For your garden journal, on the weeks you don't use it as often - you can use it as a nature journal.... just when you're out and about, you can journal about the things you see, paste in leaves or flowers you find... I saw the idea on IG and thought that was a really cool idea.... just so you can journal things you enjoy - birds you see, flowers growing around your town, etc. Just an idea -- so the journal will contain around the same type of information.
Thanks for sharing, Danielle! I will gently warn you against doing a lot of back dating, that way leads to burn out in my experience. I get through the back dating but then I’m so exhausted by it that I don’t continue forward and then I’m in a vicious cycle. Your experience may be different but I encourage you to just let those blank pages go and enjoy what you can do routinely. ❤️
I'm thinking of using the A5 5-year planner starting in 2026. (I'm finishing my current next year) Thinking on the left side the normal what happened that day but on the left use it for garden/weather journaling.
On date nights - go dancing! Learn a style of dance and find live music at different places :) You don't need to drink, you can do a nice dinner at home before hand. It's VERY fun.
I think I'm going to go with an undated a5 for my garden journal. That way I can do lots of entries during busy months and just an overview during maintenance months.
I have thought of doing this as well. Especially with the undated sterling ink books being in the weeks/TN size now.Undated may be the best idea not to waste pages!
😱 this just blew my mind! Multiple spreads with different focuses but only for the months that really matter for gardening. I need my scratch notebook to work thru how this would lay out and what I’d need!
I love wonderland 222, it has all the layouts already done for me. I actually love the undated dailies because I don’t feel bound to a day per page, I can use more or less if needed and then can also easily have room for my finances and goals in one book
I’d love to see a more in depth video on your astrology planner!!! I’ve been struggling with how to do one myself! I’ve also been trying to teach myself astrology!
I tried the Wonderlan222 A5 undated for the first 4 months of the year. I liked almost everything about it. The thing that made me stop using is was the choice to have the month calendar, review, and forward pages between the weeks of the month. It made work planning difficult because I had to flip forward several pages and the weeks weren't continuous. So April 29 and 30 were on one spread, then the April review, then the May overview then the May monthly calendar, and then the first week of May. It just didn't work for me. I really like that there was a spread for the month's review and overview, just not their placement.
How interesting. Thank you for sharing! Sounds like it has a lot of great extra pages. I can see how having the months spread out would make it harder to forward plan.
I love Wonderland222. I started in the A5 but have turned into an A6 person. 😂 W222 has all the chonkiness and layouts of a Hobonichi without any of the color-coding and quotes. They also offer past years planners at a discount; you’ve got a whole notebook’s worth of quality paper to play with without needing to feel precious about the book itself. The W222 A5 comes in a version with enough blank pages for dailies for whole year or an abridged one with fewer pages at the back.
I have a wonderland 222 for my work planner. I don't use dailies for work so it works for me. Just use the notes pages when needed. I do like the planner. @JustScribble has in depth videos on all these planners, might be worth checking out. I think next year I will stick with the SI CP because I actually need the undated dailies. I use them strictly for journaling but don't always use a whole page and sometimes I use more. So I will utilize one page for however many days I need. Especially when I don't have much to say. I am tempted to try out the SI TN size and the take a note planner. I haven't decided yet. I love seeing all your planners, how you are using them and changing them for your needs and I think I want to try the gratitude in my Magic of eye planner. I fell off of my astrology planner but plan on jumping back into it. I too and trying to learn the tarot better. I'm gonna try and go to learning one card a week...we will see.
Thank you Priscilla!! I will definitely check out Just Scribble's videos. The SI TN size is wonderful, I'm tempted to get an undated one for my garden journal next year. The Take a Note is very nice too, but I think it works best for a work/study situation, I personally don't have enough space if I were to use it as an every day planner. Best of luck with the tarot practice!!
I'm adding a T1 to my mix next year. Strictly for Health/Fitness things. I tried out the size with some booklets this year and have really enjoyed the size. I use the A5 common Planner for life currently.
I just ordered and received the 2nd half of the year common place because I was struggling with the dated pages 😂 I was writing too much in my hobonichi cousin so going to try out the undated format and see what happens!
Thankyou for sharing this, there are a lot of great ideas here and it's always interesting to reflect on what has worked and what hasn't. A practical question - for your main common planner, what are the monthly index tabs you're using?
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm not sure which tabs you may mean, but I use sticker tabs from my shop mydandeliondiaries.com/products/mini-planner-tabs and metal Midori Tabs for place holding. www.jetpens.com/Midori-Chiratto-Index-Clip-Silver/pd/27535
@@mydandeliondiaries Oh those are great! I didn't realise you had a sticker shop of your own. Do you think you're likely to do O/S shipping in the future?

I appreciate that! so much Thank you!!
Love this - thank you for sharing. I love your goals spread at the beginning of your A5 planner, this is something I am missing.
