I've re-watched your method again. I can see why the trout would go for it. Very interesting. My methods for the main lake works very well for me during the summer months also. Again, I could never catch at the pond but I do very well at the main lake.

I studied the history and geography of the lake which led me to the NS. After much trials and errors, I finally started catching and like you, for the last 3/4 years, I have always limited whether it's one or 5/6 persons fishing, we've always limited at the NS.

Brother, the more I think about it, I think your system could work great for the deeper areas of the NS also. I can tell you that I've tried everything I could think of to catch fish during the winter months because the fish are no longer deep in the bottom. I've tried bobbers but I could never get far enough to where the fish are. Looking forward to try your method soon at NS.

I use a 2 inch bobber. As far as filling the bobber, it really depends. This was summer and the temperature was hot. The trouts were swimming at the bottom, so I filled the bobber all the way.

I'm not sure if there are any trout left in the pond. If there are, then try fishing in the deep side of the pond. With the hot weather, that's where they will be.

Why not use a light hook and a small lead sinker to float the power eggs off the bottom?

I tried that especially when my wife likes floaters. For some reason, the trouts won't go for that presentation.

Does bobber slide up the line or is it tied to the line? Trying to figure how the bait sinks if the eggs float

I usually let the ball slides up and down the line just like a north carolina rig setup. Some people don't like it and place a swivel or bead stopper to stop the bopper from sliding. Either way, the bait will sink as long as the bopper is filled all the way with water.

Water are warmer, so the trout would most likely be cruising on the opposite side of the RV park. Aim for deep water and use clear bulb sinkers to slowly sink down. You will not go wrong with lemon lime garlic power eggs. Hook through the first egg and the tip of the second. Use 3 eggs at a time with a 4lb test long lead line. Good luck.

@@yongfuchen7066 I've used the egg on 4 and 6 lb test line. Hasn't given me a problem yet. At times it does feel as though the line was going to snap.
