So many people in life young and old are never taught to know when to stop. And stopping doesn't always mean quitting. The thing I like about what pewdiepie is basically saying is "Im not focusing on growth any more. Im content, more than content with where I am right and what is right in front. @@patrickstar1164 Lets be real here everyone of us has said something like that at least once in our life while being frustrated at a game. He just happened to be on camera
Pewds must have really strong mental fortitude as well as work ethic. The majority of the top 50 UA-camrs around the time Pewds became #1 all dissapered within a few years after Pewds became #1, having that pressure to always deliver some content every day really isn't something most people can handle for many years. But Pewds also had traditional media smearing his good name long before he ever said anything naughty on that bridge, depicting him as a nazi or that his followers were a bunch of nazis - that's dangerous stuff since it just takes one crazy to go end his life. I would have worried if i was him at that time. Anyway, Pewds is badass for doing that daily grind forever and never really complaining like some sissy and never apologizing just because he felt forced to.. but did do so when he felt it was the right thing to do. A good guy! Truly the king of YT
Today i had a thought, asmongold is 70 years old and i am and the bois still looking his stream. It is such a piecefull and wonderfull picture in my mind.
Pewdiepie didn't really do anything especially wrong. People on fiver did weird stuff that he happened to watch and he got serious about curation before he watched from there. It's not his fault he was a pioneer in the field. He was made into a scapegoat for mistakes that a whole generation were making - platforming risky content without prior consideration because the chaos-around-any-corner factor of the internet that we all deal with was part of the appeal for viewers. Some people never understood that form of humor though. Remember that platforming wasn't even a word people used back when he made those "mistakes." Just my thoughts
Whether people want to admit it or not he went through more shit than anyone no matter how small the offense just because he was the biggest pretty impressive how he is still around
12:00 I am not sure why did asmon straight up lie right here, I was there when he played fortnite, he had over 50k viewers and as soon as he started playing fortnite he went down to 30 and eventually even less. maybe hes not lying, but he certainly has a wrong memory of that event.
This reminds me of how Jacksepticeye has taken a different approach to his channel recently, where he's no longer doing consistent uploads, but is instead focussing on being creative and having fun. He's also trying out more of his own original works instead of just playing video games.
When a contentcreator decides to only make content they enjoy making, that will reflect and the video or whatever will be better because of it. Its much more entertaining to watch someone do something they enjoy rather something they think is dull.
I never even got into gaming, I was never interested, but I've been watching Pewds for about 10 years for the entertainment value. Even as a non-gamer, I find his contents very entertaining and I really think he deserves his success on UA-cam. I have a gamer son now and I've probably matured as much as Pewds did. UA-cam in the early 2010's really was the most memorable UA-cam era where everyone was about making entertaining contents as a hobby with minimum equipments and maximum creativity and engagement with audience.
It must be so liberating not having to bow to the algorithm gods and just do whatever you like. I'll be following along Asmon's journey. Follow the progress if his hair loss, watch the first headshave stream... it is going to be so much fun. See what grandpa Asmon is going to do next.
People get bored when they retire, almost like they don’t have a sense of purpose/responsibilities anymore. I doubt he’ll quit, but if it’s something he enjoys then more power to him.
I think he'll keep doing the Vlogs and some gaming videos. Some travel vlogs would also be appriciated by his subs.. traveling outside of japan i mean, at times=)

you gotta remember he blew up around 2012-14 where youtube barely had any adsense and sponsors are pretty rare, but he was still uploading everyday. i mean he was working in a hotdog stand saving money to upgrade his pc, he just really love doing youtube.
edit: for 17:03, not really but thats one of the reasons he moved to japan because he said he barely get recognized when going out.
The only reason people ask you to play ff is because you didn’t finish the story. If you finished it, literally no one would care if you played again. Meanwhile, you been playing wow for months and I literally see people sometimes say, "man I wish he would play wow". Like wut, he plays it all the time.
Damn I missed this outro. Good to see and hear it again on an old vid
Once a King, always a King. Both Pewds and Asmon are kings on each of their own platform.
not sure about asmon tho
@@Dominick77 for WoW maybe lol
@@Dominick77 Interesting
I thought there could only be One True King?
@@Dominick77 if asmon isn't a king of wow then you must be absolute garbage. Lmfao!
Seems like a cool guy, I have never watched his content, but a cool guy either way. But yeah I there at games now, lol I use to crush it, but now I am pretty chill, still play most things at a high lvl but being the best doesn't matter, Cause I did it and could do it again if I really cared 😁
@@patrickstar1164 Lets be real here everyone of us has said something like that at least once in our life while being frustrated at a game. He just happened to be on camera
PewDiePie's Tibia videos are the funniest I've watched from him 😅
Tibia rules!
PewDiePie ♥️♥️♥️
Baldy playing a new/different game feels like watching a caveman seeing fire for the first time.
Watched him since I was a wee lad. Nowadays he got me into reading
Man Pew news and meme review was great
Pewds must have really strong mental fortitude as well as work ethic.
The day we lose Felix is the day we lose a pioneer for UA-cam, a Legend, a gamer, a genius, a comedian, and a friend.
never thought Id see TF Blade catch a stray in an Asmongold video
Today i had a thought, asmongold is 70 years old and i am and the bois still looking his stream. It is such a piecefull and wonderfull picture in my mind.
You know what, your comment makes me want to go see if I can find someone who streams sitting on their front porch whittling.
@@mage1439 Today a lot of ppl, but in 50 years.. idk man
Those headphones are simply outrageous
Pewdiepie didn't really do anything especially wrong. People on fiver did weird stuff that he happened to watch and he got serious about curation before he watched from there. It's not his fault he was a pioneer in the field. He was made into a scapegoat for mistakes that a whole generation were making - platforming risky content without prior consideration because the chaos-around-any-corner factor of the internet that we all deal with was part of the appeal for viewers. Some people never understood that form of humor though. Remember that platforming wasn't even a word people used back when he made those "mistakes." Just my thoughts
Pewdiepie is the most mature person of this platform, the only person on youtube who knows how to make an apoloy video and actually say "I'm sorry".
Asmond looks like marzia brad version
I never really have watched you on twitch. Ran into your UA-cam not too long ago. I really find you entertaining.
yh i prefer this saga on asmon since he come back after his shortt short break a few weeks back, his attitude towards thing is way better
Omg Asmon x Pewds! The collab we only dreamed of
Money = freedom, he right about that. It allows you to not stress and focus ONLY on what you love.
8:39 it's like that German joke that Chris Pratt said, "[...] but you fucked one sheep..."
Whether people want to admit it or not he went through more shit than anyone no matter how small the offense just because he was the biggest pretty impressive how he is still around
Asmongold in 20 years.
Well boys. I play this game as myself so now I’m race changing undead.
7:38 LMAO that jab at Tyler1
Its much more entertaining to watch someone do something they enjoy rather something they think is dull.
this lived up to the truth with recent events.. 13:00
Do people not realize, Asmon kinda started YT around the same time as Pewdiepie.
8:39 - I get you point, nut.... This was also a really good way to put it xD
5:10 that is the face of a man trying to talk himself into something
Back in my days I was the best paladin in the battlegroup. Oh god, good times.
The grind keeps him grounded in life
It must be so liberating not having to bow to the algorithm gods and just do whatever you like.
It's year 2065, Asmongold livestreams the launch of Wrath of the Lich KIng Classic Classic Classic
personality. Watching people explore unfamiliar grounds is exciting.
I had free money to go to an instate school in the early 90s which would be about 10% of the money required to attend university these days. School is a place to fuck off a little bit longer in life until you are put in the place to sustain yourself. You're not meant to be anything. Life just puts you there where you're needed at the time. Consciousness is wild AF.
So the final ark of beastmaster64 didn't end. Happy as always to see more stuff from him.
