So someone offered to donate a huge sum to the Cancer Awareness Trust if Robert would sing Stairway -- and he did. First time in sixteen years. What a class act, and a very heartfelt performance. Beautiful moment.
Hi Owen. Michael J Fox has donated huge donates to Finnish Parkinson's Research (which we appreciate here in Finland) and also don't want to brag but cancer treatment here is more than good. And progessing all the time.
Being a Zep fan for 50 years, I can never tire of this song. And bravo to Robert to accept the fact that he can no longer hit the notes at the end of the song, and so improvised with a beautiful slowed down version. That would have actually sounded good 50 years ago too. Thank you Robert and Andy. Prayers to both for good health.
I think the "experience" listening to this song is lesser with that slowed down final... I can be OK with the lack of wind instruments at the beginning, the guitar version is OK, but the final must be like the original one. Jimmy Page's guitar solo was performed admirably by the unknown guitar player, I'm sure that choir lady or background singer lady would've been able to hit those high notes and give the audience and us watching three years later a closer experience to the original version.
Nicely said Rick. My sentiments exactly. Thank you, Robert. Thank you, Andy. I've been listening to you both since you guys started your own solo careers in 80's. Here's to good health.
3 years of battling same cancer (prostate cancer with metastasis/stage 4). It is extremely uplifting to see someone that has been through the treatment experiences we share and have the strength to be performing so well up on the stage again. You give me hope and inspiration to keep fighting everyday. Thank you Andy Taylor.

He said he wanted NOTHING to do with Page because Zep music was like "dinosaur music...but he does Zep music with other musicians..Plant is a hypocrite. Huge Zep fan here too.
Robert Plant is bringing back a memory of days that have passed on. He's not 23 anymore. You can't expect it to sound like it did then. He wrote the lyrics. I love this song. God bless you Robert. You are a talent from the 70"s that will always resonate in my heart. ❤
Exactly. Too many people expect to hear the record they remember. I'd so much rather hear someone rework the song like this or not be able to hit all the notes but sing live a little differently with conviction than have a track playing or the singer just pointing to the crowd on all the high notes.

Robert Plant is a total class act! I couldn't help but sing along. It is great to see Andy up there playing as well. A lifetime of great memories from both of these gentlemen.
Still one of my favorite songs. Regardless of age, Robert Plant still evokes the same feelings out of me that I had the first time I heard this song so many years ago.
Well done Robert! This is an old saying... The gift that keeps on giving, and giving, and giving... Thank you for so much and much more to come. Much love.
Saw Led Zeppelin live in 1969 just prior to the release of their 2nd album. It was a concert I will never forget. They were in their top form and every note played and every octave reached was perfection. What a great memory!!
Each musician on that stage has a memory forever cemented in their minds, not only are they performing with one of the greatest singers in rock history which is an incredible honor for them. But to perform one of the greatest rock songs, and most likely the last time Plant will ever perform it. What a memory to have, and would look good on your resume. I would hope it's not the last time he will perform it. I think Page, Plant, and Jones could write a great acoustic album together never say never! Great rendition of stairway 😃
IMHO Led Zeppelin is the best band in history. They were just on another level. Amazing musicians. Great to see Robert with Duran Duran's Andy performing this fantastic timeless song.
Very nice. Especially seeing Andy play and Plant with his unique voice. In the final seconds, it's thrilling to see the guitarist in the background almost crying with emotion. Beautiful video

Robert Plant sounds incredible at 75! He's wise enough to know his range has diminished with age and to therefore stay within it.
So wonderful to see Robert Plant on staging, he sounds wonderful! Hope he considers treating fans to these type of performances more often. Would be a real special treat if he made an appearance with Jimmy, JPJ, and Jason.
A força dessa música é infinita!
Robert Plant is a total class act! I couldn't help but sing along. It is great to see Andy up there playing as well. A lifetime of great memories from both of these gentlemen.
So Happy to see Andy looking good, smiling and enjoying himself 🤘😎
Brilliant of Robert Plant to emphasize the lyric at the end. Brought tears to my eyes...
Much love.
Wow God bless Andy Taylor love love you. Thank you Robert Plant. 🙏
Saw Led Zeppelin live in 1969 just prior to the release of their 2nd album. It was a concert I will never forget. They were in their top form and every note played and every octave reached was perfection. What a great memory!!
I am so jealous of you😂
Each musician on that stage has a memory forever cemented in their minds, not only are they performing with one of the greatest singers in rock history which is an incredible honor for them.
Amazing Robert is an epic legend ❤ & The hairs that stand up for Jimmys part.
Me da mucha nostalgia ver a estos grandes maestros en sus ultimas
Very nice. Especially seeing Andy play and Plant with his unique voice. In the final seconds, it's thrilling to see the guitarist in the background almost crying with emotion. Beautiful video
True
Bucket list moment for them. So cool to see the younger ones respect and honor this who came before them.
How blessed is the band!? It’d be a dream to play with Robert!
They are incredible..
Andy I wish you well again!
Brilliant Robert. And best wishes Andy❤
I would love to see them tour one last time
Wow amazing to see these 2 together---I cannot believe how good Robert sounds...Great work by Andy and the other guitar player
Glad you were there to film this historic moment for us.
Much love and blessings to Robert Plant and Andy ♥️♥️
que time de peso, ver o Guy Pratt ali mandando ver no baixo, o mestre Andy, meu deusssss as palminhas do Plant no meio da música, inacreditável, 2023 estás sendo um baita ano!
Wow, such an elegant solution to a part, where Mr. Plant sang the highest notes when he was younger! 👏 One of my most favorite songs in the world (not only of LZ). One of the most beautiful songs ever, in my opinion. 😌
I am in awe and honored to hear Robert and Andy play my all time favorite song!
over 50 years ..this song touches me still
I was brought to tears by this wonderful performance. Thank you for all the years of beautiful music, Robert. You have been and still are one of the greatest gifts to music.
It's great to see Andy playing. And this is a real treat, seeing Plant perform this great song. It sounds awesome.
Older,wiser,you still got it Robert.Famtastic!
He still sounds amazing! I was 13 when I discovered this song. It's been my go-to when I'm needing to relax. Thank you Robert Plant ❤
Wonderful to hear and well done for a good cause!♥️🎶
Brilliant! God bless Andy and Robert and band!
ROBERT I LOVE YOU!!
Спасибо Планту и всем музыкантам.❤
Creo que no practicaron mucho los guitarristas 😂😢
What a setting for Robert to sing after all these years this masterpiece , low key place and yes Andy may you keep rock n and never stop. God bless
Totally awesome!
Robert Plant is all time best Rock and Roll singer!! Long live Robert and Andy!!
My favourite song for a very long time. Cannot get tired listening to it. Even at this age, Robert is killing it! Bravo.
Juss so great as always. He will always be the best of Rock music! He's so generous as ever helping in needs. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
精彩🎸由最高峰演繹過萬次經典名曲,直到今日80歲唱solo呢段冇氣😅又有另一風味,小弟由80年代認識你,到今日都係聽 Led Zeppelin !! (睇下有冇香港粉絲先)
