      MBoards it is amazing the things u sell but do u have more budget price range kits...?? 😔 a lot of ppl i know come from skating background n they have decks so they just wanna mount cheap kits and see if they wanna dive into e skating. I wish there could b rly cheap ones too. Eg cheap hub motor with cheap esc (just for ppl to rly get the feel of e skating at realll cheap price)

      Music x Tech if you want cheap you need to go through a chinese direct company. Building your own e-board is actually more expensive part for part then buying the complete board. Some good options are Meepo, backfire, Yeeplay, teamgee. For what you get it’s a better deal but your still looking at around 350 usd starting price for these entry level boards. Also make sure you buy from someone that has a 6 month warranty minimum, a lot of things can go wrong with an e-board, I speak from experience.

      I just had a look and don't see an AWD-4 motor option. Would be good for a AWD-4 motor options to be available. I have a dual motor hub drive board currently and want to make my own AWD board. Not interesting in making a dual motor board as I already have that.

    Dang! Very nice. Super user friendly. I think the only thing that would be a nice addition is the ability to see a short description of each product as you select it. That way we don’t have to have two windows open to see the specs of the products selected. My build came out to about $1170 haha! Dual Motor belt drive 10s3p..

    Hey, awesome videos! Ive got a few questions. It strikes me that different battery setups would be optimal for different rides... Is there an easy way to set a board up so that you can customize voltage and capacity at will. Say I want 3 5s in series for 15v to max out speed. Then want to quickly change them to parallel 5v for capacity. What is the compatabilty with motors and other parts to do this?

    The Kit-Builder is really awesome. Is it possible to build a dual Belt motor setup with the 6374 motors on a caliber truck? Is there enough space for it? And can the Dual Motor ESC with the remote hold up with the two motors, or would it be to weak?
    Greetings from germany,
    Filip

    • @MBoardsco
      @MBoardsco  5 років тому +2

      There isn’t enough room for 2 6374s to sit side by side on caliber trucks. We’ve seen builders mount one motor under the board and the other motor behind the board. Generally you’d go with dual 6355s.
      The basic ESCs are good starter ESCs or a more affordable alternative, but with any type of performance build you’ll want to go with Vescs. They will be much more reliable.

    I've just been looking at the Boards - Dual Belt Driven Motor ESC

    also what would be the biggest battery I can use for it?

    • @MBoardsco

      We’ve seen customers run dual 6374 motors with it with success, but we’d recommend dual 6355s.
      As long as the voltage matches your ESC you’ll be good to use as large of a battery as you’d like.

    What speed would 8s be?

    • @MBoardsco
      @MBoardsco  5 років тому

      Top speed is determined by a number of factors. Wheel size, battery voltage, rider weight, gearing ratio, KV rating.
      With that being said you should be able to achieve 18-22mph.
      Just an estimate. The other factors will play a roll in the actual outcome.
