  • Truffles are a highly prized treat for good reason!! And in Italy's Tuscany region, they're at their best. The only thing is: they can be nearly impossible to find in the ground!

fun fact. Pigs are probably better than dogs at finding truffles. The problem is that when they find one they eat it.

This video remember me of an old TV production I worked for. It was called "Tasty Tuscany" hosted by Joan Cusack. She was a funny person but she used to drink diet coke with truffles... and she didn't have the same passion you have about food (We also did a fake truffle hunting because we didn't have time...) Let me say that you, your camera operator 😉 and your truffle expert are better than us!

Way too many shows with Anglo American or British folk doing half hearted cooking TV programs. Katie is VERY passionate and knowledgeable.

Truffles is the typical food that or you love it or you hate it.
    Most people love it anyway.
P.s. Those amazing country views, dudes.

Yes, it's really true, I hate the smell and the flavour. If I really have to eat it I eat it, but it doesn't drive me crazy.

Some years in Alba the cost of white truffles per gram surpasses that of gold. That explains why you get to pay for it outside the normal cost of the dishes you ordered.

Esiste qualche reperto museale databile a.d. 1500?
