I really like the figure designs this wave. Especially aesthetically. Love all the wing designs on the Kyrie. Excited for the painting process
I just bought The Master Set and Battle Box from Wave 1. Now looking forward to Wave 2
@@johnharrison2086 Really looking forward to the lich Lord from wave 2!
Renegade’s painting guides are commendable. Great 8-minute rundown, RS
I love the Queen Qhyrion figure/card.
I think that one is the stand out for this wave. It's nice to FINALLY have a vydar kyrie
@@RogueScaper I know right.
thanks my dude
My goal is to get everyone to call the Wraithriders 'Rolly Bois'
Their name is too difficult to say anyway 😂 - Rowan
Fun tact: I had that in my script before you published your video. Great minds think alike! #teamrollybois
Thank you for this amazing video. I appreciate it!! Do you think heroscape as a whole will be able to reach new audiences? Right now it seems to just be the faithful community that was into the old game.. if this game can be set up in game stores it would attract more people for sure. The terrain alone always has people come o r when I’m at my game store playing
I'm hoping so! I think the environment has shifted a lot since 2010, but I'm hoping a rules light wargame is what people are looking for. I think heroscapes biggest struggle is going to be the cost to produce, and bring in new players like you mentioned. Heroscape does sell once its actually displayed, so I'm hoping the community grows.
Great recap! “His most impressive feature is fitting on a peanut base” 🤣 lmao
So how do those color codes work exactly when buying colors?
Also want to know
The color codes don't help directly, but they allow the "actual" color to be seen so you can match them when buying or mixing paints. The code shows the color used, which is not distorted by camera and other digital interferences. I'm doing some research into it now, but found a great app that you can select the color used, and it will give you a list of recommended paints in your desired brands. More on that to come!
@@RogueScaper but how can you tell what color to buy then? Is there a numerical code that helps when ordering colors?
I’m going to be very curious to see what you do with Viscerot and Cornelius. As least in the photographs, the orange and yellow respectively come off pretty loud, so your take on the coloration will great to see!
I have some plans. Monument has a weathering medium that I believe will add nice grunge and texture to the vicerott model, and I'll definitely be dulling Cornelius down a bit to make it a bit less vibrant
Is wave 1 even out in stores? I haven't seen it and my FLGS said they haven't gotten any solicitations for it. I'd get back into it if anyone near me was playing but it doesn't seem like anybody even knows it's back.
It is supposed to release in August. You can preorder online from places like Gamenerdz or Miniature Market. Your FLGS may need to contact Renegade about getting it.
Wave 1 hasn't shipped out yet, and it is expected to be shipped out late august. Renegade will also have copies available at Gencon.
