Why I Backed Masters of the Universe Clash for Eternia (reprint)

Glad I was able to cover this after being away on vacation, definitely need more Masters of the Universe on this channel. And what better way to start that trend then to talk about the reprint campaign that is now making the game available overseas AND introduces two highly asked for characters. Clash for Eternia is a battle game where 1 controller player goes up against 1-4 other players. There's also a decent solo mode to it that I've been slowly getting better at understanding, but still a bit off. It's the nostalgia factor that gets me, as this was a show I grew up with and had as many of the toys as I could get my hands on. And now here it is, on my gaming table, ready to show that I HAVE THE POWER!
Any who, here's why I decided to back this game, or at least why I backed it before and what I'm backing now. Remember, this is all just my opinion. I absolutely love this game! I really hope that they make some future content. It plays so quick and is very fun with lots of options for the characters and their skills.
If CMON can get rights to other IPs, I can see this game lasting a LONG time. There’s still a whole lot more in the MotU universe they can work with, and then I’m hoping to see things like Thundercats, Silverhawks, Brave Star, Tiger Sharks, and even more be part of the game 🤩

I made my own campaign just after I played my first game!! I'd like to see other peoples homemade campaigns!!! I loooove this game!!! I gotta get that Sy-Klone and Jitsu!!!
Can’t wait for them too!! I wish CMON made a true campaign for the game, I’ll definitely have to look up some fan mades. Game feels perfectly fit for a campaign mode.
I backed this too, but due to changes to which countries eligible for shipping it to, I had to cancel my pledge. It would just have cost me to much to get it shipped via other shipping companies. But glad everybody that pledged got this.
I mean this is NOT a cheap game, especially if you want everything. And shipping costs are still really crazy, so hopefully one day you’ll be able get some of it and enjoy the game 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I think I’m going to pick this up over the Davy jones game. Kinda bummed but I think my son would enjoy this theme better with me.
Totally get it, the theme works for this one very well. I grew up with MotU so I love everything about this game.
lol, it's SYklone, not SKYklone. It's pronounced exactly like the word 'cyclone', which is the Southern Hemisphere version of your Northern Hemisphere hurricane (has a different name because the wind spins in the opposite direction).
TOmato, toMAto 😅 Not the first thing I’ll mispronounce and won’t be the last. 🤷🏼♂️ I like his name as “Sky-clone”, but I’ll make sure to watch myself when I talk about him.
