Sorry if you felt that way. The intention was never to crowd other fishermen out nor block their path. Other anglers were able to walk pass my cart and even fish next to me with no problems at all. When they ask for advice, I not only share them my secret, but also share the bait I have with them and even help rig their lines so they too can catch some trout.

They are not stocking at the pond anymore. Likely there won't be any trout left except for bass and blue gills. I'm heading over to Amador next. Last time I tested the eggs there, it also works. But the lake there are pretty deep. So an egg sinker might be your best bet. Good luck.
People can show up to plant day at Camanche, but it doesn't mean they can catch a trout. And thank you for correcting the English but definition of trout is a noun plural and trouts could also be use per the dictionary.

I agree with you and others about how to "jig", but there will be times when you have to change the speed of the retrieve if they are not hitting.

Yes. But not at the pond. You would need to go to the lake.

25 bucks. If you come here often, buy the annual pass. But right now they are no longer planting trout until October.
