I agree with the wider trucks, at those speeds width is on your side. The bajaboard has like 20 inches and the Trampa has 18
Wider track width can help with stability for sure, just like larger feet can help human stability... But humans always come with the exact size foot they need to walk & run, nothing too big or too small. The Raptor 2 is a nimble beast, we don't want to tame the beast too much, we like it lively. We honestly don't think that wider trucks are a major benefit.

Raptor 2.1 shipments continue to be delayed! Mine was supposed to be January. Then February. Then, end of March. Now they are saying mid April. So disappointing. Buyer beware
how do you get the kit? i wanna make my own
so i told myself that the solar deck is totally stupid... but i calculated if u used 20*96 area you could theoretically get 31W of energy (Ideal day and ideal angle) that would also need to be converted upwards for higher voltage (maybe 80% efficiency) so 24W. That is 2km of charge per hour on sun. Not bad... not great but not bad. For me i think not worth the hassle.

Yah typical builds are $700-$1200 range but custom parts on these are hard to price since they're one of a kind. Motor is about $100 same for deck, mounts and trucks typically a couple hundred, ESC between $150-300, and same for battery cells.

@@mareksgw9237 Yup don't doubt some of these came in at 2k or more was saying if you don't go all out bells and whistles and high end components can do a build for $700-1200 range so these are something more :)

That would be more cool than practical. It would take FOREVER to get a significant charge back from solar
Yah about 1000W per square meter hits earth in ideal conditions and our panels only get about 20% efficiency so only get 200W of it again ideal conditions for a 200kWh battery would take 1000 hrs to charge with 1 square meter. The extra weight and charge circuitry also reduces overall range.
