I can't thank you enough for making these videos. I've been trying to learn to use my machines for years but kept getting discouraged and going back to using my Brother machines. Your videos are well made, and so very helpful!
I wish your channel existed when I started my Knitting years ago. No one I have watched so far explains as easy and clear like you, and the videos and illustrations with the techniques and procedures you use are the best!!! And this machine/system is way better than learning on the Brother or the Singer systems, and I can say that coz I have ALL OF THEM!!! But I now will sell all my Brother/Singer machines, and will stay with my two PASSAPS!!! Thanks for your excellent teachings, and the Lord give you Long Life, lots of Blessings and protection!!!
Thank you so much, it makes me really happy to read your message. I love knitting on my knitting machines and all of them have their own character. This Passap is just amazing 😀 I wish you lot’s of fun on your knitting journey with the machines that you love!
So pleased to find your video, I have just done 1 sock.. 1 to go😊.. Your explanation of everything is so much easier to follow than in my book.. Thank you 😊
Thank you very much, it makes me happy to read your comment. I guess your second sock is finished now? Isn't it great to wear the socks you knit yourself. Have fun!
Really love your video, thanks very much for simplifying the manual content. I managed the sock no problem. First time with no stress... 🤩 I'm off to make some more!!
Hello, i have a lot of troubles with the passap when i put this sort of normal yarn even if its not tick, im obliged to keep using the thin regular yarn, do you have a tip to suggest? because colors and designs in the regular thin yarn are very limited ...
Passap can use several thicknesses of yarn from very thin to just above sock weight yarn. Not thicker. Make sure you use the thin yarn for double bed fabrics and the thicker yarn for single bed fabrics and ribbing. Experiment what stitches work with what yarn. Good luck!
Really beautiful work for your first socks on this machine. Have you seen the SWAN ( Socks Without A Name) pattern for the Passap? It has a gusset in the pattern by the heel. Good to see a new video from you.
@@ZabbezOriginal I have not seen it as a video. A company on the internet in the USA has taken over selling this pattern by that name. Socks have been knit for hundreds of years with a gusset so there is nothing about the sock that is proprietary other than the written words of the pattern and the name of the pattern. There is an E6000 Passap video by motherofallcrafts that shows how to do a different type of sock heel. The same should work on the DUO80. We need to get you a double bed pattern for the other as well. 😉
Bonjour, un très grand merci pour votre vidéo qui détaille parfaitement le travail 🙏 Exactement ce que je souhaitais ❤️❤️❤️ J’ai partagé sur notre groupe passap débutant
Thank you so much for your very helpful content! Please the yarn you used is the normal for hand knitting? So we have just to look for thin suitable yarn true?
@@ZabbezOriginal buenas tardes desde Colombia me puedes explicar por favor como lo puedo realizar apenas estoy empezando a manejar el deco o tarjetero mil gracias
Thank you for this clear easy to follow video. I have an E6000 so only the back bed has pushers that come out of the bottom rail like that. Do you know if I can still short-row on the front bed or would I have to use the back bed. TIA.😊
Thank you, I am happy you like my video. I have no experience with an E6000 knitting machine, but those are great machines. It seems to me it must be possible on the front bed, but I am not sure. Don’t you need to activate and make some settings on the electronic console to short row on the front bed?
@@ZabbezOriginal Probably that is the case. However, when I got my E6000 I started with the console and gave up on the E6000 entirely for a year or two. It has been suggested to me recently that I should work my way through the DM80 book then try again with console. So, far I have had more success knitting without the console than I did with it. I think I will pose my question in the relevant Facebook group. Someone is bound to know the answer. 😊 Thanks.
@@ZabbezOriginalThe front bed pushers are controlled on the E6000 by lock settings and by console. The back bed is exactly like the dm80. Many knitting challenges are the same for both machines. The E6000 needs a fully charged battery for the console memory to work. You need to be aware of static electricity. You must also know the EXACT starting position for the console to read the pushers. If you try to knit too fast the programs will Also fail. UA-cam mother of all crafts has some very good E6000 videos as well as passapnet.
You can still short row on your front bed moving your pushers by hand just like the DM80 for sock knitting. Lock on N. Not using the console UA-cam Barbara deik, I might have mispelled the last name, has some instruction on using the E6000 without the console. Duet magazines published conversion lock settings for the two machines. There is a book still sold. "Knitting without the lights" by Billie Hall. That addresses this issue. Meaning to knit without the console.
@@veggieview2264 Thanks. 😊 I'll see if I can find the Barbara Deik instructions. I have the conversion information from the Duet magazines. I have searched but I have yet to find a copy of Knitting With The Lights Off.
Unfortunately not. Haven't had time to make new video's lately or even be online 😜 But hopefully in a few weeks I will have more time to make some new video's 👍🏻
Mooie sokken !!, goeie duidelijke uitleg, ik probeer het vandaag nog uit ",-)) hoe bereken ik de maat van de sokken ? Ik denk dat die van jou wel voor een maatje 46 zijn of zo....

Hello where do I get this machine can you recommend?
These are second hand machines. Try asking in second hand stores near you. Or search online. Good luck!
