The original trailer appeared in at the Playstation Showcase, was even better. That's the one that blew the internet. I highly recommend watching that one. I still watch it all the time
There was a tweet about a journalist that showcased the bamboo cutting tech in ACS. In the reply an indie game dev roasted them with a clip of their own. It's called ProjectTonin.
God damn Holy shit! The adrenaline and testerone are super charged of excitement, is this another big game coming from china!? I almost swalowed my tongue in awe, Magnificent!! PEAK!
Imagine this game as DMC meets Ninja gaiden meets metal gear rising with the level design of souls games. Since the developers said they loved the level design of the souls games but felt the combat isn't good
The developers of PBZ wanted to do a game that looks like Dark Souls but with gameplay from Ninja Gaiden. So far it looks super good and can't wait for it to release.
"It looks Unreal-enginey?" ??? Engines don't have a look. What this DOES look like is Black Myth Wukong and Wuchang Fallen Feathers, which are two other dark fantasy games made by Chinese developers. This is on contrast to the super bright and colorful look of stuff like Sword & Fairy 7. But yeah, I'm so happy this isn't a Souls-like at all. The developers love Souls level design but much prefer the combat in Metal Gear Rising and and Ninja Gaiden. So they sought to combine the two, and it looks SICK. For anyone bummed to hear it's not a Souls-like, take a look at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. That's a Soulslike coming either this year or the next.
I agree with everything you said above, but as a developer, engines absolutely do have a look. You would definitely be able to tell if this is was made in unity, or frostbite, or infinite, or unreal. One of the biggest sellers for engines is the way they allow games to look versus other engines.
@@Snicker-t-v This is the first time I've ever seen a developer say something like this. Every other time I've seen them chime in they mention that their projects typically use their own assets, their own lighting values, etc... rather than what you see in asset flip projects. Are engines not sold on feature set, asset pipeline, turnaround, and ease of onboarding? I know Epic makes a big deal about UE being easy to learn, which is sold as enabling studios to staff up easily without having to seek out folks with training on X engine. This was, for example, one of the reasons why CDPR cited for moving to UE5.
@@RicochetForce You can still do all that in engine, I never said you couldn't. And to your second point that's why I said one of; not the only reason. My whole point was that if you have experience with engines enough you would be able to tell what engine a game is made on whether it's one of the main or its in-house
It looks like the arkham/spiderman fighting. But with black myth wukong styles too. Looks like a really cool action game. I just hope parry isnt the king of this game.😊
This feels like PlayStation's long term response to Ninja Gaiden Black. I hope so, that it is a truly sadomasochistic experience that makes Dark Souls look like a game for toddlers in terms of difficulty. I don't think many have ever beaten Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja mode and I would like to see that here.

Yeah bro. It was announced back in 2023 of May! I was geeked about it 😁😁
What a week for ninja and samurai, Assassin's Creed shadows, Phantom blade, Ninja Gaiden Black 2 AND Ninja Gaiden 4
I am absolutely loving it bro, so excited for ninja gaiden 4
Ghost of...
Onimusha way of the sword
Phantom blade takes place in China, which doesn't have any Ninjas or Samurais.

They said this was inspired by Metal Gear: Revengence.
He used four different weapons

The game seems like it's going for spectacle more than difficulty. As a side note, you're still in the console wars mindset?
WTF is it with Japanese games and (or media in general) and their hard on and over use of the word "Zero"???
It's Chinese LOL
@ I don’t give a crap, it just means it’s an Asian problem, not just Japanese which doesn’t make it better.
