I'm glad you showed that the binding is holding up well. I was thinking of buying the Common Planner for 2024, but ended up going with the Cousin again because I was afraid the binding wouldn't be as strong. After watching your video, I may change my mind for 2025. Thanks
In my experience the first generation of the SI notebooks/planners (with the paper covers) don't hold up well at all, but the second generation (the 2024 planners and the new notebooks with page numbers) hold up great. So I agree it's safe to order one for 2025!
I love your flip throughs of this planner. Next year I will probably get the full year B6 rather than the compact. This was my first CP and I wasn't sure about all the notes pages, but I am finding all sorts of interesting ways to use them. I'd get an A5 but I know I won't fill it up and I don't want to pay for a new cover. I will be hitting up your shop for lots of goodies when that time comes. I'm so sorry about your grandma, sending love to your family. 💔 It's never easy, even if expected. Wishing you good luck on your upcoming race, don't forget to hydrate in this heat!
Your video is may favorite planning/journal video yet! I love the goals, intentions, quarterly, 'in review' monthly, trackers you are doing. I'm definitely going to be incorporating those into my planner. 2024 was my first year using the the hobonichi weeks and I found it be really useful. But I have my eye on the Sterling Ink Common Planner too. Thank you for doing the video and sharing your journal and view points with us!!
There's no fighting the squash bugs. I'm not sure what zone you live in but most places it's not too late to replant! Many experienced gardeners I follow do this. I need to get better about using my inks...your dailies are inspiring. I also use a dashboard style for my weekly--the Nolty Ecri A5 in the graph memo layout.
Thank you! I am in Zone 8 so I could replant (and might) but it is SO hot already I'm not sure it would be worth it. I find if I see the inks, I use them more! I have an open book shelf that I prefer over using a drawer for inks 🥰
Your planner videos are some of my very favorite on YT! They’re so organized and functional while also being creative. ❤️ Kindly, would you share from where you purchased the holiday stickers you use, please?
Wow, thank you! If you're asking about the holiday stickers in the monthlies, I sell them in my shop :) mydandeliondiaries.com/products/tiny-holidays-handlettering
I love love your flip through and all you do either your planner. Love the fluff! I ordered some SI date stickers and they look really nice. An idea for you to date? I do not predate because I LOVE not having planner shame for all of the skipped pages. It’s so wonderful to have extra pages to do other things. What pen are you using for your big black bold headings? You told me before and I bought one, and maybe I’m using it wrong. lol. Mine don’t look like that! Also, I just ordered an A5 sojourner desert oasis. They are back up!
In my monthlies, I track the books I've read. Each book gets a color and I put a tiny dot sticker for each day I've read the book. I have a key with a list of all the books down at the bottom of the page. It's been so fun to see all the colors build up over the month and it definitely makes me want to read more! I was inspired by Girl and Quill her on UA-cam who does something similar with her monthlies.
How often do you go back and read your daily pages? I realized I’ve spent half the year loosely journaling (developing a more thorough journaling practice now) but never going back and reading them. So I’m scheduling “read my life” tasks at rhetorical monthly level and quarterly and mid-year level.
I probably read through them about once a month? Maybe every few months? I usually read through before I make flip through videos in case there's anything too personal and I need to cover it up. I think it is a great practice though! For memories, and for seeing how your life is going 🥰
What is the name of the author and series that you mentioned? It was hard for me to hear. Also, where are the beautiful large stickers from? Thanks in advance.
The stickers are PET clippings from London Gifties! www.londongifties.com As for the book series, I read several, but the first one I mentioned was the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas :)

Mine is holding up great. I love the common planner and so far, so regrets in leaving the cousin!
Glad it was helpful! Like the others have said, the difference in the 2023 books to the 2024 books is substantial.

Thank you so much Jean ❤️️ I appreciate it 🥰 I think the B6 is a great size and if I ever have less going on, I would likely move to that size.

You are so welcome! I hope you love the Sterling Ink planners 🙂 they are wonderful!

you can do this in a Hobonichi. this is basically how i use my Hon. you dint have to be a slave to the day per page layout lol
I will be going back to Hobonichi for 2025 as my main planner. However, I am going to test out W222's layout as well.

I am using the Pentel Sign Brush Pens! It did take practice with it to write the way I wanted. But I feel like all brush pens are like that.

That's a great idea! Thank you so much for sharing!
I enjoyed your flip through! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
You could try planting blue Hubbard squash as a "trap crop" for the squash bugs
That is a great idea!! Adding that to my seed list.
Page 134...I haven't had a decent melon all summer! 😓
Oh no!! I hope you'll get a good one before they are out of season.
