This video made me feel like I’m underutilizing my common planner 😅😅 your cover is beautiful! I just about purchased a VDS on impulse, but I think I’ll wait for 2024. Great video 💜💜
This was fantastic!! Thank you for sharing. I think I resonated more with this video than any others I have watched of the Common Planner. I have the Undated one because I could not get one of the dated ones that were snagged up so quickly!! LOL Unfortunately, I didn’t find out about it in time for the pre-order. I am torn between excited to use it and terrified to start! I am currently using Happy Planner and love the flexibility of changing where pages are located, but I am absolutely SMITTEN with the Common Planner! I was hoping to start using it by this month but looks like it’ll have to be a May start. Thank you again for such a great video. I’ve subscribed to see your journey with this! ❤
I'm so glad you found this helpful! I'll be doing a Q1 flip in the coming week or two. And I'll have a video on my undated work planner setup soon too. I adore the CP. I've never used a HP for my EDC/personal planner but used one for social media and work in the past. I like them alot but they are bulky. And I've found that setting up my back pages for common place gives me what I need and feel like I have flexibility even without moving pages. I complete understand being nervous to use it and get started. But I don't think you'll regret it!
Love love love!!!!! I definitely am sticking with it in 2024 as well. It’s just exactly what I have always wanted. Structure where I need it and freedom in the “dailies” and collections where I need it. LOVE your setup.
Thanks for a great video. I have been thinking about getting a Sterling Ink B6 Common Planner and ordered one before I even got to the end of your video. You’ve inspired me x
Thank you for your video. I struggle with the monthly a lot. I barely use it. I did find that when I have them all pre-decorated, I do end up using it a lot more. I honestly have a hard time with vertical weeklies, so I ended up not using it a lot in March, so this month I'm using the notes pages as a bujo and created a totally different spread, leaving the pre-printed weeklies blank. I think I'll use those as my health planner, because I am terrible at going back and using it for memory planning. Love to see how you use yours!
I need to do a video on monthlies because there's so many different ways to use them. Definitely don't have to use them for appointments and scheduling. Sometimes it's a matter of figuring out what works best for you. :) I used to never use vertical weeklies - but life changed, worked changed and now I need them to see my week. but the CP is pretty easy to modify to use the weeklies a different way. I'll be doing some videos sharing ideas how to make different spreads for inspiration!
Great use of the Common Planner. I’m to am hoping to get back to studying Spanish because I really enjoy when patients understand what little I know. It’s funny because a few are disappointed that I do not know it fully and that’s because I look Spanish (I’ve been told)😅. Thanks for sharing💙
Love your layouts and planning! I haven’t finished the video but wanted to comment that I also prefer to have each month immediately followed by the weeks (or days). Do you know of some bound planners with this layout? I’ve used the Erin Condren but would love some other recommendations.
So in B6 the PaperTess is bundled but it’s a horizontal weekly on one page followed by 7 blank pages for dailies. Wonderland222 also bundles the months and weeks in all their planners too - A5, B6 and A6. In the A5 they have an unstacked vertical similar to this weekly layout. And in all three sizes they have a weekly with a stacked weekend and wider columns too.
Thanks for sharing. Are you having issues with the stickers making it lumpy or is it not an issue because the paper is a heavier GSM than the hobonichi? I just bought a pre loved common planner and am just thinking through if/how I may use stickers
The Common Planner and Hobonichi are the same gsm - both are 52gsm. But I haven't had any issues with the stickers making it lumpy --- mostly because I am using clear stickers which are much thinner and don't cause the same bulk and bumps. - and also, the one over the monthly section is the only one I'm consistently putting in the same exact place over and over...but even that area isn't lumpy. Yay for your preloved planner! That's awesome. I think you will love it! If you use a lot of stickers in the same space on lots of pages and they aren't clear so a little bulkier - one combat for that is to use a pencil board underneath when writing.
I need to look and see which book it’s from - it might be an older one. I just go thru them all and find ones that speak to me. I’ll get back with you!
I like how you are using it. I stopped using the CommonPlanner a couple of weeks into January, because the font was too faint for my use, making it not terribly useful to me for work. I need to see the times clearly, I bought the times washi tape from them too, but the font is just as difficult to see for me sadly. The lines are also too faint for my use. It is now sitting in a box untouched. I may use it as a smash book or something later. It is a lovely book but not useful for what i bought it for. Your set up is lovely and you are putting it to good use.
Thanks for watching. I’m sorry the markings are too faint for you. I only have issue if I’m planning in a dark space but I know others have said it’s light for them too. I will say her undated planners she did the preorder for, the B6 book 2 she did a preorder for recently for those that missed out and her 2024 planners are all printed darker so that should make them easier to see.

SIMPLIFY is also my word of the year! I really love this planner..... I will keep watching your channel to see how it progresses....
Thank you! I'll be doing an update/flip from Q1 in the coming week or two.
This is my word too.
This video made me feel like I’m underutilizing my common planner 😅😅 your cover is beautiful! I just about purchased a VDS on impulse, but I think I’ll wait for 2024. Great video 💜💜
Thank you so much! I’m sure your utilizing yours beautifully too!
Love your set up and how your using. I love mine the B6 size is my favorite size also. I’m so glad Catherine’s going to have them next year!
Thanks so much! I'm very glad she's continuing with the CP too! I'm very excited for my undated A5 coming later this month so I can use that size too!

Great video. I am transitioning to the common planner in January. This was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!

You are so welcome! I’m so glad you found it helpful - that means the world to me!!
Wow... admire your structure! Took lots of note!
Thanks a ton!
The clear sticky note on the front cover looks really nice! I thought it was actually a poem on the cover! Lolol
Oh that would be a great idea! I love the clear ones - so much prettier

It’s actually my goal to launch one for 2025. I so hope I can make it happen! 🤩
@@JustScribble Wow! Good luck!
@@JustScribble Thanks for the recommendations!
Thanks for the awesome video! Which pen do you use as all of mine always smear when I highlight!!
I use the UniBall ONE and adore them! I posted a video of brushables this week and shared how well they do with highlighting.
Off topic, but your nails are so pretty! May I ask what polish you’re wearing?
Thank you 😊 it’s a Zoya polish. I need to see which one and I’ll get back with you!
It's Zoya Normani.
Thankyou so much! And no wonder I love it - Zoya polishes are my favorite. Easton (so?) is my go to. :)
Thanks again!
:)
Where did you get the transparent tabs from please? Greetings from North Bay Ontario. Canada.
Hi 👋🏻 thanks so much for watching! They are from GracieEdits.

I love the stickers for January, the blue and orange is gorgeous, did they come from a sticker book on that site? I can’t find them.
I need to look and see which book it’s from - it might be an older one. I just go thru them all and find ones that speak to me. I’ll get back with you!
Thanks, they have a lot of beautiful books but I really love that one. Hoping it’s still around.

What color did you get and would you sell it?
Im knew to these planners...who has the monthly/weekly/daily together???
You mean a planner brand that has the weeks and days grouped with the months (like all of January - monthly, weeklies, dailies) and then February etc. Or has a book with monthlies, weeklies and dailies in it?
