I used to live in a room filled with dust and mold as a teenager, I had no issues. Now that I moved out of it, I suddenly have crazy allergic reactions to my old home and my immune system has weakened.

Been there. House of hoarders, took in my ex before we dated. I’d go over the house and clean the room. The room he moved in was never cleaned out. A relative lived there and went to college. The four of them hoarded everything so I’d go over each week to clean , and each time I’d return it would be covered with crap again. I gave up trying.

cool thing is i saw that video of his upstairs and it would be a LIT studio. even in the background you could see that you can turn that into a sick space to create. He just does his unique thing. That's it. I would just make sure to do repairs. lol
He is right, there are a lot of roaches in Texas and if your in an old house. It's very hard to get rid of them all. If your in an apartment its manageable to keep it controlled, unless your neighbor is breeding them. But old home esp those not build on a slab are very hard to keep them out without depending on your landscape.

And it's not like he has no drive, clearly, no selfmade millionaire who manages to maintain their wealth has no drive. The inspirational part is that the non stop ridiculing and hate genuinely doesn't effect him, he doesn't like cleaning and so he won't even if several thousand people make fun of him for it. Nor does he use his material wealth to inflate his own ego unlike 99% of other rich people (not like he needs it anyway).

@@Quanahtorri7work class home, my house isn’t dirty, its just messy because my son has ten Lego projects and a Dino battle going on in the living room and I work 100 hours a week. I deep clean once a week and still make time for my hobbies. If there ain’t bugs living with me then my home is clean.
@@johnnytower6169my ex wife and her mom are like this. She wouldn’t clean up so I gave up and started cleaning the house on my own when she was gone. She divorced me and tried to press abuse charges on me. Long story short the judge basically laughed at her.

This is pretty wholesome. And Asmon, I've been watching you for a long, long time - you are not some cathartic experience for a person looking for validation. You're just real. Even if you moved into a mansion, spent your money, etc, we still grew up with you. Your long time followers would be happy for the work you put in, and what you got out of it.
All in all, I'm glad you get to be creative and grow. I watch your videos when I'm on the treadmill, I watch your videos when I'm cooking, cleaning, listen to your convo content when I'm driving. You are a legitimate person that people can connect with. You found a community you can feel confident in being open and honest with, and supporters who will protect that.

We had a friend from China in college who was 30 years old and living on the freshman floor due to dorm housing shortage, was a doctor in China, worked for the international red cross, had been detained in North Korea, and was tricked into believing Forest Gump was a real person and an American hero. He is right about the roaches in Texas. There's a LOT of wood roaches, and they are huge. We used to get them in our house all the time and my mom kept our house clean as fuck. They are different than the one's that come around in a dirty house though and they don't multiply like crazy you just see one every now and then
Yeah the general rule is that if you see a big roach, it probably just wandered in from outdoors. If you see a small roach, you've got an infestation problem.
Yeah there's a huge difference between a random wood roach that finds it's way in your house vs
the German roach that will infest your house. Wood roaches come in and are mostly looking for water
and then die. German roaches come looking for food and of course thrive in a nasty house but can live and
infest even the cleanest of houses once introduced because they can literally live off eating just cardboard

Yeah first day in texas I met a wood roach face to face as it flew in the sliding door as I was walking out on my balcony. Our battle went through multiple rooms before I succeeded in killing it. I was kind of freaked out because it was huge (expected that) could fly (did NOT expect that) and incredibly durable...

while the rat is disgusting, and finding a roach is absolutely disgusting, this roach in particular around the 3:50 mark, was a wood roach. they're like the stinkbugs of Washington State, they just occasionally find themselves indoors. that one was not one of the rotting food roaches, it was just one that eats dead leaves, tree bark, etc. believe they also go for housing wood that is on its way out too.

What makes crazy people crazy is the fact that they don't know that they're crazy. Asmon is aware that how he lives is abnormal but abnormal does not mean bad or worse. It just means not normal. The fact that he could just easily, with nearly no effort, call a maid service and pay them whatever they wanted to come by and clean his house and yet he doesn't proves that his lifestyle is a choice. He's not mentally ill nor needs help. He is simply living his life the way he wants to live his life and if anyone told you how to live yours you'd tell them to screw off. Everyone's got their opinion but just because someone is not normal doesn't mean you should make fun of them or insist that they change.

lol that's not a roach... most people who live in a warm area likely has a lot more little things flying around the house than you might think. If you don't believe me, get one of those cheap security cams and put it in night mode with the IR light then review the tape. Every tiny thing that flies by will look like a shooting star. My grandmother in TX has the cleanest, most stereotypical home you could imagine. When I visit and come downstairs in the middle of the night, 1-2 giant Texas roaches chillin somewhere is normal and nowhere to be found during the day. There's a reason roaches will outlive us all. They're the ninjas of the pest world.

Eh, I got tons of these in my house, sadly. If it's the same thing, It's a goddamn moth... These little buggers that eat holes into your clothes... when it's somewhat warm you can find their damn eggs sticking to the walls, they look like small leaves. I take them out whenever I see them but there's so many that are hidden... so yeah, in the end, you have them around all the time, and I hate it...
