i believe its really the culture and tradition parts thats preventing them. its way easier for a chinese girl to adapt into a western family than a western girl to adapt into a chinese family. Ive dated a romanian girl in the past and lets say that my mother and her totally didnt get along. Chinese parents expects the bribe to know how to take care of the household. in western culture, both man and woman are very equal while in china lets say its more man dominated. not saying that its the woman's duty to be a housewife, the man does help but its majority taken care by the woman.
