Knitting a child’s skirt with short rows on the Passap knitting machine

Welcome to the World of Zabbez. In this video I knit the cute child’s skirt from the Passap manual. It is a beginner project intended to learn the basic machine knitting operations and to get familiar with the Passap Duomatic 80 knitting machine. Special focus lies on knitting short rows or graduations. Short rowing is a great technique. This skirt is my second project on this machine, following the knitted child’s sweater. Wonderfully done video following the Passap manual instructions. For the top of your skirt, you may want to finish it off by adding a 4-6 inch wide heavy elastic on the inside. You will only need to sew it to the top edge all around the skirt. Leave it loose at the bottom edge of the elastic. This way the skirt will not slip down when the child wears it. You might also like to add some clip on suspenders to the skirt. Great video beginner instruction. Beautifully knit.

Leuke video's met duidelijke uitleg. Welk breiboekje heb je hiervoor gebruikt ? En een Nederlandstalige dan nog wel. Misschien zat die bij de aankoop van je Passap? Ikzelf heb een Passap duomatic roze, is iets ouder, maar werkt op dezelfde manier. Ben ook nog vanalles aan het uittesten, maar met jouw video's lukt het al veel beter ",-))
