Thank you so much for this incredible video. I've tried to create myself a ball a few times but I couldn't find the way to create an harmonious curve. Thank you for giving the fruit of your researches, I know now how long it can be to try and retry until it looks like what you have in mind. Very interesting approach to make slides. Thank you ❤️
Je commence mes premiers Amigurumis et je me posais déjà ces mêmes questions. Vous êtes perfectionniste comme moi. Je me disais c'est pas assez rond... Très bien ! Merci beaucoup ! Bravo pour vos explications et vos créations ! ❤️
Thank you for this video!!! I used it to make a hat that had only a paid pattern... There is a video making a similar-looking hat, but it's in a language I don't understand so it was frustrating. I took a closer look at the pictures and realized it was the same pattern as yours, with variations in the number of 2a and 2b. Not only the hat, I've also learnt how to crochet a ball for future projects now. Can't thank you enough, you're a lifesaver!
This is the most informative about making balls or heads!! I made my first anime head and it turned out to be so big compared to the tutorial i followed. That means when i combined the head to the hair, it looks off. I was fullnof qiestions and now they are answered. Thankyou.
Ur videos are just on spot n very easy to understand I made 2 balls; one in ur basic tutorial thn after watching this another one of small size with 3 in rnd 1 😅it was bit difficult in 1st two rounds thn rest went well . Both came out pretty gud . I have crocheted a little before but this is the first tym trying amigurumi. Thnx for the videos 😊:)
This is very usefull for me. I got the challenge to make a literally giant crochet ball while being a total beginner. But i luckily enough am quite creative and learn easily this type of stuff. I already made one ball using your basics for starters and now my challenge is to make a bigger ball using this method. If this works for me i feel confident enough with making the giant ball
I have to say it is the BEST explanation how to crochet balls of different sizes. However, I am still struggling with the side building rounds. If my SECTION 1 is end at 56sc then how many rows should I build? Once again, thank you for sharing your experience❤
Hi! For this, you will need to experiment a little. Typically, I’d do 2-3 rounds, a lot of it will depend on your personal tension too. Hope this helps!
Really good video, thanks for teaching how to make a ball. Can u please explain me what do you mean by "sandwiching 6 INCs evenly between 6 SCs" please andd thank you.
Can somebody please tell me what the parentheses mean in a pattern? For example at 6:08 on the fourth row of the altered pattern it says “sc,inc, (2 sc, inc) x5 sc” is it saying that I should alternate between the two or only do the one in the parentheses? Please help! Edit: A few minutes after I wrote this comment, I just realized what it meant after struggling with it on a different pattern for hours! I am obviously not the brightest.. it just means repeat what’s in the parentheses 5x 🤦🏽♀️
So round 7 would be 5sc, 1 inc til end of row and round 8 would be 3 sc, 1 inc [ 6sc, 1 inc five times] 3 sc???? Can someone tag me in an answer? Wonderful video! Really set me straight on a lot of stuff!!
Hi! In 2b, you’re increasing your total stitch count for the whole round by 6. So if you currently have 30, you’ll need to get to 36. To figure out the pattern for this, divide your current stitch count by 6 (30/6 = 5), and subtract one from that (5-1 = 4). The pattern to increase is (4sc, inc) 6 times. Hope this helps!
Don’t worry. It could possibly just means you’re not quite at this level yet and need to find a simpler tutorial. I haven’t a clue what she means either if that helps. 😂🤷♀️
No it isn't. If you are unable to follow this, then you need to find something easier to work your way up. This video made perfect sense. @@andershedman7198
It's a little confusing to understand I also wonder what they used as stuffing is it just Teddy stuffing or is it a solid cork or rubber inside or even a marble
This is the best video I have found so far on how to adjust the sizes of crochet spheres, thank you so much for making it! :)
I totally agree!!! Very well explained.

Finally 😭... I couldn't get my head around this pattern but by making a picture, you really helped us who never can make sense of the pattern lingo
How old are you?
This tutorial is incredible. Thanks so much! All the others I've seen are missing crucial details.
My 6 month old loves the ball I just made him. Thank you so much for the great help!

Solution: learn the language. Ergo, thou shalt understand.
Just crocheting for 3 days and I can understand this very much. nice presentation ❤❤

Wonderful video! Really set me straight on a lot of stuff!!
Yes, that's correct! :)
Thank you. This was amazing. You have a great voice and timing. I will always use you as a reference
Do you do any of your videos left handed?
I've been trying to figure out how to crochet a 5cm diameter ball with this tutorial but even if I'm not a beginner i just can't get it 😭
Can someone help me out on 2b? Am I supposed to increase the whole round or just increase by 6 stitches? Like inc x 6, sc x 6??
Hi! In 2b, you’re increasing your total stitch count for the whole round by 6. So if you currently have 30, you’ll need to get to 36.

Do you stagger the decreases too like the increases?
Yep!
You have so much good karma coming for the countless tears you've saved people lol THANK YOU!!!🥰🙏

You forgot to add some equations there🙄🤦🏻♀️😒
Too much maths :(
Was hoping you would actually show the crocheting, not a tablet with drawings, sorry but this wasn’t super helpful for me in particular
