- Filmed while in Portland for a few days with my DJI Inspire 1. With so many boats and beautiful bridges, I could hardly contain myself once I get in the air and started looking around. Portland is a beautiful city from above, especially the Willamette River area.

I have an Inspire 1 with a Trax GPS any tips? Are you ever nervous flying at high altitudes?
EASkateTV It's all flight time, I have over 50 hours on my inspire alone so I'm fairly confident in it.

Love the aerials - especially the fly-through of Tilikum Crossing Bridge towers followed by the double perpendicular (down and across) shot of the roadbed of the bridge with the small dragon boat emerging below!

Phillip, wonderful video. You definitely have a great eye for aesthetics and your shot list is most impressive. I purchased an Inspire 1 in February but had a mishap after a software update (just days before the new release). It's in DJI's CA depot for service and I can't wait to get it back after being inspired by your work. Just curious as to after flying the P3, would you still choose an Inspire 1 as your bird of choice? Again, thanks for sharing your wonderful work.
Very impressive! Could you share your log camera settings? Sharpness, contrast, etc? This is the best inspire footage I've seen yet!
Joosbox Productions Inc. Thank you! Camera settings were all factory stock. Shot at 4K, 24P, LOG, WB set at 7K, everything else was factory default or auto. I did ride the EV compensation a bit and usually shoot with down just a little as most of the time it tends to overexpose a tiny bit.
Impressive!!!! I have a Phantom 2 with gimbal and are looking at selling and picking up an Inspire. Thanks for the awesome footage. My Wife is from that area. We live in Texas.

Hector Vilorio Thank you! I use a few different places for music. For this piece I used a song from Premiumbeat.com. It's not too expensive and they have some great tunes on there. I've also used freeplaymusic.com, though their library is not quite as high quality(but it's free!).

Thank you! I brought the footage strait into fcpx and did all the editing and color correction in there.

were you flying line of sight or just looking at the monitor? these are amazing.
EvoXstuff A combination of both, I had a spotter for most of it so I could confidently look at the monitor and my spotter would tell me if I was getting too close to something or headed in a direction I shouldn't be.

Did You fly in GPS or attitude mode?
James Rule I used both in this video. There was 12-15MPH winds, so using GPS to setup some of the shots was key. However, being able to get a little extra speed in ATTI mode was necessary to keep up with the boats.
