Qigong For Vitality offers simple yet effective, short practices which can be done daily.
I have been practicing it for a while. However during practices, I yawn a lot...any reason behind this because the moves are so gentle and easy...

Hi Jeffrey! Hope you and your family are well! I came across your videos few months ago as my body was fighting the Covid virus. I was very weak and fatigued at some point. I could barely raise my arms or walk in my apartment and it was then when i stumbled upon your videos. I started doing the exercise for the beginners that you posted (i had enough energy to do it for few min only first) and i eventually got better.
My recovery from the virus wasn't easy though. The virus has been in my system for over 5 weeks and i have been totally on my own and in a complete isolation.
I posted a comment to that video and even got your kind reply. God bless you for everything you do for others!
I stopped doing that exercise eventually. We, humans, can be quite inconsistent, even when knowing that we might greatly benefit from something.
I am here now to ask for your kind advice, as you seem extremely knowledgeable in this area. Shortly after i recovered from the virus i developed some new for me chest pains and some other symptoms. Have had them for 4 months already. I was at the different doctors, even at the emergency. I was close to fainting about 4 times during the last 2.5 months. I started having suicidal thoughts, as i feel so tired emotionally, mentally and physically with everything that i have been through the last 5 months and having to still carry this cross solo.
They did a bunch of tests and i still have to do some. But even though i carry those suicidal thoughts i don't really believe that i will have enough courage to act on them. I just have this deep inner knowing that taking your life is very undesirable, mildly putting, from a spiritual standpoint so i am left with no choice but keeping fighting and seeking new ways for a full recovery.
I am more and more inclined to think these days that Qigong might help me again greatly but i do feel overwhelmed with all the information that is out there. After watching a bunch of Videos with Qigong practices on UA-cam i started to feel more and more confused.
It's just that i also started working at the beginning of June so i really can't dedicate lots of time to this practice, no matter how much i would want that. I also get tired more easily these days. Sometimes i sleep up to 12 hours, for i feel so exhausted and fatigued after having to work.
I deeply apologize for writing this lengthy message. In case you are still going to read it (million thanks for doing so in advance!), do you think you could just kindly advise which set of exercises would benefit me most in your opinion? Or shall i just keep doing that exercise for the beginners that i was doing back then?..
Regardless of whether you answer or now, i want to wish you again great health, peace and abundance of everything that your soul only needs on this Earth...
    Many blessings to you!

Love this I will be sending your videos to my father he is recovering from a stroke if any suggestions let me know he’s not usually the type to reach out to anyone for help but yesterday he asked me for help so I am here to absorb anything that can help him .

    • @ThinkVitalityQiGong
      @ThinkVitalityQiGong  4 роки тому +1

I am sorry to hear about your father's stroke. He should definitely have regular visits with a physical therapist, physiotherapist, or doctor in person, especially for the first 3-6 months after a stroke.
It is best to have a personalized medical team to help your father find what is best for him. This could be specific exercises, diet, medication, or supplements. Stroke rehab is very good these days, as long as a person feels motivated to do it consistently.
That's great that he asked for help. Everything he does now will be beneficial in time!

You've really been inspiring and helping me getting into the "good enough" mentality you talked about u had when grocery shopping and not being able to find cherry tomatos. Lately I notice myself being like "eh, good enough" too :o
    Isn't decision fatigue cognitive dissonance?
I shouldn't be doing anything. Everything I do is because I want to because I love myself and want to support myself in the best way possible. I also don't see my to-do lists as "okay, I must do this now" I see it as "I think I wanna do this now, because it's gonna benefit me in the future and or make my present feel better". Guess, I've already done quite some work on that one. :O :)
I havw been noticing too, that the overflow of energy nowadays really clashes with your natural breathing patterns. Thank you for that tip, just making some food taking deep breaths :D
"Breathe like a relaxed animal" 😹😹😹 I mean.. that's kinda what we are.. when we are relaxed.
Oh and btw, I'd also get Instagram, Twitter.. hm. Yeah. Those are popular. Use hashtags and all. It's a looot of work, but that's how you can make your brand grow. Even TikTok maybe. But I personally dislike that stuff, not good for the qi.

Hi Jeffrey and CommuniQi friends! Oh dear, it was so good to hear this message..... I have lapsed a week in following daily routines, and again missed out on the live chat, but ..... since I started qigong with you I have become so aware of the importance of breathing, that every day I at least make certain to do exactly that what you told us just now: mindful breathing while pruning in the garden, while prepping vegetables or fruit for preserving, while just taking a break from all I tell myself needs to be done at the moment..... To me it seems that this pandemic has caused an enormous wave of mindfulness and special energy around the globe, which is illustrated so beautifully in all the reactions I just read. We have just entered our next two weeks of total Lockdown and hope that after that time life can slowly get back to ‘normal’. Grateful greetings from the Cape in South Africa!
