Government should nationalise number plates. Makes no sense to allow private entities to make their own plates if they are supposed to be used in a law enforcement system.
Surprising that they bother, looking at the absolute state of some plates on the road and the fact that there are plenty of online sources that provide "road legal" plates but require absolutely zero supporting documentation to prove vehicle keeper/ownership. Got some new plates for my T6 last year, completely bog standard and road legal, but the online place I got them from didn't even ask for a V5. Or has the law changed? They also sold all sorts of of other type plates which I'm sure are only "show plates" but they know damned well they're selling them to road going cars.
The DVLA does not recognise the term “Show Plate” so any number plate that is made has to be legal. Even if your customer signs documentation to state they’ll only use it at static events etc if you supply it as a dealer you are liable! This is why we knocked number plates on the head, we supplied a show plate, the customer ticked the box acknowledging it was a show plate only then when they received the plate, realised they couldn’t use it on the road and reported us to the DVLA. With the constant changes to the law and police technology it’s a minefield and something which can lead to heavy fines and even prison time, so we opted to leave that part of the industry
@@drcl7429 I mean the video was filmed 9 months ago and we’ve had a few new fleet vehicles since being that we constantly chop and change our vehicles for development. But well done for taking the time to stalk us chief - merry Christmas 🎄

Where did you get the screws to mount it from?
Hi mate would my new plates which have a 3D gel country badge at the start of each registration fit into a Ford performance number plate holder???

C3 UKS on the rear and C3 UKX on the front? 🤔😁
Glad someone is paying attention :p
@@CarEnhancementsUK Yeah you're not dodgy at all. Neither plate is for a Ford. Police can smell you.

For a guy that’s had enough of the aggro you do say it a lot😂
