Life of a Woodsman - Simple Camp Chair

Every good camp should have a comfortable place to sit. The easiest seat to make in the outdoors is a stump seat, and with a few extra minutes of work the stump seat can become a much appreciated addition to the camp.
With the completion of this stump seat my camp is really starting to feel like home. Now it's time to focus on getting more food through the means of hunting and trapping.

Love that all of your projects have been quite simple and easy for the common man or woman to to duplicate. I’m so tired of watching these projects that take days to accomplish, but pretend it took a couple of hours. This is the real deal. Would it be possible to use that technique when building a tripod for a tarp as well? Longer sticks will probably be harder twisting around. But is it sturdy enough?

I do. Most of the time this type of tripod lash is strong enough for many bushcraft applications.

As long as you use a rope that can withstand the tension from twisting then this type of lashing will work great for making tripods of any size/application. Thanks for watching!
