    FYI - Per CMON's website news - the availability to ship to these regions will only be available during the campaign. It'll not got to retail after the crowdfunding on Gamefound.
    Additionally, it’s important to note that our license does not include retail releases for the UK, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, so there are no plans to release Clash for Eternia in stores.

      Ah, that's important information that I didn't see in their announcements, advertising, or on the Gamefound page. Disappointing, but I guess it makes my decision easier. Thanks for the heads up. I've pinned this comment.

    Hey old man ! I took you advice months ago and picked up most stuff for Battlegrounds from Badger. I missed the kickstarter for Clash, but got it retail at a local store. At Noble Knight I got Fields of Eternia. It’s nice that we can get them in the USA.
    The only thing better than He-Man is more He-Man. I’m glad my fellow enthusiasts across the pond will be able to get the Cmon stuff. The Castle Greyskull is really cool.

      We prefer the term annually challenged. I hope you are enjoying Battleground.
      I can see myself getting the Clash for Eternia core set. I'm still deciding on whether to pick up Fields of Eternia. How have you been enjoying it? I was a bit concerned the hero combat resolution might be a little clunky.

      @@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring I’m going to say that it’s okay. It’s not elegant by any means. As I am the only one in my peer group that owns it: it has been requested, we have gotten it on the table, and my guys want to get it out again! When my gang wants to try something again that’s always nice. We have been in the middle of a several month Shadows of Brimstone hex crawl campaign and Fields has provided a nice break.

    Well. I jumped through the hoop and had a friend in the US ship it to me. And I played it just last week. Clash for Eternia is a great and fun game; very different from Battleground (which is also good!) and sufficiently different to warrant owning both. Come for a visit in Copenhagen, Kev, and we can have a game of both Battleground and Clash so you can do a comparison :-)

    • @AlwaysBoardNeverBoring

      Maybe one day! I'm glad to hear you enjoy them and that they are indeed different enough to make it worth owning both. Did you go all-in on Clash, and do you feel like the core set has enough content (something which cannot always be said of CMoN games)?

    • @JBenderP
      @JBenderP 7 місяців тому +1

      @@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring It was MotU so I went all in on Clash. Even got extra fancy dice. We only played with the Core box content (and the 3D terrain) (and Spikor, who was a strech goal exclusive), and there was plenty of gameplay value in that alone!

    As a huge MOTU fan who grew up watching and collecting the original stuff I adore the idea of getting my hands on either of these titles. But given how invested I am in other titles I just can’t justify the expense 😢
    Here’s hoping I can at least try them out some day.

    Hello, thank you for your upload.
    All 3 games are (BoE, FoE and CfE) different enough (at least for IP fans) to excuse triple purchase. But from all 3 of them I have, I could save Clash for Eternia, if I’d be forced.
    Cheers.

    I remember see those sets on Noble Knight Games but was taken aback by the costs and I already put a lot into the new HeroQuest game.
    As much as I'm a fan of MotU and PoP since it first came out 40 years ago, I also had a lot of those so-called "knockoff" toys like Combo, Golden Girl, Galaxy Warriors/Heroes/Fighters/Girls (and so many other names), etc., et al. witch I intermix with my He-Man/She-Ra sets, so what I consider to be "Masters of the Universe" is radically diverged from official canons, more so after rediscovering, and getting inspired by, the first wave mini-comics showing Eternia as a once high-tech but now war-ravaged post-apocalyptic setting littered with old artifacts monsters that might be mutants and people with mixed technological understanding.
    What I'm getting at is that my interests with MotU/PoP miniatures would be PURE kit-bashing. Prince Adam is secretly He-Man? NO! I never cared for that, even as a kid. Making up my one set of heroes and Heroines, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, to fight evil warriors of my own making, with their own not-so-black-and-white motives and methods? Oh, hell yeah!

    Whaaaaaa? Sy-klone and Jitsu? Oh, I want that! Sy-klone was one of my favourite toys. I got the rest of Clash for Eternia, and am painting my way throught that. I'd be happy to add those characters to my roster.

    • @AlwaysBoardNeverBoring

      It's good that you will be able to pick them up separately. I always liked Jitsu, although I was always team Fisto. The Clash of Arms is one of my favourite minicomics.

    ca. 4:22 : "The regionlocking is no more" is a little bit of a missinterpreatation. Even CMON explaint in their Marketing all around, that they only got the Licence for the Crowdfunding, but not for retail. Easy to miss, but still there. (I threw my Money on this game. I did the same for the Fields of Eternia Boardgame from Archon and I'm still struggling to buy Achons Battlegrounds. And in my case it would be with Shera. I have huge nostlagia for Prince Adams little Sister.)

      @@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring haha you’re not the only one. This cmon one is the one I originally wanted as it created a very interactive world. They’ve a lot of great miniatures but can I justify another huge game which is similar to one I already have.

    I'm guessing the region exclusivity was time limited and that's why we are starting to see things moving.
    It's strange to move in She-Ra when are so many other things to explore first. Maybe they are treating it as a new faction too?
    It's also weird CMON missed out Jijitsu and Cyclone in the first pass. Jijisu kicks Fistos ass all over the planet. There's probably some really bad pun in there, but I'm tired.

    • @AlwaysBoardNeverBoring
      @AlwaysBoardNeverBoring  7 місяців тому +2

      I guess so. Some people have already started suggesting Archon have lost the licence, but they dropped an announcement about organised play on Nov 30th and the She-Ra stuff is inbound.
      I'm pretty sure She-Ra is going to be another faction, and they have pushed her out for more options on that front, but there is definitely more they could be doing with the existing three factions. Evil Horde in particular is still missing some big names. And if the game runs for long enough I am sure they will want to do Snake Men as a new faction too.

    I think I'll stick to my Mega Bloks/Construx/just plain Mega He-Man mini figs. They're detailed,almost as small,and fully posable with interchangeable weapons. I honestly don't know why they aren't more popular.

    • @AlwaysBoardNeverBoring
      @AlwaysBoardNeverBoring  7 місяців тому

      I saw a big Mega Bloks Castle Greyskull in a store a few months back. It looked pretty cool, but I couldn't justify buying it.

    • @Merlynn132
      @Merlynn132 7 місяців тому

      @@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring Well,since I own it,here's the whole deal on it.
      The design is based on the Classics Grayskull,not the original. So if you want the original,there's a reproduction Mattel made that's currently running about 60-70 bucks which is a nice cheap way to get a Grayskull and it'd probably be show accurate proportionately to the minis you have considering how huge Grayskull was in the cartoon. However,the Classics Grayskull is in many ways superior to the original and it's worth a look. Just don't go looking to buy it. The Classics one runs in the thousands.
      The build was long and repetitive. Take a Lego mini's head and a 1x1 stud brick. That's what the bulk of the build is made of. Those walls? Rows and rows and rows of heads and small bricks. And it's just as tedious as it sounds. But the end result is really nice. Just remember the "handle" on top is just for looks and you need to move the castle by holding it at the bottom or even just getting a laundry basket or bin to hold it while moving it.
      The exterior looks great and the interior has all the bells and whistles. The trap door in the throne room in there,but with a modified activation method and it actually leads to a cell to dump the baddies into. The elevator works the same way it always did. And I had a ton of left over pieces for some small builds which is always nice. The orb chamber is at the top and a lot of things that were just card board and stickers are actually made up of bricks and 3D now. Except the "space suit" which is just printed on a flat tile. Considering all the mini-figs this came with,they could have included it as a figure.
      On the whole,the Mega Grayskull is well worth the current price of 150-170 dollars if you're into collecting the Mega He-Man figures or just really want a cheap alternative to getting a Classics Grayskull. If you just want a Grayskull to dick around with,I would suggest the reproduction one for cheap since,as stated,it would be proportional to your current minis and you could probably even use it as a "game board". You might have to come up with a way to make a smaller throne and bits and pieces but 3D printers,Lego pieces,and cardboard for printers are pretty easy to come by.
      Any questions?
