"Fashionable and lively, the Pearl District is a shopping destination with hip brands, indie boutiques and the massive Powell's City of Books. Reclaimed warehouse spaces house The Pearl's many bars and restaurants, from craft breweries and artisan coffee shops to fine dining mainstays. Galleries showcase contemporary art, photography and glass works. In summer, families cool off in Jamison Square’s wading fountain." Wikipedia
From about 3:00 to 4:35 I walk next to this really loud leaf blower or power washer...so I decided to loop the rain sounds from the beginning of the video over this part. Image taken with a DJI Osmo Pocket. Taken April 22

Love RipCity! So happy to stumbled upon this page!
Beautiful area, love the old brick buildings, I imagine how much history some of these places have been part of. Would have been fantastic if we had today's technology to make and share movies like these when I was going to architecture college here in Brazil, back in the early '80's. Your movies give us a chance to appreciate and fall in love with Portland. When the pandemic is over and life is back to normal, I really hope I can go walk these streets and recognize some of the places you show us. Thank you so much for doing these, it's immensely appreciated!
Thanks. This is one of the nicest areas around
Boring guy
No bums. Rain does that
Found one!
Definitely Portland..this was a nice walk I'm from here and still enjoy a little rain 😂 I like the sound of it
Thanks for these videos. ❤
I just want to thank you for another amazing journey. I love looking at the world through your channel, and it never fails to impress me how big and diverse the world really is.
🍎 Such great ambience walking in the rain. Everything is so lush and beautiful. Great walk. - Henry
I actually visited the city in this area the same day this video was recorded. It's amazing to see how others love to experience the same things you do.
Wow the beauty of this place and of the trees is surreal, love your videos!
It makes me feel like I’m going for a walk there myself-very lovely and serene.
Thank you
I cannot get enough of the Pearl District in the rain! Thank you!!!
Wow, interesting to see how quiet it is there during the lockdown! Hope you're well.
So beautiful
Yes it actually does rain in Portland! That's why we have this green! I hear a lot of people complain about it but you have to understand the fact that if you want the green you have to have the rain. It's really that simple. If you moved here thinking it doesn't rain, that's on you. That's pure stupidity.
thanks for sharing nice video. I subscribed 😊
Wow
Any chances to see walking tour in Eugene sometime? :o)
Yeah once when the shut downs end
My friend Bahlas was study close to this road
wow a rainy day in Portland
👍❤️
Hello, please shoot a new, long watch video about the city of Spokane, Washington. You are great at shooting video
Thanks for the comment. I had plans to travel to other parts of Oregon but then everything shut down from the virus. Right now things are starting to open up again slowly so I planned to go to Eugene, Oregon and of course every city between, then the Oregon Coast when the beaches open.
As for Spokane Washington someone already brought that idea to me and at first I was against it because it is far and hard to justify the cost of the trip to get there. But now that I look into more, the trip would bring alot of good content. I can't give an exact time of when I would start the trip but maybe 3 months or less.
@@4KNatureandCityWalks thank you very much, I will continue to watch your videos, they are very beautifully shot. and, of course, I'm waiting for a video about Spokane in Washington, I'm just going to come to live in Spokane in Washington for family life, and I want to see this place before arrival, so as not to be disappointed.
What camera do you shoot these beautiful videos??
It is sometimes an Osmo pocket, Hero 8 or iPhone 8 Plus
LOL my office.
Just moved back and it feels like 1970's pdx. No ppl. Lol
Where's it at? I watched it several times and didn't see anything..?
Also did you know that Downtown Portland isn't the only neighborhood in Portland? It's 100% true. By neighborhood I don't mean Beaverton or the falls. Neighborhoods being houses with a Portland address
yes but why go back an forth ? you have to improvise ...finally it s a dead city .
