Kaho's channel it's one of the greatest Channel I've ever seen on UA-cam. A Japanese sharing Chinese culture it's something that I've never seen before and I really respect Kaho doing that. ❤

All I can say is that China is a very large country, different regions have different customs, and the people's ideas are also different
Hey Kaho! As a Canadian-born Chinese, I find the content that you create very intriguing. It provides me with a window through your eyes to see what the Chinese and foreigners' perspectives are in China today. As you probably know, China develops quite quickly in many facets, so the people's outlook on China changes rapidly as well. I don't think there are many channels creating similar content like this in China on YT. I haven't been back to China since Nov 2019, so your videos help me fill the void...for now. Lol! Keep up the great work! You got yourself a new subscriber! 🔥🔥

I think Asian Boss is doing something similar, but it's more political or society interview subject. It's cool though but I prefer more Kaho !
The other Chinese channel I watch is Treeman, more the prank side haha but some are very warming up the heart ☺️
I met a businessman from Shanghai some years ago. We went to have lunch at a Chinese restaurant in Singapore. I wasn't familiar with Chinese culture and this was my first time having lunch over business with a Chinese national from China. From the time we sat down till the time we finished lunch, we were having countless "ganbei". Whenever I pick up my jug of beer, he would quickly grab his jug and toast to me. Since he started this, it seemed rude if I did not emulate him whenever he picked up his jug.. so it went on.. and on... At first, I felt silly. But then it seemed comical as we infused more alcohol into our blood. I did not think that he was acting strange because his family owned a few very large factories in Shanghai, which his ancestors passed down to him! So, he must have drank his share of alcohol over business lunches. He was very polite and respectful despite his business and social standing. I had a very good impression of him.
Hahaha talking business and getting drunk 😂 it's fun 🤭
Great info. Kaho chan is so pretty 🥰
It probably takes you so long to type out all those captions in two languages. The video was interesting. I don't know much about Chinese customs, especially not local customs, so I learned a lot from these interviews.
kaho is so pretty
Thank you ! 😊
No.1 taboo: DON'T wear a green hat.( You break it🤣🤣🤣)
no 1,don't talk about democracy to chinese people, they don't know what democracy is
😂
Only applies to men.......

I remember my great grandma slapping me on the back of my head when I stuck my chopsticks vertically on a bowl of rice. She said it was bad luck because you only do that for food offerings for the dead.
Your Channel is growing really fast
Happy New Year to you and everyone.
I love this video! She's a Japanese living in China! We all have different traditions and beliefs and it's great! Those differences should not be used by warmongers. We need to educate each other to live in peace.
Support you
Being a Chinese myself, I thought I knew Chinese quite well until I attended a wedding years ago, only to be surprised that number 4 could be used for the exact opposite meaning; $140 was stuffed inside the Red Envelope in a wedding to symbolize "一生一世". Somewhere in China, casket 棺材 can be used to symbolize 升官发财.
一生一四😮 that's amazing haha !

someone post your video in Douyin(chinese tiktok), so I'm here to subscribe your channel, and very happy to see the ordinary ppl can exchange their culture in here.
No way, what it is called ? I used Douyin a lot so cool and interesting, specially the repost with the bots voices. Idk how they make a video comment or film so more interesting
@@pabloa_e they use a app called capcut to edit , you can try , its fun.
Thank you Kaho san, once again I apreciate these videos that you make sharing the other side of the coin that the west dont show us about China. It's safe to say that as an expat in China you have lots of many more experiences and knowledge to share with us and I will look at those future videos.
あけまして おめでとう ございます!
Ps. why did you choose that song in the intro? I'm just curious.
This was very interesting. In Japan, four (四) is sometimes associated with death (死) due to sound similarities, so it tends to be avoided in food portions and gifts. In some regions, families would avoid three pieces in serving things like Sashimi because it's associated being cut by a sword (i.e. 身が切れる).
As if that isn't the case in Chinese.......
But, as a rebuttal, there's 4 seasons in an year, so what, you just kill yourself at year end to avoid the 4th season?
So generally you don't see Chinese having that big a taboo with 4, but we do prefer 8 of pretty much everything though, if given a choice.
4 and 7 are inauspicious numbers in Chinese and Japanese culture. That is why there are two different pronunciations for 4 and 7 in Japanese.

I am curious about what brought you to China and what keeps you living in China. China is actually an amazing country full of massive energy, but I don’t think people have a positive impression toward It in general especially in Japan.
Be honest. Who can like China, especially the past 3 years due to COVID-19. It's not just Japan.
Yeh COVID + government and the western media all barking about bad or suspicious event.
And also I ended up last time on UA-cam about a big UA-camr that have lived in China, but know he is clickbaiting on very very very bad subject about Chinese and China. He is telling the worst story/subject about China and all in the comment is saying "I will never go to China" 🥲🥲🥲. Idk why, he even have a Chinese wife, idk if you know this channel.
So influencer fooling everyone (even if he tells the truth, his channel it's biased and people dumb), especially speaking English (American and British people), that's not helping
