*Disclaimer: Unfortunately, the UA-cam algorithm thrives on titles and thumbnails that could be perceived as clickbait. Although I find this particularly distasteful, as a means of reaching a new audience or encouraging my current audience to invest their time into my videos, I must work with the algorithm rather than against it. Statistics have highlighted just how effective aligning titles with the algorithm is and although this can be frustrating for many (myself included), I will always ensure that my titles:
1. Never promote false promises or unrealistic expectations.
2. Will more often than not ask a question.
3. Are worded in a manner that although might be perceived a certain way, are still open to interpretation.
Appealing to more potential viewers gives me the opportunity to further the spread of what I believe to be useful information surrounding the topic in question, in addition to a positive message which often surrounds mental health, with the goal of helping as many people as possible.
It should also be noted that the majority of my videos are based on audience suggestions. ~90% of my audience are women, therefore, the majority of videos are created to appeal to my dominant audience.
It must also be noted that although goals often vary amongst individuals, a lot of my opinions on movements are within the context of building muscle (hypertrophy) and therefore, should be considered with that in mind.
Thank you for giving me your time.*

Caroline is the real deal.
SHES THE QUEEN!!❤
Comparing Caroline to Blogilates isn't even like apples and oranges, it's like apples and snail farts. Idk what Blogilates credentials are, if any, but it's clear Caroline is an actual trainer with real experience.
Agree
Snail farts
Great analogy haha... Caroline's already at the finish line when Ho is still busy applying makeup and checking out whether her outfit is cute enough and worrying if Shein's gonna copy them lmao. I truly can't stand her omg. Used to do some of her pilates more than a decade ago and along the way found how much misinformation she spewed plus her diet advice were (at the time) inconsistent and dangerous to some extent. She also has a main character syndrome imo.
ok listen, I agree Caroline knows her things about workouts. Blogilates's mission was not meant to get an athlete's body and not even losing weight. It was meant as an introduction to the world of fitness for many girls and women (men wouldn't obviously be the target market) who lacked the motivation to start working out, and who found in blogilates (her videos back then where very colorful and uplifting) a FUN way of starting to excercise so now they can move on to harder workouts when they feel like it.
That's what happened to me. As a teenager I started with her, then moved on with some other at home lifting (Caroline's included) workouts and cardio routines. I still do some of old blogilates videos because they are useful to MAINTAIN BODY MOVEMENT. She is meant for normal beginner-intermediate people. Not gymrats, not gymbros. Now she is more of a bsuiness woman with a brand than a fitness trainer, but more power to her, she did good for a lot of people.
@@summerrose1545 I remembered her tiny burger recipe... And I was a sprinter
I still routinely go back to Caroline’s workouts and do them over and over again! She changed the way I view weightlifting and made me want to be strong
With Caroline epic programmes made me loose weight and gain muscles. My body is a different body. Only at home with different weight dumbells .
But consistently 3-4 days a week. I never did the cardio on the programmes. I was 122 kg and now 100 kg. 170 height. But if you look at me I look 80 kg. No fat solid and beautiful body. She transform my life and body. I still doing today and I never got bored with Caroline she is truly amazing it really does miracles. Consistency is the 🔑 key
I really like Caroline! Her content has made a really huge, positive impact in my life! I'm very thankful. Blogilates was a very different experience for me. I remember using Blogilates right before my wedding when I felt insecure about my body, and a little after that. For me, using Blogilates' content reinforced disliking my body and feeling like I needed to change it, whereas Caroline's reinforced more neutrality and simply celebration of movement/seeing what my body could do. With this being said, everyone has a different experience, and I certainly don't want to invalidate someone's positive experience with Blogilates. Caroline's content has just been a better experience for me mentally, when comparing the two :)
Well said and I fully agree! I’m a big fan of CG!
As a blogilates subscriber during my earlier fitness years and currently using Caroline's workout person as well I felt seen by this post❤
@@laxsneha aww I’m so glad ❤️
CG is my most fav trainer on UA-cam. Could be the only one actually.
I agree. Even if I can't do the full workout, I always leave the class feeling positive. Her positive energies is infectious.
Caroline got me into strength training in 2021 and her videos gave me the confidence to start lifting in the gym. I don't watch her much anymore, but I will always have a lot of respect for her and be thankful for her guidance and motivation when I was a total beginner.
I'm exactly the same.. Caroline was my route into lifting 😊💪
I'm a die hard girvinator. Many years ago I did follow blogilates and I never saw any results. I'm so thankful for CG. Found this video super interesting! Thanks for sharing it!
Same experience with blogilates
really same, but I cannot discredit her, because she was the first one to actually make me interested in working out. As a teenager, she really caught my attention with her colorful videos and sister-like talk. She helped me establish a routine. And that alone is very useful. I moved on to harder workouts. Still Blogilates gets her credits.
@ClaudiaM-om4em that's a great point and she's s phenomenal designer
SAME !
I did see results after trying blogilates but that’s because it triggered an eating disorder. 🙃
As an ex-die hard blogilates follower, following her UA-cam Workouts religiously, I always wondered why I still can‘t do any push ups even though I worked out with her 6 days a week.
That‘s many years ago. Thanks to you Harry I learned so much and became a chunky gym girl embracing her strength and chonkiness 🥰
Caroline is the best online workout coach I’ve seen. She is so challenging in a way that’s beneficial. Every exercise she chooses makes sense. I hate when online coaches have you doing some extravagant movement just so it looks good but it does nothing for the muscle we are trying to train. She sticks to the basics but changes the variations to make it more or less challenging. I wish she posted new video but she has an app now so I’ll have to purchase to workout with her. She does have banded workout videos but she gives a variation for those who don’t have bands. I’m going to check out your videos to see if you’re even half as good as she
Caroline is the only trainer I've followed workout wise. I have 30 plus years experience in fitness and worked more in the industry in my 20s so it was nice not to bother about creating my own programs at home during the pandemic and Caroline really suited what I wanted but I've never done all of her UA-cam workouts (not all appeal to me). I get that you review You Tube workouts but boy does she have better bodyweight only ones where she may call them "Callisthenics" . She also does have a lot of band workouts on You Tube so looks like you've just chosen the "worst" of her videos ... which isn't really that bad for a good push workout. Btw, that crow pose is something I'd do in a yoga class so good on Caroline for having a chance to "show off" a really hard pose (I'm sure most people doing this workout would just stop and stare in wonder :) Now Caroline has an app and she really has upped the anti and does more of your traditional training styles with her own flair of course. Her new program, Intent , alternating between upper and lower body days with different volume - low-high is definitely up my ally and I think she's a smart lady changing her training modalities. After all, if we want to keep training for many more decades to come, we can't just do heavy heavy heavy all the time. I know that when I was younger, I probably trained more in your style and other you tubers you review but I have no incentive at all in my late 40s and keeping strong and injury free while enjoying my workouts is my priority ! It seems like there just isn't a comparison here between these two people you're reviewing. I love your content but you really should check out more CG's recent material, it's just so much better ! Keep up the good posts :)
I mean CG is amazing her content is top tier
Really love Caroline’s workouts. I still do her old workouts. I don’t know the other lady. Not sure I want to waste my time waving my arms about. 100% Caroline.
Waving your arms around is a classic pilates move. The thing is, it works for already thin women who want some strength but do not need to lose fat or build muscle (for example, ballerinas do "arm waves" as their training, but of course that doesn't keep them lean, their diet does )
That other woman is ridiculous!!!!
@@fitgrannyfranny watch Dr. Bergs's video on arm fat. He says blogilates "useless arm movements" actually helps with fascia toning, and thus toning the arms.
@@ClaudiaM-om4em Ummm okay. I'm not looking to tone. I hate that word. I'm looking for muscle gains. Give me big ass guns.
@@ClaudiaM-om4em Blogilates has skinny ass arms.
I really appreciate and admire how much emphasis you always put on reminding that we're not going after them, just their content. That kindness is really important in videos like this, and can be easy to lose track of. I know I haven't always been great at separating people from behavior, I think that's a pretty universal experience, which is why there's beauty in trying again! Thanks so much for being a good example of this, reminding us all to do our best to lead with compassion :)
In quarantine, when I had never been to the gym before or had intentionally tried to build muscle and strength, I started doing Carolines workouts every day and I loved them.
The best part was, that when I actually started going to the gym I had already practiced a lot of the classic movements (DB chest press, hip thrusts, Bulgarian split squats, etc) before thanks to Caroline, so I feel like it made my beginning in the gym a lot less scary and more effective, and for that I will be forever grateful.
Blogilates is doing what we did in late 80s like Jane Fonda. When I first started teaching fitness classes, this is part of what we did for group exercise! Lol
🤣 “she’s talking and moving her body a bit”
Oh man, can you imagine Harry reacting to Jane Fonda or Denise Austin?
@@battlebevythis is now my dream. Retro reaction.
you know, if we didn't feed ourselves all that crap industry feed us today, blogilates (like Jane Fonda) back then would be all we need to be healthy and stay thin. But of course, we can eat everything and just go bulk to the gym!
@ClaudiaM-om4em the option isn't Blogilates or Bulk. 99% of women can workout with weights and get toned. Bulk is also subjective. Muscle hypertrophy means your muscles DO get slightly bigger if you challenge yourself. Bit I was a group exercise instructor for 28 years and a personal trainer and I spent a LOT of time trying to dispel these myths. Do what makes you want to move and feel good but be Educated if it is helping you achieve your personal goals
The muscle most exercised by Blogilates is the jaw muscle in the constant forced (fake) smiling
😁🤔
😅😅😅😅😅
Loved the video & completely agree with all your points. However, you could argue that most people doing an at home 'arm' workout actually want to do an upper body workout. So whilst your points about shoulders & chest not being the arms are valid, I think them being included is actually beneficial for the intended audience.
A really good bicep exercise from home: bicep curl with the grocery bags cuz we all know we aren’t taking that second trip to the car
@May-qb3vx LOL 🤣👍 True!
I should use my dog since she always wants to participate. She struggles quite a bit in process but hey it means more resistance. 😅
I'm getting flashbacks to Blogilates talking about carrying all of her groceries in one go.
Love your videos Harold, always learn something new, thank you!
I do both their workouts and love both Caroline & Blogilates! On my weight days I do Caroline and love that she goes slow so I can use the heaviest weight I can used with proper form and on my non-weight days I do Blogilates (don't knock her till you try one of her workouts) she makes your muscles BURN and I like that she talks non stop about funny things, it helps distract you from the pain your in! I like variety- I do many different trainers on youtube and many different types of workouts to work my muscles in many different ways - to keep shocking them, my muscles never know what I'm gonna do! I'm 60 and a size 8 so it works for me! :)
I love Caroline's workouts. I seem to turn to her whenever I have to stay home and need to fit something quick in, while still progressing toward my goals.
Caroline kept me going during lockdown, when i couldn't go to the gym.
I use Carolines App and love her workouts and I combine them with Harrys advices. Both together are perfect for me. They helped me to get stronger and to heal after a bad back injury. I’m so grateful that they invest so much time to help us to improve❤️
Always appreciate getting the right kind of workout advice from you Harry. Thank you.
Thank you!
Working out with Caroline you have results
omg speaking of being at home and not having many options- we're moving to a new apartment and they have a fitness center, I'm so excited😭
Thanks for another great vid. Stay well 💜
I discovered your channel very recently 👋. This is the second video i watched on your channel and i like how honest and transparent you are without hating/shaming people you really inform us about fitness and health and i immediately subscribed after watching this 🔔
Thank you so much!
Used to blogilates a lot but stopped when she quit making workouts cause I got tired of doing the same workouts on the calendar over and over with no new content and now I went over to doing move with nicole and she actually includes weight and body weight in some of her workouts
Why Blogilates is not doing workout videos anymore?
@@MaReAnNiZzHa She said the fitness community got too toxic and she constantly get comments on her body. And I dont doubt that some of the critiques on her workouts probably played a part too
working with Caroline is awesome.she won me over with calf workouts.most do lower body but then forget calves are part of lower body❤
Love carolines upper body workouts ❤ i think blogilates workout could maybe be useful for gymnasts or ballet dancers for maintaining arm positions with dance elements. But even with that you could go way more sport specific, i would not use her workouts. I used to coach gymnastics and our conditioning was more like carolines (using weights, pull up bar, ropes etc and progressively overloading). Those gymnasts were super strong 💪
Even dancing those are more warm up exercises. You do those at the beginning of class, or between sessions. Plus serious dancers workout like regular athletes- strength training, calisthenics, ropes and bands, and lots of core work.
@@ana_d_73 Yep, I danced for years as a child, and I don't see the utility of any of the flapping about in the video. A lot of keeping the arms where they should be comes down to engaging muscles in the back. We spent a lot of time on the floor doing body weight exercises.
I spent so many years doing blogilates-type workouts, wondering why I was getting no results, assuming something was wrong with me, and giving up. My meathead brothers told me how they bulked and cut and that if I lifted, I would change my body and I was like, 'no I'm a girl and feminine I need to twirl in a circle and eat a celery stalk and all be skinnnnnnnyyyyy!' When that didn't work, I gave up. Then I found TFNL, Shredded Sports Silence, and evidence-based body recomposition and had to admit the meatheads were right. But I'm grateful to TFNL and SSS for helping explain and demystify the process.
Love Caroline. I use her app and have started the Intent program. It is difficult but I love it. My whole upper body is sore from Tuesday's upper body workout
How’s the app? I just finished Epic 3 and I’m now doing Epic 2. Was thinking about getting the app just so I could customize the plan a bit (can you do that on the app?) I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!
@@spa-peggymeatballs4861 I absolutely love the app! It is so worth it. I have had it for a year since she launched it and I do not regret it. It has more than just the amazing workouts and programs it has meal ideas, and extremely well researched articles related to health/wellness. You can't really customize it (from my experience) but she does have a beginner program on there. Most of the programs are more intermediate/advanced though. She does have various workouts on there though if you want some shorter or more focused workouts
I'd also love to know what you think about the app ❤❤
@@queenkoi love the app, it is worth it
I love Caroline’s workouts, I always look forward to her workouts.
I added the Bulgarian SS to my routine... now I know why you hate SS.
It's TFNL time baby!! 🎊 Love props to Caroline. Just finished one of her workouts a few minutes ago. I agree...tricep dips mess with my shoulders too. I do have dumbbells at home so when I'm at home that's what I do.
good job! I'm currently using her fuel series!
same here, I am so sore from Caroline's workout that I did two days ago
@@melann7380 dude they are so tough😂
@@PocoMuses That's a good one. I mix it up but Iron is my fave.
Same
If I had to choose one, it would be Caroline.
You could do pull-ups underneath a stable table to train your biceps and back at home.
I once did a 1 month no weights arm workout challenge, before a friend's wedding to try to get slimmer arms for my dress.....surprise surprise it did absolutely nothing for me. I really thought I could spot reduce fat by doing it
Caroline is awesome 👌 so well educated on fitness and nutrition. I have paid for her app and couldn't be happier. I don't have time to go to the gym at the moment so doing her programmes at home are awesome. I've never felt or looked better.
How do I feel like I know the outcome of this comparison😅
We can’t give it away 🤫
When I started training about three years ago, I started with Madfit and Blogilates. That was a great start, but for the last two years I have been training with Caroline and that was the best decision. Her workouts are usually incredibly challenging and therefore have transformed my body and mind a lot.
9:31 per the pulling question, you can do a row with a door frame. It's FAR from optimal, especially turning the palms out to grab the frame, but you can use that. You can also put a broom stick across two chairs and do inverted rows.
This is bloody solid!
@@TFNL just gotta get creative! I've also used a backpack with textbooks for some impromptu bicep work
I think Caroline actually does have a workout somewhere in her lot of you tube workouts where she has the broom over chairs for inverted rows and she also demonstrates it in her very snazzy fully kitted out home gym !
Or under a table, if you have one that's heavy/solid enough. Or under a bunk bed if you have one.
Caroline is simply amazing . She changes your whole workout in fitness and training . She is so motivational. She knows what she is talking about and you see results with her . She made me fall in love with training . To me there is no comparing her to anyone . Not only because she knows her business but because she is simply inspiring . She just make you wanna be better and n is how to get you there at the same time .. die hard girvanator for life .
I've tried both and neither has worked for me. Sydney and barre (Jacquelin) seem to do the job. I love Sydney's talking. 😁
I hate that.talking is so annoying for me 🤷🏼♀️
I've been working out with Sydney for 4 years. She's my go to every time! Tried Caroline, she's amazing but since she went to an app you had to pay for, I stuck with Sydney as her content is free, and it works!
@@dm9489 i prefere to pay Caroline's app.
Please review Caroline Girvan newest program Intent I think it would be more useful since she now is using heavier weights than the YT times...
Where is the new program?
@@EA-tf5jqUnfortunately on her new app. 2 week free trial then after that it's about 100 dollars a year.

Caroline is the best!!!! I have seen my body transform using her workout programs! Finished FUEL, EPIC, and nearly finished with EPIC ENDGAME. Huge fan and supporter of CG! I’m excited to try her training app!
Yes!!!
I did caroline's workout for months, and surprised with the result! My strength and balance was get up very very well.
I love Caroline’s workouts as a trainer everyone needs a trainer and I choose her due to being in my mid 40s and wanting to build muscle for longevity and the aesthetic being a bonus. I guess it depends on your goal as to why you do certain workouts not everyone on here is for everyone so variety is key, so some May suit Caroline more and some people may choose blogilates ..I believe as long as you start somewhere and the workouts make you feel good mentally you are onto a winner! 🙌🏽❤️ getting ‘technically correct should be taught by a 1-2-1 trainer if your really passionate about strength in particular xx
im a hugeeeee caroline supporter!! she really is the real deal and i've been following along her workouts for quite some time and my muscle mass has increased A TON. I recommend her videos to any friends that want to take weightlifting more seriously. And she isnt like other influencers that says "abs in 10 minutes". She's actually REALISTIC. SO PLEASE IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOME WORKOUT CHANNEL, DONT WALK. RUN TO HER CHANNEL.
Honestly Blogilates stuff is really great, you just have to do it for a few days. It’s tougher than she makes it look. If you can join her and follow it all, you’ll be surprised how it changes. I used to clown my sister for doing it, then I tried and my ass got kicked. It’s really A1
Girvan is great, I like her barbell workout video
I agree! Her moves look like they would be easy but they’re actually prettt challenging especially some of her ab workouts!
blogilates workouts are maybe more about endurance than strength, also easing your way into working out. they are cool too, even if there are more effective things out there. Things doesnt have to be so black and white.
Caroline is THE BEST.
I used CG for Ab work in the past but have since become a fan of her workouts in general, whether Full bod, calisthenics or dumbell. I think she's the real deal. Obviously experienced, full of tips, always encouraging. I've seen real progress even though there are v tough challenges. Don't know the other person.
Caroline was the reason I got back into training after having my third baby, which led me to joining the gym again, which led me to competing in my first Body Building show. Even on some days when life is super busy I pick up my dumbbells and follow Caroline - I think she's top tier!
Obviously Caroline rocks!❤
Caroline is the queen.I found good results with her workouts.
I love Caroline’s workouts!
CG got me into weights and really changed my body!
I really enjoy Caroline’s workouts
Would love to see you critique Sami Clarke’s Form workouts (free trial for 7 days) one day!
Caroline is a great trainer , love her content … she is the best
I love Caroline so much!❤
Carolines workouts are by far the best Ive ever done!
Very unfair comparison, blogilates is not even a contender.
I always wonder do pulses and taking the muscle to fatigue without weights result in any kind of benefit? The internet often says it does, but does that make any sense? So barre, pilates etc, worthless?
Barre and pilates often uses body weight as resistance and when done properly it can be a good form of excercise. The clips he showed from blogilates were just ineffective movement wise.
I'm a big fan of Caroline. I jumped on the Chloe Ting train around covid and dabbled in strength training. I discovered Caroline's workouts about a year ago and haven't looked back. I see results. I feel so much more confident. There's too many channels out there with no credentials spreading misinformation about working out.
I work with Caroline and i love her workouts
Pull-ups off a table kind of work!
Caroline helped me get into strength training
😭comparing both of them is like comparing 2 really different things
I love CG. I lift in the gym 3x/ week but I have a lot of issues with stability in my joints. Doing CG videos once a week or so has helped with some of my stability issues and I feel safer using heavier weights.
If you want a strenuous Pilates workout Lydia magnoli , and also barlates blitz , are challenging even for myself , and iv been doing Pilates for 10 years
I love them both! I have been working out with Juliette Wooten lately. She incorporates Pilates, yoga and strength. I believe the workouts all depend on a specific person's muscle memory and metabolism. I'm not an expert, it is just what I have experienced.
What do you think of nourish move love
Blogilates videos are so boring. I would argue that alone makes them not great for beginners.
I was/am a beginner and even I started with a 1,5 kg dumbells.
Does this mean that any Pilates or yoga movement is a waste of time? Or is it primarily Blogilates weightless arms workouts. Are her legs/glutes workouts equally ass useless? What if we added weights to these?
No! Pilates is amazing. Blogilates is bs. Try "move with nicole" instead.
Lack of biceps analysis but never a lack of biceps from you.
Caroline is amazing, and I've got the muscles to prove it.
Caroline every time.
Blogilates seems more concerned about looking pretty/graceful in her movements than in doing anything useful. Her movements look like they belong with belly dancing than in building muscles.
Hi friends!
Hello
Hi! :)
@@TFNL a new TFNL video to brighten my day! :)
Hi Poco!!! 😊😊
@@maryhamric hey Mary! :)
The clothing that blogilates creates is amazing.
Yes! I'm actually wearing some of her leggings right now 😁 Cassey was a great introduction to home fitness when the only experience I had was high school gym class. But as she's mentioned in multiple videos, her dream was always to be a fashion designer. I think that's why she hasn't released a new workout video on UA-cam in years, but she's always blessing my timelines with her beautiful designs 💗
Yo amo los entrenamientos de Caroline 💪
😅 I purchase Blogilates items to do Caroline Girvan workouts. And on days when I need to just move Blogilates. Need to put in work Caroline.
Used to be an avid Blogilaties fan back in my youth. Now, not so much and since Harry has spread his positive information, I doubt I will go back.
I did notice that Harry you have an ear piercing hole? Since we aren't having funny hats back, may I suggest funny earrings?
I adore Caroline so much for her approach to fitness. Finally, it's not "get thinner, pump your ass, dear women", but a message about health and muscles
I would love for you to review & provide feedback on my workouts! Just an almost 40yr old working mom sharing my workouts I do from home. Strength training, kickboxing, cardio, etc😁
Caroline rocks. When I do her challenges mixed up with Heather Robertson and Anna I have huge results.
Caroline is queen. I've had great results.
I switch because cg, heather robertson, and sydney cummings. Think they are the top 3
ENGAGEMENT
Of course it's different! Blogilates concerns pilates only whilst Caroline is strength! It's unfair to compare them!.
ECCENTRIC FLEXION
Caroline is the best!
Neither works for me.
I love Caroline
Caroline is a BAMF and I am in love with her workouts! Beast mode is the best
It definitely no comparison, Caroline the best one!!!
Caroline is a really good trainer IMO but yeah, her upper body workouts often seem to over favour shoulders and omit biceps altogether. So I add in a few sets of bicep curl variations, no big deal, or go with another trainer that day. Her programming and form are really exceptional though, IMO. And her yoga pose that you joke you can't do... you should! It's an excellent balance pose.
