Bro I went into concrete lines about a week b4 writing this..heard about it there...then a week later went to evolve and hit them up..only spoke to the check out chick..and she seemed a bit clueless..so up to date..it seems my source was misinformed which has given me a false report...however Enertion would be my choice for performance and durability..plus one of the boys in the video here I know so u can't go wrong with this mob...Jason's made a top product..I'd say evolve will bring something out soon...but something in the backwoods may have changed the release date...just start rolling bro!!

Raptor 2.1 shipments continue to be delayed! Mine was supposed to be January. Then February. Then, end of March. Now they are saying mid April. So disappointing. Buyer beware

It would be nice to find a board with higher speeds and comprable mileage to what I have right now though. If I could do that I would buy it right now!
I have an inboard M1. It doesn't get quite the speed more like 20 miles an hour. But I've quick swap interchangeable batteries. I have to lug around five 2 lb batteries. but I guarantee you my board for sure gets 24 miles out of the six batteries I have. And that's with me living on a very hilly very curvy roads. Inboard said that each battery would last longer than it did too. I don't understand why you guys all fudge the numbers. but at least with my board I can get extra batteries which make up for that lack of actual specs. And if I want more miles I just have buy another battery.

Its Been 4 months and they still have not shipped mine. smh website said 8weeks. I even contacted them to confirm the 8wks before i purchased and was clearly lied to. They say April sometime. If not here by next month will be canceling my order.
That is if you can cancel the order... I will do the same if they go over the 4 to 6 weeks they confirmed...

Any plans to reply to your customers? I have an order since February 2019 and till now it is not shipped. To make it worse, no one replies to the customer support tickets nor emails.
Is the raptor 2.1 also good for beginners?
Recommend riding in slow mode for the first few rides, get used to the board first, how it handles and responds to throttle input, then you can switch to R-spec :)
You can also reduce power output in the Focbox Unity app, so you can make it super weak at first, then slowly add more power as you become a more confident rider.
I have a serious question. I just watched a video of a guy doing the range test in slow mode. Specs said it should get 40 km roughly 25 miles range. He only got 12 miles in slow mode!! I was thinking about buying one of these boards until I saw that. What's going on with these range specs??
The absolute maximum would be 40km range, the environment and many other variables will often lead to different results. On average people will use 10wh/km.
Check out Jomant's video Raptor 2. 1 range test in slow mode. I don't see any crazy Hills looks all pretty level to me. It would have to get pretty crazy to cut the mileage in half. And that's in half on slow mode most people expected to get a little less mileage in fast mode but it's not even in fast mode! Makes it even more suspicious. I'm interested in this board but your response didn't explain anyting compared to what I saw on the video.
Riding Slow will always be less range, if you want to travel longer distance in shorter period of time you must maintain a very high average speed.
Really that's funny because every other board company out there implies the exact opposite. When you're sucking all that torque and power it tends to chew through the battery faster. In fact most of them actually say that you don't want to be in your top speed you want to be kind of close to with an average speed most of the way but not in slow-speed either! I don't know if you think that you're just talking to someone who doesn't understand what's going on. But I own my own Electric Board and I've been researching and playing with these for a couple years now.
You know what I appreciate it but you seem more like a Salesman then someone is honestly trying to help someone make a great decision on a good board
