Dinky restoration of Vauxhall Saloon No. 30d. Year of production 1946. Model cast toy.

The Dinky company produced this model in 1936 after the Second World War. The production of this model was resumed in 1946. It is a simple model, but at that time it was very interesting. The parts of this model were not riveted, but were held together by the axle and wheels. This is a very interesting solution that I saw for the first time. My Vauxhall was complete. The front grille lacked headlights and a bumper. I made these parts myself. I made a bumper from a metal pin, and the headlights were made of resin. These models were packed in cardboard collective packages. They did not have individual packages. A very interesting construction, everything is held together by the axles. The model is 20 years older than I am, but after the restoration it looks much better than I can say for myself 😜🤣

I have a box of old models like these I'd love to keep but I'm not well. And I'd rather they go to someone who'd appreciate them.
All of them are from 1940-1960s they were mostly my late dad's and some from his late older brother.
