her whole show was fantastic!
Fell in love Lorrie Morgan is wonderful all heart 💜❤️
Perfection. The lady sings like an angel.
NEVER NEW THIS SONG EXISTED BUT MISS LORRIE NAILED IT RIGHT ON
